The app didn't work, nore during chech-in, or dropping back the vehicle. There was delay in updating the info. The text the nice lady in the office was trying to send for confirmation and check in steps was received 3 hours after. the same for the vehicule verification. It was a huge frustration that added unnecessarily stress to my day. So disappointed.

No one was there for the drop off two hours before they closed. The pick up place was out in the middle of nowhere and I got charged 2 dollars for the extra 2 miles even though I returned it with more gas then I got it with. I should have just paid a friend to use his truck

Ricardo GBarbara was a great help from the very beginning in helping me obtain both a Uhual truck and storage. Our belongings were only there one month but in that month we did a few visits and no complaints. Clean and secure, would recommend.

Upon checking in they informed me the truck wasn't available and they had no others available. I found sierra u haul. Thank God for them! With out them I couldn't have moved. Never going through u haul on MLK again!

BOBBIE MWent to drop off the rental, knocked on the door, no answer, called the locations number, no answer, waited 45 minutes outside after several attempts to call, no answer. Had to call initial pick up location and have them help me with the return through the uhaul app that I had to download. Poor communication at this location.
SOPHAL PI needed a truck last minute and Barbra did an excellent job at getting one for me. It was quick and easy and well priced. I highly recommend.

REBECCA BIt would be helpful if the rental was attached to an app where the customer could keep track of his or her day to day charges. As this rental is not able to be viewed from the U Haul app which customers do enjoy using, do to its simplicity and transparencies.
christopher wMy reservation was made 2 weeks in advance for a different location (1247 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Merced) for pick-up & drop-off which is located within a 10 mins walking distance from my home. On the day of pick-up reservation you relocated me to the pick-up location at 2785 N. Sante Fe Ave, Merced which is 3,8 miles from my home. It takes approximately over an hour to walk to. I was forced to find a last minute ride who would be available to drive me to my pick-up location and drop-off due to the long distance from my point of origin.. If I had taken an Uber or Lyft, for not being able to find an available friend. U-Haul should foot the bill. Penalizing a customer by relocating their original pick-up/drop-off locations for having an early rental request is very poor customer service. The one Good thing: The woman who runs the 2785 N. Sante Fe Ave, Merced office provides excellent customer service. She was very accommodating and helpful.

Tina RWill never use a U-Haul at this location again. Went to drop off my vehicle when they said they would be open and the office was closed, they did not instruct me on how to close out the vehicle and nobody would answer the phone. Very unprofessional and I will never use them ever again.

Doug SI initially tried to return my truck at 4pm on Monday afternoon (during normal business hours) only to find a closed for the day sign on the office door. I returned it a day early because I did NOT feel comfortable just leaving the truck on the street on Tuesday morning before they opened which the location instructed me to do. After speaking with Uhaul representatives, I was advised to download the app and photograph the process before leaving the vehicle which is something I was not informed of by the location staff.
Jeffrey AWhen we went to pick up the truck the truck wasn't even there the person who had it hadn't even brought it back in so we had to leave and wait for a phone call because a truck was still like an half an hour away if not more and when we did pick the truck up it had a marijuana smell in it.

This doesn't make sense, if you want it back full, give it to me full. Ripping off customers for a few dollars isn't good business. I will go with Penske next time
