timothy hI've been to Safe Ship for a couple of different reasons. Always a great and friendly experience.
JAMIE NI went to pick up the trailer and the lock to get the key did not work. I had to wait two hours until the store opened. No one at the store apologized for the inconvenience. I then got the truck, took it home and found that the tail gate would not open and had to go back to the store. Beyond that the truck was disappointing. The gas mileage was terrible. The check engine light was on from the time I picked it up going forward. Finally, the tires were nearly bold. They spun when I was gently backing up my driveway.

DOUGLAS TWent in to the location. Reservation was complete in less than 10 minutes. Picked up and van was clean and ready to go and again out in less than 10 minutes. Great friendly staff and asked questions to make sure I got the right equipment for what I needed. Overall a great experience.
JAMES AYour check in process is absurd. You cost me to ve an hour late getting started which means I had to pay the mover $60 extra. On top of it all, even tho you caused me to get a late start, you charged me extra for having the truck vack 10mins late. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Michael AOriginal truck we were given had terrible alignment and check engine light was on. Switched truck was better, but still had many scratches along sides. Inside was clean and customer service was good despite issues with first truck.

robert kThe location was average; however, the pickup coordination was unacceptable. We made arrangements to pick up 20-foot truck over three weeks before our move. The day before our move, we were told to go to a different location due to the previous location not having the scheduled vehicle. Our pickup time was scheduled for 8 am and we had movers scheduled for 9 am. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, the truck we were told it was not available and we needed to go to another location to get a 26-foot truck, which was not what we scheduled and was too large for a cross-state move for a two-bedroom apartment. After speaking with another representative, we were told the 20-foot truck was available at the second location; however, we would have to wait an hour until the store opened in order to get it, because they had failed to put the keys in the remote pickup box the day prior as promised. We got the truck after they opened after 9 am. This put us behind with our scheduled movers who were billing us $150 an hour per person. Due to starting at 9:30 am instead of 9 am as scheduled, we were charged for the 30-minute delay of $225 (for three workers). UHaul only authorized a $50 refund for the inconvenience. We were scheduled to have the truck for 4 days: however, we only needed it for 2 days. We received the truck on June 28th at 9:15 am and returned it on June 30th at 12:45 pm. We were told since it was returned to a different location, we could not receive a refund for the extra day(s). A policy was not clearly advertised; especially, since your policy allows for early cancellations. Also, we had rented a dozen blankets for the move and were told that they showed we were responsible for 14 blankets; however, we only returned 11 and 3 were damaged. Unfortunately, we did not count them; however, we are certain we did not damage any. Because of this assertion, UHaul attempted to charge my American Express card without any communication or authorization, so I disapproved the charge, which initiated a fraud alert on my card. American Express cancelled my card for safety reason and reissued me a new card; however, due to the fact that I was out of town, I did not have access to my card again until I returned home several days later. When I contacted UHaul after this, I discovered the $40 charge and the hold on my account for payment. When I mentioned I was expecting a refund for returning the truck early, that is when I was told about the out of state return policy of no refund. Fortunately, I had my Visa to pay the unacceptable $40 fee. As you can see, I was out an additional $225 for delayed accessibility to my scheduled truck, $40 for questionable damage and missing blankets, and payment for unused day(s) for truck, while only receiving a meager $50 refund. As a retired military officer, retired chief of police, current City Manager, and father of two college and graduate students, we have had the need for and utilized UHaul on many occasions with good results; however, I must say this experience has been extremely disappointing and unreasonably more expensive due to errors on UHaul's part.

Joliene GI don't know if it was the ap or the location for cell service but the photos required to rent the uhaul on the app wouldn't load in a timely manner.it was very frustrating. I'm sure if the building was open it would be fine. The ap was the issue

Todd BVehicle interior could have been a little cleaner but had a few issues that customer service was able to resolve. Easy pick up and drop off was even easier. Pricing was fair. We got a 9' dodge promaster 2500 it was nice and fun and very easy to drive. Rear camera and lcd display and push start made me want to but one but can't cause of credit and my fiancé and I have two service dogs and we are currently homeless. Don't know what I'd do without you u-haul.

Carol SEverything was great but there was a dispute In the miles. I drove 68 miles and the. Vehicle is saying I drove 268 miles in a day which is not correct. I've been charged now 246 dollars for driving 68 miles. I believe one of the techs working messed up inputting the mileage from previous trip. But over all this location is excellent the owner is excellent and was out of town at the time this happened but Is working to correct the issue. I will be back as I have never had another issue regarding this business, besides this one which just seems to be a clerical error.

He was absolutely amazing very respectful and helped me as so much and so many ways. I'm so very happy that I went with the U-Haul in Fort Thomas Kentucky and if I ever needed it again, that would be my first stop nowhere else and thank you very muchfor all your help I greatly greatly appreciate it. Jim HWhen I reserved the trailer I specifically requested a box trailer. I was told this location had on. They did not. Fortunately a alternative was available. If not we would have had to stay the night and find another location. You should not over promise and under deliver.
