Tank was almost empty (I took a picture a mile off the site of the gas tank gage for proof). When I turned the cabin air on, it blew dust and debris from the vents as if it hasn't been driven in months, windshield was extremely dirty. No trailer interior lighting, and no pull out ramp which made loading and unloading very unsafe. The check out person who rented it to me was very nice and helpful, however his clerk inside the facility while I waited was rude and condescending.
BRUCE DIt would be nice if the uhaul was always filled with gas instead of empty so I can get to my location without having to fill up first then after. The road to park it was hard but manageable.

JAEHWAN KThe drop-off was closer to our home (the towing destination), but it's in an odd location in our town, and the "parking lot" is actually the dirt on one side of the road across from their used car dealership. I had to stop in the middle of the street so my wife and I could un-hitch and push the trailer off the road to "park" it. Then the person who told us to put the trailer in that spot didn't have a computer or any mechanism to "check me in," and document our return of the equipment, which we did one day earlier than our original 4-day reservation. This made me very uncomfortable until I received the email confirming our return, about 24 hours later. That just didn't sit right with me.

IGNACIO OIt was not clear where to leave the trailer when I dropped off. There were other trailers parked on the side of the road so I parked it on the side of the road.
CHRISTINA HThey were not good at all they would not try to help you at all. They would take other people ahead of you.
SHILPA MThe problems I experienced with U-Haul were not related to the individual locations. My experience was poor overall with U-Haul itself. Scheduling changes, deleting items from the contract, further scheduling changes, unwarranted billing charges, constant changes in pick-up/drop-off locations, not having items I requested on hand at time of rental. The list goes on and on and on and on. Phone calls that were redirected multiple times - "I'm sorry, we can't help you with that, you must speak to so and so at this office." It was a complete circus and the individuals that run the locations were unable to assist in anyway due to the way that U-Haul operates. I don't hold the location owners at fault. I hold U-Haul at fault. This was the most stressful and most convoluted moving experience ever. I still have not received a credit for overbilled miles that I was told would be taken care of at the time of check out (after being on the phone over an hour with 2 different individuals).
