MELISSA JTruck was dirty, and auto transport had a flat tire. Location had to make me call roadside assistance to get tire fixed. Got an email from tow company that it would be 90+ min before getting to the uhaul pickup location. This was already 5pm in the afternoon, which meant that I would have to wait 2+ hour of my time to get equipment that should have been inspected prior to me picking it up. I had to go to another location to get an auto transport. This was a a very big inconvenience. I got behind schedule 5hrs because of this.

ANGEL HMy rental was a one way from Michigan to Athens. I picked this drop off spot because of its appearance as I drive by it 3 or 4 times a week. Yes if I need to rent from uhaul this will be place I go. Lady at desk was very pleasant to work with.

Lee EPretty much every step of this was a disaster. Reserved a 15-foot truck based on the recommendation of the website relative to the apartment being moved. Truck was way undersized for a normally furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Set up an 8:30 am pickup through the app. Arrived at 8 am to check in and the app malfunctioned for an hour. It repeatedly froze and asked for the same information without explaining what the problem was. Got a text which said we were going to receive a phone call that never came. I called myself, only to wait for 30 minutes to eventually be told that the previous renter of the truck incorrectly returned it. Saw an employee of the location arrive at 8:35 am who refused to help until the store opened at 9 am despite knowing we had a reservation at 8:30 am we couldn't access. This means we couldn't get the truck to the move site and the movers we were paying by the hour until well after we originally intended. Interior of the truck was dirty and stained. Upon returning to pick up some moving pads and ratchet straps, my fiance felt the same employee gave her attitude. Additionally, while we thought we were having a bad experience, she heard the customer in front of her be told they didn't have the truck he reserved. Based on this experience, we will be seeking alternative options for moving equipment moving forward.

Caitlin CFilthy cab. Spilled coffee and popcorn. Also, didn't have the size I reserved and gave me no notice of this. Luckily had a larger truck available. I would be shocked if they actually test and service these vehicles after use.

Wendy DWas not clean had to sweep it out. This is not the first location I have experienced this. It seems that the past few locations I have rented from do not follow up and clean behind past customers. This is not a deal breaker, with this location, I will use them again.
Leonard GI was told to hook up auto transport myself and pull it to the office for lighting check. There was no safety pin for the coupler provided. Fortunately I had one of my own to use. Drop off location was a world of difference in service. Mr Berry and an assistant parked and disconnected the auto transport for me and were very courteous in the process.
Gary MWe had a delay in pickup time, and then change in pickup location without being informed of the change or giving us the opportunity to make adjustments. Employee was a bit rude when discussing our situation. Overall would not recommend U-Haul in general - not specific to this branch

Brent HThe cab of the truck was filthy!! The truck was a bear to drive. The steering was loose and the brake and gas were touchy. The truck needed maintenance in my opinion.
John SThere was a foot long Crack at the bottom of the windshield. Tires on the car hauler were bad. Had a blow out 40 minutes into the trip. Only 1 of 2 people had knowledge on how to tie down the car

Michael EI picked up the U-Haul and the employee told me that the person before me forgot to check in so the mileage was going to be off. Never updated that into the system so when I dropped the U-Haul off the mileage was wrong and it said that I drove 80 miles, 30 miles over my expected mileage so I was charged for extra mileage even though I drove my estimated amount.
Brandon AI don't agree with being charged 364 dollars for dropping it off at a different location than where I picked it up. It would cost 50 in gas to drive it back to where I got it from. I will remember that the next time I'm in need of a moving truck.
James SI did have an issue when trying to return the vehicle. It took longer than I would have liked. Customer service was able to help me resolve the issue.

Joseph KNothing about the location itself, but the first time I’ve used the truck share 24/7 for this rental, it took about 15 mins to be ‘verified’ which was frustrating.

I'd rent from them any time, uhaul and storage space plusI can't say I experience greatcustomer understanding & service at such a great level in every placeI shop. ...Superb customer service. Frederick CClear precise information that is honored by the company. Was told since I was picking it up on 1/4 tank of gas, if I returned it with the same amount I would be reimbursed $10. But if less then no penalty. However I got charged $40 for gas. Was told that I could estimate additional mileage and if I used less then I would be refunded. That was also false. Looks like profits are gained on hoping customers believe what they say and don't follow up on their promises.
Caldin HWe were delayed 30 minutes before getting to location, so they were closed. Therefore, used online return. this was a disaster. I could not go forward on site all the way through without being sent back several times. Ended up calling a number I was giving by a uhaul customer support rep. and being sent to another location. The person at his location had us checked in and out of there in 5 minutes. People I talked to were great, but the online process needs work. My son said he had a similar situation when he rented a truck awhile back.
