Self check in was not convenient this time. I ended up having to go into store and meet with an associate. There was a struggle verifying my identity even though I had done the same process with you before. It delayed me getting the vehicle about 40 mins. The associate was very apologetic and was great to work with.David V.
Charged me for 24 furniture blankets that were neatly folded and stored on the moms attic in back of uhaul. Went back to drop off location after receiving a notice from credit card company of additional charge within an hour after drop off and was told they missed seeing storage pads and could not reverse charge at their location and I would need to contact uhaul customer service. Waited on hold for 30 minutes for uhaul to answer and another 30 minutes for rep to attempt to call drop off location to confirm they had received pads . Rep was unable to talk to the store manager and confirm and told me they would submit a request to have store manager call me. Total bs on how this is being handled. I have disputed this additional charge and if pictures are needed I have them of pads being left in uhaul. Sing budget or hertz on next rental.ROGER E.

The clerk was having technical difficulties with his tablet. It wasn't connecting. Upgrade your software to use only 1 device for transactions instead of having to do certain things on the tablet then finishing up the transaction on the register. It doesn't make sense to have to use several devices to complete one transaction for a customer.Sandra S.

When I arrived it was pouring rain. I was on a tight schedule. As I left the windshield wipes was acting up. I went back into the store to get a replacement truck and was told they didn't have another that I could have for a 24 hour period. I could have it until close of business that day since they had a reservation for the next day in the other truck and offered to send me to a different location. I was utterly confused as to why they couldn't get another truck for the person the next morning. But did not have time to argue. After killing our selves we were able to get the truck back on time. But I was offered no recourse or discount for not using the truck the entire 24 hours. There was a 50 $guarantee that my vehicle would be there.Merrie M.

I took a picture before and after we used the uhaul. We filled up the tank to the max, and then we returned it. When I returned it, the guy said everything looks good and then I went home. Then later today, I see that I was charged 22 $extra for gas when we literally filled it up to the max (not like the top off people try to do before they return their car). I called in to ask if anyone rented the truck after us because I can show proof of our gas station transaction during the time we rented it for and the picture of the mileage before and after, and the guy said that it doesn't matter what we have because they emailed us a thing that said we had to fill up the gas all the way. And I was like. Dude we did. So how is it possible I owe another 22 $for filling up three gallons, when I'm so sure we filled it until it clicked? He said the only thing I can do is to visit the store tomorrow and tell them my story and that he won't be there. I feel like I shouldn't complain about 22 $but the principle is that we did everything correctly, and we were scammed out money because of it. Will still go tomorrow to ask them about it, but I don't feel hopeful for some reason. : (Trang H.
I have rented several times here with no issues. This time the uhual overheated and was pegged hot. Luckily I was at a place I could allow the truck to cool. Opened the radiator cap and radiator was only about 1/4 full. I still was far away from dropping off the truck so had to drive with no A.C. Yesterday was 110 out. So overall bad experience this time. Would be nice to get some type of compensationJeff C.

I ordered a truck to be picked up by the 24/7 service and it was incorrectly submitted despite speaking to a UHaul rep twice. When I recieved my bill it was incorrectly tabulated. VERY disappointed in service! MySusan S.

I would recommend not starting the rental time until after the keys and rental questions and pictures have been received. I wasn't able to drive off with the rental until 20mins after my appointment and had to call u-haul to adjust my return time.Chalnsey P.

Information stated it was available for 24/7 truck share - scheduled it for 830 pick up - wasn't able to process everything until after the person inside was able to around 915 and caused me to be late for a pickup and incur a fee.Christopher J.
Well for starters I would have the rental that the customer was expecting when they are supposed to pick up , and if the reservation that was promised wasn't available for whatever reason, I would do whatever I possibly could to make sure that customer got what he needed, even if that meant delivering the vehicle to them or taking them wherever they need to be to in order to make it right and get them what we promised. Even if that means leaving my post or taking time out of my schedule. Basically the opposite of everything you did for me when renting me a van that had already been rented out. Worst experience ever, and at one point I was actually in tears ...a grown ass man with tears of frustration and feeling of abandonment.jt M.

The front Customer Service desk, in the store itself, should help the Uhaul gentleman with answering the Uhaul phone. He is excellent representative for Uhaul but seems to be spread a little too thin, especially with the size of the main store! Otherwise, outstanding service from a very cordial and welcoming individual whose name I have forgotten. (Lots of arm tattoos)ANDREW W.

The mobile check in/pick up process was awful. It took about 40 minutes. The app kept saying I didn't have any data connection (I know this area well, I don't believe this to be true) and would just sit there and spin. I wish I had picked it up the prior night. Big delay on my day.Josh G.

I preordered on-line because Your website says it saves time. When I went to go rent the truck the order was put in completely new. I even had a different confirmation number. Even after I told the guy I had pre-arrange the rental. I got an email from U-Haul stating I did not pick up the truck so my first confirmation was canceled. It took forever to rent a truck. Then the guy left off my insurance, and the dolly. What good does it do the pre-rent if they're going to dismiss the order and not put on the extras that I asked for? I return the truck seven hours early with no credit. Took three guys to check the truck back in. Just lost. The manager was very rude. What a jerk. It seems like Pinske is the way to go. Doesn't do any good to rent online or pre-fill out the order. Just a waste of time. I'm am not happy with this U-haul experience.Quinten T.
