I was charged $25.00 insurance which I clearly stated I did not want. I called uhaul and they promised a call back about this additional charges, still no call back....still no refund. I feel this insurance issue is predatory, it has happened to me before where I opt out of the insurance and somehow still end up paying. Very disappointed in these practices and the failure to follow up on my phone call concerning this issue.

How could you possibly let one of your locations limit/reduce the 24 hour rental time period? Even if your internal controls are so lapse not to notice till this complaint the board must wonder about your competence. You require customers to use the app to make a reservation and no where on the app does it say what I was told. “Oh, we don’t allow you to rent for 24 hours at the end of the month”. The app gave 3 customers in line and myself and issue which resulted in a waste of time as the onsite rep had to take over the reservation from the system. The willingness of your board to sacrifice the client experience to save headcount by using technology is typical of large companies. I bet you large shareholders would not even rent from you. Van was clean but they did not have the add ons i had reserved (dolly, blankets) and did not warn me so I hadn’t procured elsewhere. They also over charged me adding extra miles to what I had actually driven. Would not go to this location again.

I ordered supplies and they did not have most of them. The moving pads were downright dirty. The returning experience was terrible while using the online feature. I was double charged on my card and the service was poor.

The van had no gasoline in it and I had to put gas myself. I was given a credit of $23. However, I had to wait for 30 minutes in line to get gas at the location. When I rent a car, I expect it to be ready to go when I arrive. Instead of 1:00pm, I did not leave the location before 2:00pm and arrive late at my meeting point.

Employ competent employees. My experience at this location was the worse. An employee by the name of Santana was very disrespectful. After she made an error, I tried correcting her and she became belligerent. She cursed at me in her language and throw my papers to the flood and stated she not helping; I should call customer service for help. The employee billed me over $200 instead of $60. And also billed me after hour fee to return the truck. Which I think is ridiculous. I could have checked it out myself but went in to check it out because it was still during open hours. I will never go back to this location. I use U-Haul a lot but this experience traumatizes me a bit. I just they fix this issue; return my money and get rid of that incompetent employee.

The van was great, and the in and out process was easy and smooth. BUT, I reserved a dolly - which was quite necessary for moving the furniture I hired the van for, and the flippant "we dont have one" almost wrecked the whole plan. If there's not one available, it should not be reservable...

The site listed this as a 24 hour drop off location. Instead of choosing a location near me, I chose this location for the 24 hour drop off advantage. It was NOT DISCLOSED on the site that a $20 "convenience fee" is charged by this location for 24 hour drop off and that an app must be used at the time of drop off to avoid this "convenience fee." This is unfair business dealing, I feel.

This location was horrible, they completely offered me a horrible experience: 1. I handed in my truck well before my time and they went and set my return date a day later, then they put charges for things that I have never even asked for. This is ridiculous. 2. I called customer service and they helped but I still need to wait 4 business days to get my money back and that’s only if the manger in customer service decides to approve my well deserved refund.

I did not get a 10" truck like I reserved. The truck had mechanical issues and couldn't be rented, there had no other option. I had to do 3 trips when I moved which inconvenienced me and made the move day extremely long.

the gentleman who worked for Uhaul Sunday Oct. 6th into the evening after office hours was very considerate, helpful, and went out of his way to help us with our return and so that we would not incur and additional charge for drop off. He was greatly appreciated and wanted to make note of his great customer service demeanor. ...The girl who checked the truck out in the morning at 9am however, was not the most helpful and seemed to only be there so she could say she showed up for work, and that was about it. And had an off putting attitude.

I reserved a dolley with the truck several days in advance of pickup. There was no dolley. The woman waiting on me was incredibly slow and my checkout took over 40 minutes. I had also called to confirm if I could return the truck at another Uhaul. When I got there, they said I had to bring the truck back to them which was a huge inconvenience. I would never go back there.
