Was charged for insurance coverage that I did not request. Person never asked if I wanted coverage - he simply took it upon himself to add it. Feel cheated and believe it was deliberately done. I question the places business ethics...

They give you a daily rate, then they ask you for how long you will need it. Unfortunately if you pass that time, they threaten you to charge you double.

Not much to say since I dropped off during non-business hours. Parking was a little tight trying to squeeze a 20' truck in between 2 others without much room to turn.

The person running this facility added rental insurance coverage without my consent. Then when I asked him about the charge he has the audacity of saying that I asked for it when we were walking out to the truck. They should have the renter initial by any added fees so we're not surprised by any charges. I expect to get reimbursed for the insurance coverage.

The location was not the problem. I was quoted one amount at the time of purchase and then charged an extra amount for some environment bull and then an extra $20 something dollars for the 6 miles I went over. Get your way of doing business together or you won’t last.

The car transport was very rusty making it hard to secure the car. The truck itself was clean and in good condition. My reservation got very screwed up. Insurance that I didn’t request was added so I had to get billed twice in order to finalize the transaction. I was refunded a partial amount, but the other amount is still missing. I keep calling uhaul customer service to no avail. I was supposed to get a call back from a manager today but got blown off apparently. Very disappointing.

It was a good experience, the owner was nice..but as I was driving away, i noticed crumbs and cheetos on the floor. When I finished my drive I came back to notify owner that it was given to me that way..but he was not there. Sadly I got charged a 10 dollar cleaning fee...I was trying to save money and I got charged for someone else's mess! Not happy at all..

One of the tires was low I even took a photo Of it. When I did my reservation online i did not add any vehicle protection but when I received my bill it included a safe move which I did not agreed to it . I ended up signing the bill first of all, I did not know if I am getting that removed from the bill, I had to pay a 90 some of deposit (hold) which is more than wha I paid. i want this experience be over with. I am no longer renting from U-Haul i am very disappointed of how I never got asked if I wanted to add a safe move which I did not agreed to.

These comments also include the S. “J” street location. Terrible experience with reserving the trailer. First location didn’t have it, so the employee, Victor, helped me reserve the trailer at another location. When I went to pick up the trailer, the place was closed, so I called the contact person, Bobby. He said he was at a doctor’s appointment, and that the trailer I reserved was already reserved for a different customer. I called Victor again to inform him, so he reserved another trailer at another location. It was to be ready for pick up between 2:00 and 2:45. I had Victor call to confirm the reservation. He said that the contact person, Orlando, at this location was on lunch until 2:30. I arrived at the location by 2:15, waited until 2:40, then called Orlando. He finally arrived at 2:50. I was very upset at the entire experience as I waisted 3 hours out of my day, had to call these people, and had to drive to 3 different locations. Orlando charged me $9 for coverage on the trailer that I declined. I want a whole refund in the amount of $56.10 for this terrible experience. Victor was the only one who was helpful throughout this. If it wasn’t for him, I would have gone elsewhere. Victor told me that Rudy was to give me a call to figure out what was going on with this situation. Still, I have not received a call from him. I have used Uhaul multiple times in the past, but if I don’t receive a full refund, I’ll never again use your services, will tell my colleagues to never use your services, and will report this situation to the BBB and other organizations.

Do not ask customer to come in earlier than the reservation time so you can go home earlier. Give the customer a printed receipt. Saying you are going to email the receipt and then not doing it is not acceptable. We did not have the number to call to check the Uhaul trailer in ourselves. Mow the grass around the trailers.

I had two different agents call on me. They sent me to the wrong location. Had to wait for a vehicle that came from Corpus Christi, when all was said and done, I could have taken a vehicle that was already in McAllen, instead of waiting for that vehicle (that I was told not to take) I waited for, for nothing.

The man who processed our contract was unprofessional!! Not only did he change our pick up time to suit his personal doc appt but he worked out of a Salsa Dance studio. He pull out a gun from his holster and said he also teaches concealed hand-gun lessons. Then we went to where the trailer was to hook it up to our truck, he gave us instructions then left us to do it ourselves. Turns out the wire was frayed so the brake lights, etc did not work. After going to a couple of different auto parts stores and discovering they don't sell them we went to another Uhaul rental location and they were able to exchange it for us. I later discovered he charged us for the insurance which I DID NOT want. Now Uhaul will not return my calls!!! I will rent from Penske for ALL future needs!

