App is as not easy to use at all!!! Kept hanging up and took for ever to get through pick up process. Did not receive any instructions on what to do with key upon return. Spent 20 minutes trying to get that information after a long day of moving. Very frustrating.

Tell the customer that there is not a large visible Uhaul sign in the parking lot. The trucks are located in the back alley way of the shopping center. The business is closed until November 6 so there is no one there to assist in person.

I usually don’t do reviews but this one warrants one. I wanted to do an in-person (“at the counter” ) rental procedure; but since no one was at the place of business, I had to call Customer Service to help me manage my appointment. I could see supplies in the window that I could have rented but alas, no. The appointment was changed to a Mobile pickup by this merchant and that required me to download the app (one more that I didn’t want.) The app was easy enough to use but I lost about an hour trying to get my rental and even the Customer Service rep couldn’t get the merchant on the phone to remedy the situation or even to move my appointment elsewhere. The area behind the shop (where the trucks are) is not well lit so it’s better to go during the day. The merchant should be labeled as a Mobile Pick up/drop off Only as the hours of operation are not followed. The merchant should update their contact info with U-Haul so issues can be resolved more effectively. I did not call the phone number posted on the door to contact “in case if emergency” because the definition of emergency does not fit just showing up for work during posted hours of operation. As for the truck, it was fueled and clean. The app was okay to use but requires a second contact person to truly answer a call to complete the order. That means my wife couldn’t take a well deserved nap after being up since 4am. Good luck if you choose this one. As long as you know you’re on your own, you’ll be fine. Now that I know what to expect, I might use this place again because of proximity and convenience; however, I can’t recommend using this place if one needs a person for assistance.

I left all the furniture pads in the truck and location said he did not find the furniture pads. He told me on the phone he rented me ten , but the invoice/receipt shoes that he charged me for six. Which was it, six or ten? I call nonsense on his two different claims. I folded the furniture pads and placed them in the truck and that a fact. Additionally, how was I charged 70 dollars for six pads? This all screams nonsense. Please refund my money.

I reserved a truck which was supposed to be at Frisco Tx. I received a phone call and I was told that they have one in another location (2560 Kathryn Ln, Plano, TX 75025). This was increasing my mileage and the lady on the phone told me that she will give me credit for 8 miles. Then I received an email and my truck was waiting for me at 2040 W Spring Creek Pkwy Ste 142, Plano, TX 75023. This was done without my consent but I didn't want to make a big deal as location was OK. I went there to pick up the truck. It was hard to find the place as it is a print shop and the sign was very small. The guy was friendly but he could not find a note for the 8 miles credit. I called the number that called me the day before and I talked to another person. He didn't know who that lady was and he said they do not give such credits for in town moves. I am not after $8 but I must say this was a pretty messed up experience. Changing the pick up location twice without my consent and tricking me by offering credit to convince for change of location... a unique experience!!!

Never let that man at the uhaul rental place rent uhaul vehicles. He was rude and not taking responsibility for sending me off in a filthy van that had been smoked in as well as being left dirty from the previous customer.

I told the agent I have a $45 certificate I want to use, he does not want to take time to call nobody to enter it on the system. I ended up paying full price even I have a UHAUL corporate certificate. At the beginning of the rental, I already specifically mentioned it. 1 thing blow up my satisfaction, inexperience agent not to call anyone to ask for help to assist customer further until it is too late. This is putting UHAUL at last of my option, period.

It was a little difficult to find the store in the strip mall, but I called and the owner ran out from the shop and guided me to the trailer drop off behind the store. He was very friendly and the drop off was very smooth.
