Experience was good, nice people. The total cost was more than i expected, paying by the mile is really expensive.

CLIFFORD NFirst, the web page kept totally screwing up my attempts to reserve a trailer & appliance dolly. Then I was sent across the county over 20 miles away from my house to this location to pick up my trailer & dolly. Once there, they didn't have an appliance dolly and had to send me to another location to get one. Then back to this location to get the trailer. Then I received the "please verify the license on the trailer" text which had a totally incorrect license listed. The RV number was correct. They looked in the computer and told me the computer was correct. All in all the personnel were helpful but they unfortunately were victims of a severe FU by U-Haul's computer system.
THOMAS CThe truck was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. The back of the truck had sand all over the floor. The tire pressure light was on for two tires. During my trip I had a flat on the interstate I was able to get off the interstate where I waited for an extended period of time. I was given a vehicle that was unsafe and not fit for rental and now I am expected to pay full price for this horrible experience?!?
AMY GI picked a location close to the start of my in-town move and a drop off close to my ending location. Instead, the app picked a new spot for me the day of the move that was 20 miles out of the way. Very annoying.

DERRICK TTruck was awful they did exchange it but they never should have given us this badly stained truck. They blamed it on you and said they are a storage place not UHaul. Shame on you for not taking Better care to make sure your customers don't get better service and equipment. We will NEVER use Uhaul again. There are so many choices now. We never used anyone else but no more.

FRED WNow I must let you know this as well. My original drop off location on Countyline Rd. I had a different experience. I got there the it was closed. I called the phone number on the receipt at least 3-times kept getting the voicemail. Waited about 45-mins and tried calling again a guy answered the phone and I told him that I was there to drop off the auto transport trailer. He stated that he was closed and it's RAINING there's no way in the (HELL) that he was coming up there so I could turn in the equipment BECAUSE U-HAUL DONT PAY HIM ENOUGH!!! WOW THAT WAS A BIG SHOCK TO HEAR AS A CUSTOMER. I had him on speaker phone in which my wife and 2-kids heard his unpleasant words. So I had to drive around with the hopes of finding another U-Haul location. After about a hour I found another location that was open on Hwy-72 that accepted the equipment. They were very nice. At first she said that you didn't know if she could accept the equipment and if she did she would have to charge me a FEE because lt was supposed to be drop off at the County Line Rd location. I explained what happened. She made a phone call then stated that she could accommodate my drop off. All I could do was say thank you. I paid $93 for the entire transaction don't know if that was correct. Didn't mean to be so long winded but I never experienced this type of customer service before from U-Hual. I recommend that you REACH OUT TO THAT EMPLOYEE AT THE COUNTY-LINE location and take ACTION for his unparalleled profanity comment that he made to me. I did get his name is was (James). I will Pray that you will handle this issue. I thank U-Haul you guys are the BEST✅

CYNTHIA BI was very disappointed with the way my account was handled I requested I picked up at a different location once I drove to that location with my claim number it told me that I was at the wrong location and sent me miles out of the way which cost me money on my mileage I'm very please with this action not sure what the problem was I've waited from y'all numerous times and never had an issue but this time I am this please with the way it was handled
Steven BI could not rent a tow dolly although I have a (well maintained) 03 F150 4x4, with a hitch rating of 5000lbs. Towing a 05 Chevy Aveo with a curb weight of 2300lbs. The agent at the counter entered this information into U-Haul's system but for some reason I could not get the approval. Instead to get this simple tow done I had to rent a 10' truck, with the tow dolly. Almost felt like this was a U-Haul money making scheme. If the age of my truck was a concern, then maybe make it mandatory to choose a full coverage protection on the equipment, which I normally do at every rental nonetheless..

MELISSA JTruck was dirty, and auto transport had a flat tire. Location had to make me call roadside assistance to get tire fixed. Got an email from tow company that it would be 90+ min before getting to the uhaul pickup location. This was already 5pm in the afternoon, which meant that I would have to wait 2+ hour of my time to get equipment that should have been inspected prior to me picking it up. I had to go to another location to get an auto transport. This was a a very big inconvenience. I got behind schedule 5hrs because of this.

ANGEL HMy rental was a one way from Michigan to Athens. I picked this drop off spot because of its appearance as I drive by it 3 or 4 times a week. Yes if I need to rent from uhaul this will be place I go. Lady at desk was very pleasant to work with.

Lee EPretty much every step of this was a disaster. Reserved a 15-foot truck based on the recommendation of the website relative to the apartment being moved. Truck was way undersized for a normally furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Set up an 8:30 am pickup through the app. Arrived at 8 am to check in and the app malfunctioned for an hour. It repeatedly froze and asked for the same information without explaining what the problem was. Got a text which said we were going to receive a phone call that never came. I called myself, only to wait for 30 minutes to eventually be told that the previous renter of the truck incorrectly returned it. Saw an employee of the location arrive at 8:35 am who refused to help until the store opened at 9 am despite knowing we had a reservation at 8:30 am we couldn't access. This means we couldn't get the truck to the move site and the movers we were paying by the hour until well after we originally intended. Interior of the truck was dirty and stained. Upon returning to pick up some moving pads and ratchet straps, my fiance felt the same employee gave her attitude. Additionally, while we thought we were having a bad experience, she heard the customer in front of her be told they didn't have the truck he reserved. Based on this experience, we will be seeking alternative options for moving equipment moving forward.

Caitlin CFilthy cab. Spilled coffee and popcorn. Also, didn't have the size I reserved and gave me no notice of this. Luckily had a larger truck available. I would be shocked if they actually test and service these vehicles after use.

Wendy DWas not clean had to sweep it out. This is not the first location I have experienced this. It seems that the past few locations I have rented from do not follow up and clean behind past customers. This is not a deal breaker, with this location, I will use them again.
Leonard GI was told to hook up auto transport myself and pull it to the office for lighting check. There was no safety pin for the coupler provided. Fortunately I had one of my own to use. Drop off location was a world of difference in service. Mr Berry and an assistant parked and disconnected the auto transport for me and were very courteous in the process.
Gary MWe had a delay in pickup time, and then change in pickup location without being informed of the change or giving us the opportunity to make adjustments. Employee was a bit rude when discussing our situation. Overall would not recommend U-Haul in general - not specific to this branch

Michael EI picked up the U-Haul and the employee told me that the person before me forgot to check in so the mileage was going to be off. Never updated that into the system so when I dropped the U-Haul off the mileage was wrong and it said that I drove 80 miles, 30 miles over my expected mileage so I was charged for extra mileage even though I drove my estimated amount.
Brandon AI don't agree with being charged 364 dollars for dropping it off at a different location than where I picked it up. It would cost 50 in gas to drive it back to where I got it from. I will remember that the next time I'm in need of a moving truck.
