The staff spent time to explain about the return policy which was always frustrated me due to return within 24 hrs but off the office hrs. There are all kinds of charges.. so make sure you ask about if you return late. e.g. the insurace will be charged not daily but ad many hours as you indicated will be consider as one unit so if you rent 8 hrs and return in 24 hrs late it could be charged 3 times. etc.DOUNGRAT E.

The manager was good but the vehicle had several malfunctions. Some not critical I suppose, like oil change overdue, tpms warning, but the really bad one was the cargo door open warning. Seeing that warning in a fully loaded vehicle on a freeway was extremely unsettling and scary. The vehicle needs to be serviced well.Nikhil P.

I rented a utility dolly but it never came. I paid for something I did not use. Not cool manHelen N.
The attendent at the location was so rude & disrespectful to me. My rental truck did not have the correct equipment I reserved when I picked it up. When I returned later to ask for the dolly & furniture pads which I had already paid for, the attendant told me that it was somehow MY fault that the equipment was not with the truck, and so I would not be receiving the 50 $â€œright equipment guaranteeâ€ displayed by the checkout counter. An all around terrible experience for which I was overcharged. Will be telling everyone I know to avoid this location whenever possible.Peter L.

The woman at the rental desk demonstrated some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I asked about the simple matter of returning the option of returning the van late vs extending my reservation by an hour or two, she told me the question was too complicated and told me I was so confusing that I should just call customer service. I asked about prices for the 2 options to see if it was worth it to extend the reservation, and she kept asking â€œdo you accept the chargeâ€ over and over, louder each time, with no explanation of different charges. She was dismissive when I first interacted with her in person, and she was very rude on the phone. When I first inquired about extending the reservation, she simply said â€œI'll call you backâ€ and hung up. I waited an hour and a half and called again, and then had the rude encounter.Casey S.

I checked in on the App to pick up my UHaul van and was blamed for messing their system up. App told me to go in to get a key only to find out my reservation had been given to somebody else. They told me I messed their system up by doing what the app and online system told me to do, then got me a new van but was 45 minutes behind on my reservation time. Come to find out a week later the original reservation was still not canceled and I ended up getting charged for TWO rentals even though I only had one van. Unbelievable.Brandon J.

The attendant took forever to process my reservation and gave me the runaround about not being able to help me since I had an afterhours reservation, even though their location is listed as not supporting 24/7 truck pickup which is why I came early. I know they have a hard job but they could be a bit more accommodating.MICHAEL B.
I made my reservation a week in advance and when I go there, neither the van or the other moving material I requested was available. Luckily, they had another truck that was a little bit larger than the one I had held, but it was their last car and was not part of my reservation. Then, there were issues initially getting the new truck for me. The whole check out process took about an hour. I will say, the employee working in the morning was very helpful in helping me find a car so I'd be able to move that day. When I went to return the truck, the woman at the counter didn't seem to have any sense of where the trucks were supposed to go and was not very helpful leading to confusion among ALL of the people trying to return U-Hauls. Not cheat people out of their money, this location charged for gas that was not used, also put in the wrong return mileage by adding 10 extra miles that was not used. When I picked up my truck I was told there were no moving blankets. That would've been nice to know in advance, since I was planning to use those to pack some large, delicate items. This had a huge negative impact on my move. The guy did not do a walkthrough of the truck, he just gave me the keys and walked away. Returning the truck was an absolute nightmare, as I was given no direction or information on how to do so. Maneuvering a truck around a very busy gas station is a recipe for disaster, and there is no clear place to park the truck. Me and 2 other Uhaul renters were trying to figure out where to park, and we all had to help each other get around the gas station and into a â€œparkingâ€ space. The process of returning my truck took 45 minutes and was hands down the most stressful part of my move. Additionally, I arrived at the Uhaul location at 9:05, and it took 45 minutes for me to get my truck, delaying my move. I never would have imagined that picking up a truck would take 45 minutes, and I've never experienced that at any other Uhaul location. The app was problematic, I had a prior balance for a parking ticket in 2004 I was never notified about (why not do this when I booked through my old account??) so when I went to pick up the truck I had to call in and waited 15 mins for customer service, then call back because app still not working. Finally able to check in and the app only flashed the equipment number which I was not able to find again, neither was the gas station manager, thank goodness he was there late to access U-Haul on his computer to get the information. Process took 1 hour. The Shell station manager and attendant were great, attendant even showed me how to operate truck, taking pictures and more. Highly recommend this location.Arlesha W.
This location is garbage! My reservation was 20 minutes late with no explanation as to why. When I later tried to return the vehicle I was running into problems with the app/website. Neither of the two employees I spoke to was willing to help me in any capacity, they in fact both started laughing at me when I said I was confused and needed help. Every single employee at this location was incredibly rude and unprofessional, which seems to fit in with the values of U-Haul. If I could give less than a one star review, I certainly would. I will definitely share this experience with anyone looking to use U-Haul in the future to discourage them from wasting their money on what was a wholly terrible rental experience.Phillip D.
