The location is in a sketchy neighborhood, and not conveniently located to anywhere. And the way you mislead people about the rental price and then nickel and dime them in mileage is jaw dropping. SO MANY hidden fees. Also it took me 30 minutes to actually get my rental cutting into my rental time.
Anna BjorkEverything was great until I returned the truck using the mobile app. I had never had an issue with the app before, but my return took more than 40 minutes. I had strong reception and no speed issues with any other apps, so I'm confident the issue was with the U-Haul website. It took more than 5 minutes to move from one step to the next, and uploading the photos took much longer than that. It was at night, in the dark, tired and hungry after moving, and with my wife waiting for me the whole time - what a bummer. The response time through the app was so slow, it put a serious damper on an otherwise great rental experience. The app was great in the same location on the same device at pickup, but the web server speed made the return frustrating and stressful.

Graham DieckmanI asked to have in person check in to pick up the van. I got there and no one was around. I called the phone number on the door and it was for the storage center and they could not help. I contacted U-Haul and was told I had to pickup the van using a phone app. I did that. It was a long process. By the time I was finally given the code to get the van keys from the lock box, it had taken over an hour. I contacted U-Haul when I was done and complained. I was told someone would contact me the next day. I waited 10 days and no one contacted me. I called U-Haul again and was told someone would get back to me in a few days. I am still waiting to hear from them. I wanted a partial refund of the rental price for all the hassle they put me through. I will be calling U-Haul, AGAIN, today. I don't expect them to "get back to me." Very unhappy.

Craig StaceyVehicle was extremely dirty inside and out. This thing needed a complete cleaning and wash. Also had tons of caked on bugs on entire front and windshield. Windshield washer fluid did nothing to get bugs off windshield. Filthy filthy filthy but did the job I needed it to do.

jeff reinhardI understand the need for the authentication protocols and location services requirements but you should tell customers about them ahead of time so people can have it all ready to go on moving day. The added stress of those two things are not helpful on moving day and I would have been ready for them if I had been told of the requirements.
Michael CoddingtonTruck mechanical condition was good, I ordered a Appliance dolly and it was not given to me in with the truck. then i send extra bugs to rent it since it is Sunday , i have to travel somewhere else to get another rental dolly to move my stuff since it weekend office was also closed to take it from there. Truck inside was not at all cleaned by previous user and drivers cabinet was full of weed smell which i hate and not used to it, i bought a broom and cleaned it a bit before loading my stuff to my home. Merci.
