The tires needed air and the gas tank wasn't full. The truck was clean.

Isaac PI booked a one way 10' Truck. Two days before my pickup I was informed I could not do a One Way trip. Then when I arrive I find out they removed the furniture blankets from my order because they didnt have any available. I booked this weeks in advance and they should have had time to order this for me. Overall a poor experience with UHAUL as a whole.

Arnold YThe manager at this location was very rude and did not understand mobile pickup policies. The van was blocked by other cars at the gas station and took an additional 30 mins to remove. The back of the van was dirty and covered in debris, dust, and dirt, which got our furniture dirty as well. The website is glitchy and wouldn't allow us to submit emergency contact information, we had to work with the support staff who didn't know what she was going. It's clear that people do not have a standard of high quality or care at this location and we were incredibly disappointed by our u-haul experience. The associate that helped us with drop off was very nice and kind, but our experience with other staff and overall experience was very poor outside of that.
Jacob LMy pick-up time was scheduled for 3 PM. I arrived a few minutes before my pick-up time, and the attendant was on lunch. I didn't receive the keys until 25 minutes after 3 PM. I did the check-in online and then I had to do it again.
Kyle T- The gas in the truck was completely empty, warning light on. I needed to put fuel in before being able to leave the lot, which was an inconvenience.

LAURA SI would recommend cleaning and giving maintenance to the units more often. We found trash inside, and the van was also filthy outside. I couldn't use the windshield wipers because it was out of washer fluid.
Mauricio VI rented truck and appliance dolly and only was the truck available; I was not informed the dolly was not available and I had to drive to the Grand Concourse one to rent the dolly. Not fair. I should get a discount.

Karla DThis is my preferred location in Manhattan and actually bypass other closer locations to rent from them. Staff is friendly, courteous and easy going. Equipment is always ready and well kept. They address any issues that come up immediately. Recently I was stuck in traffic and called them to say I'd be late in my pick up.. other places have handled this like it is a great inconvenience. This location however was very understand and happy to adjust the reservation. In upper Manhattan this is the best place to rent a U Haul from, in my opinion.

Juan H1) Your website and system for getting the car using cellphone are atrocious, completely unworkable. Even with my communicating multiple times over a week by email eith customer service, they didn't work. It would be worth finding another rental service due to that alone. 2) your listing of the hours of the location is inaccurate 3) what's the point of a supposed phone system when you have to go to the person at the counter to sign documents, show the credit card you used yo book the rental, and pick up keys? You have just added layers of complexity, beaurocracy, and delay.

Sonia HTerrible customer service. The guy running this place took lunch. Left no sign. There was no forewarning the location closed for lunch at a certain time. I returned the truck at the time I had confirmed and he wouldn't help me and was very rude. Told me I had to wait till he finished his lunch. Wouldn't tell me how long. Then ran into a back office and locked the door. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