No because i had very rude and unsatisfactory no customer service what so ever i walk up to the owner there and just asked him kindly if i was in the right address he addressed to me in return with the most faul language saying what cant figure it out what the hell does it say i was floored i went with it no facial expression off of me and continued by asking is this your address sir he replied yeah it is..i said ok then im correct here is the equipment..then he replies with such an unwelcoming voice saying why did have to come at this time dont you see i buzy i have better things to then doing a damn return shit i dont have time..the return to thislocation never go there or do businesses they got no customer service and dont expect to be treated fairly either south texas troll motors at 9705 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78418 they really shouldn't be a dealer at all.

Horrible treatment, rented out a truck for a few hours, keep in mind that I paid as if I had rented it out for a whole day. Was contacted by the business for me to hurry up and return the truck due to another client having rented out the truck. Turned in the truck without finishing my needs and later learned that there was no other client in fact the truck remained at location for three more days without being rented out all because the employer didn't want for his employee to wait a few.

Both pick-up and drop-off locations were fine. Truck was fine. But service was HORRIBLE. Same as it was when I used your company last year. Truck not available; had to get different size truck; at different location; wasted over two hours; screwed up my plans with workers I had hired. What's the point of making reservations a week in advance if you're not going to have the vehicle ready at the location & time you requested. No other national company company could get away with this. Good thing you don't own an airlines or car rental business. It would be chaos. You all have a lot of problems to iron out.

u haul made a mess of my reservation and caused me and my family to lose precious time and money, not to mention making the move to a new place a horrible experience instead of a good one. your employees even called me a liar.

I have had a horrible experience renting this week. On Sunday 6/12, I went to my usual place for rental, but was referred to another location in town. When I rented, I explained that I wanted an extra day (3 days total) added so that I could return the truck back where I was picking it up. Since I was traveling from McAllen to Corpus Christi, I was contracted one way, in stead of in town, since Corpus Christi was 2 hrs away. I was told to contact uhaul when I was in Corpus, and uhaul would change the rental back to McAllen. When I contacted customer service yesterday afternoon, they said it wouldn't be a problem, and while transferring me to the Traffic department, I was accidentally disconnected. I planned on calling back, since I didn't want to use the phone while I was driving. When I arrived back in McAllen, it was very late. So I decided to leave the truck at night, and call back in the morning, explaining my stituation. This morning 6/15, I saw billed an additional amount, far exceeding what I am comfortable paying for the difference in miles. I called customer service, and was referred to traffic. They wouldn't help me, so I asked for a Supervisor. She said she would help me, but because the truck was entered into the computer at a different location than where I picked it up, she couldn't do anything until she figured out why it wasn't where I left it, and assured that I would be contacted later today, and not to call back. I did call back this evening, but after I contacted the gentleman I rented the vehicle from. He told me that he tried entering it into his system, but because it was a referral, the other location picked it up that morning and entered it into their system/location. He also contacted his field manager. When I contacted traffic this evening, since I never got a call back, the supervisors had left for the day. The operator gave me a direct number to Uhaul. When I contacted Uhaul, the lady said she didn't know why I was given her number, and said she would compensate me any monies, or help me. When I addressed her sarcasm, she deliberately hung up on me. I called back, and talked to a nice lady named Veronica. She helped me with the contact information to file a complaint, and understood my situation. Since I was given 225 miles initially, I only went over 95 miles, and I have no argument about paying that. What I dispute is that I trusted Evernone involved to see my request, and honer my travel plans. Instead I was contracted one way instead of a round trip, and was billed $148 to leave, and over $240 to return. I understand that there is an inconvenience in changing my contract, but I have been very honest about my travel plans and intention to travel to another city and return back. That is why I asked for an extra day (3) instead of two(2), like I always do. I have been renting uhaul a every month for months, and have been renting periodically for years. If I can not get this amount reduce
