Samuel CMake sure the vehicle is in fact road ready! It's U-Hauls vehicle and one would think U-Haul would want the tires inflated properly before the customer starts driving it! All 4 tires were around 50 to 60 PSI and the label on the fender says they should be at 80 PSI. Bad very bad!

James SI reserved a truck in Boone, NC close to where it was going to be used. I would have traveled maybe 10 miles total completing the move and including traveling to and from the pick up location. Instead, I received a call from West Jefferson, 28 miles away telling me the truck was there, not in Boone. Ultimately, causing me to have to pay for 55 miles of travel UP FRONT at 0,99 cents a mile when I was planning on 10 miles at best. Then, I was told the truck had to be returned to West Jefferson as well that I couldn't take it back to Boone location. Just unacceptable. This coming from the same company that charged me for 1/10 of a mile last year when the truck was returned over the allotted miles But in reality, it wasn't. It was returned right on the number exactly because I was kind of surprised that it was exact. The additional 1/10 came from them moving it in the yard then had the audacity to charge my card for it. Bad business practice. If you reserve a truck in a location, the truck should be at that location for pick up. And even if it can't be, the customer should not be penalized because it isn't. When you screw up, you should just admit it and make it right. Not screw your customer.
Jacob MI have rented equipment here multiple times and the staff is friendly and always willing to help with any questions or issues. I will be renting from them again.

Jeff RWhen I picked up the truck, the left front tire was 20psi and the check engine light was on. I stopped and filled the tire up with air. The truck was also filthy inside and out.

Johnny VWork on modernizing your fleet. I rented a Penske truck a week before that had cruise control, manual shifting for low gear (on an automatic transmission), and USB connections for audio and phone charging (not an Aux jack - that technology has passed). Also their pricing is better. At least you didn't try to screw me over this time.

Melissa LWe somehow got misquoted. I spoke to the lady at the uhaul place on 163 on Thursday the 8th and she told us our bill so far was $120 when I went to return the truck on Monday the bill was $600 plus. I cried. I didn't realize they charged $30 everyday for insurance also we would have had it turned in on Saturday if I had know there was a drop box. This put us in one heck of a financial crunch.

keith lWhile this location was great, when I went to the original pickup place it was terrible- he didn't even have the equipment I rented. Then I had trouble reaching someone to get assistance. I was over an hour late getting started. I will NOT use uhaul in the future if I have another choice!
