The back door lift spring is too tight, the door is very difficult to close and when you open the door it springs up and slams to the top, as it sit it caught my hand and damaged Two fingers. I may lose a nail and is swollen. I advise you have it fixed immediately, btw the door was jammed open when I received the trailer because of this over loaded lift spring

Truck was coverage with mud from front to back And top to bottom.

Jacqueline OSeems I've been needing to rent trucks and vans recently for business. I make it a point to go to the Berkey Drive location. The staff is very professional, and courteous. They have a great selection of U-haul rentals available.
Dave ROnly issue is that the window crank knob kept falling off. Very annoying and slightly painful to crank without. I told the associate when I dropped off the vehicle and he said, "They're all broken…". I think that's a cop out, a sort of giving up, and you can do better.

Arick OI believe the Manager and another staff member made me feel like I was bothering them. I felt a negative energy from them as soon as I walked in. When I complained about the issues I had they didn't make note of the list I gave them. All that was said was okay and that "I should have had a newer truck" since I traveled halfway across the country. They didn't even offer to print out my receipt.

tonja wThe truck I received was dirty inside and out. My son and I opened the door in the back when I got home and it smelled like pot. I reserved a dolly but the guy said there was none available because someone took two. I rent cars and the employees walk me around to check for problems. I was told on the phone that yes they had a problem with that truck and had another available but when I got back there they told me nothing was available. I asked for a refund. Said no. Terrible customer service. Just very upsetting.
Christine MI called the facility to inform them of a slight delay in picking up the equipment. The individual assisting me, provided me the option of a trailer with a ramp versus a trailer without a ramp. I mentioned the ramp would be extremely useful as i was loading a heavy motorized wheelchair. Upon arrival the same individual acknowledged he had the trailer with the ramp available and started to process the paperwork. There was another individual in the office that was going to assist me to hook up the trailer that asked if my rental was one way or round trip. When he found out it was a one way rental, he instructed the individual processing my paperwork that he had the trailer with the ramp reserved for another person performing a local rental. I have rented multiple trailers from this location and each time the same person, in charge of hooking up the trailer provides me with the lesser quality trailer. The prior time I rented a trailer I pointed out one tire that was questionable, and his resoponse was "the trailer was just inspected, and is fine. If you have an issue call roadside assistance." This is not good customer service.

Donald HThe counter lady definitely had some attitude. Unbelievably, she was in the middle of texting someone on her phone while slowly, at the same time, handling my check out. I made a comment about how long it was taking and got a pretty snippy response....whoa! Even the other counter guy turned and stared at her. Through the years, I've previously rented a number of times from this facility and it's always been prompt, courteous and very efficient. Now? Well, it's mostly still there. Other than that, a good experience and all ended up well. Just hope I don't get her next time. Jim Beucler
JIM BWhen I picked up van, it could not be found. Then, it was not examined for previous damage and dents with me the customer. I had to take photos and send to UHAUL once I got home. Then on my on time van drop off, I accidentally left my expensive soft floor carpet in the van, and no one called me to let me know that I left it in the van to pick it up!! I got a cleanup charge of $41 INSTEAD. What type of company and CS does this by charging me !! > and keeps my carpet??? Where's my carpet? I want my carpet back!! I want a REFUND of $41 to my CC !! Michael MBased on my experience, there wasn't anything to be improved upon. The manager at this location was fantastic. I didn't have exactly the right towing equipment, so he quickly remedied the situation. Picking up and returning were very easy.

Gerald DI got what I needed for a fair price, but it would have been nice if the customer service workers at the desk could have been courteous to show me which truck was mine to use, and show me how to open the back trunk door and lock it. Going to extra mile to help customers feel assured and welcomed would have been appreciated. Also, the truck was quite dirty and smelly.

Manuel JI was allotted less miles than my destination because I did not know which location exactly by my house would take the truck after a one-way rental. They did not tell me that or help me with that. Also, when I picked up the truck it was on EMPTY, they even commented apologized about it. When I returned the truck it had almost 1/4 of a tank yet they charged me anyway. I felt deceived. there are so many places to rent trucks from now., I will never use U-Haul again. They were always my go to and I used to trust them but not anymore.
SUSAN BYour truck share program is horrible. I was not told when i went to one loction palm Springs that there was a truck in Pam Desert. The person at Palm Springs never said no one was there and I could not get the app downloaded to my phone. So I was on Dinah Shore with furniture to be delivered and no way to get the truck....The download never worked. Finally after much drama I was redirected to an actually opened store and the lady at the palm desert store was very nice and I actually had the panel truck. This was a horrible experience and the share program does notr work
Michael SMi have rented from here multiple times but this last time was a disaster. The lady working is very rude and has no people skills. I am very unhappy with the service that I received and will not recommend this location to anyone.

David AI reserve my truck online with the pickup time of 8:00am. When I got to the location I was told they didn't have any trucks. The woman at the desk suggested I cancel my reservation and she make a new one for me at another location. When I called customer service I was told that the pickup location they had in the system was different from the one I had in my confirmation email. When I made it to that location I was told by the man at the desk that I had to download the app to check out the truck because Uhaul doesn't open until 9:30am. I was then told that I couldn't have access to the wifi to download the app and check out the truck. I was then further told that the last time someone tried to download the app to check out their truck it took 45 minutes. He suggested I leave the store where the signal would be stronger. I left the store to drive around and find a stronger signal. I downloaded he app and tried to register to check out the truck. I was then told that because I had an out of state license I had to provide two references for a rep to call. I provided the references I then received a call from the rep because the app kicked me out of the process and he had to help guide me back to the point where I pay for the truck. when it was straightened out I the app pulled up the location for me to select so I can pick up the truck. The app wouldn't let me select the location and I was then told by the rep on the phone that I couldn't select it because I wasn't close enough to the location. I then drove back to the location to select it and went into the store for help. I was then helped by the same man who was there an hour and a half ago. The same man who told me I had to download the app if I wanted to check out the truck. I asked him why he didn't help me an hour and a half ago. He stated that although the storage unit was open Uhaul wasn't so he couldn't help me and he couldn't grant me access to the storage company's wifi because it for employee use only. The whole experience was extremely ridiculous and a complete waste of an hour and a half.
james tLock on truck was hard to open. Moving company you recommended was not reliable. I put in a reservation, and they never contacted me!
