24/7 pickup took way longer than expected the response back was very slow we were there for over an hour. Everything else was good
Christie Y.On the day I was due to return the trailer, there was no one available to unhitch the trailer. I was told to go to another uhaul dealer and return it. When I did, Uhaul tried to charge me a phenomenal amount of money for not returning it to the original dealer. The man spent a long while trying to get the charges removed, but couldn't get the last $7,53 removed. He said he would keep trying. I've had problems like this with Uhaul in the past. Your dealers are nice, efficient, helpful, and well-informed, but Uhaul itself has a lot of issues that makes the overall experience difficult. You need to step up your game at home office.

Joseph B.My experience with the U-Haul rep was fine. They were pleasant even when busy. However, I did not know I would receive a time sensitive text with photos of the truck that had to be approved by me. By the time I saw the text and responded, it had expired. There was a plate cover inside the bed that was loose. We found out how loose when my son was carrying a box onto the truck, stepped on the plate, and his foot fell through. Thankfully, he was not injured but we had to remove the entire plate so we could push the ramp back under the truck. I don't know if the rep was aware or not. But it was pretty obvious when I stepped on it that it was very loose. I'm surprised that a previous customer did not report it. I've rented from U-Haul many times, so I don't think this experience will keep me from renting again. But this review is just a reminder that the renter is not the only one who needs to observe the condition of the truck.

NORMAN E.The app to pick up the truck is pretty ridiculous. Difficult to use and actually rather worthless when you have to check in at a front desk anyway to get the keys. The email instructions for your reservation make it appear as though the app is only way you can get the keys. In fact, that is untrue. REALLY BAD DESIGN!!!!
