Small site but no problems

My card was charged twice. And I was charged for equipment that I didn’t get. I wanted the equipment but it was not provided to me. Very poor experienced.

No utility dolly was in the truck that we purchased online so we had to turn around and go back. Once we arrived the location did not even have a utility dolly available. We were still charged for it. 19.99 for in town is what they advertise. But when it was all said and done it was 88 dollars. Just FYI before you proceed. This was a van with a supposed dolly and all we did was pick up a dryer and take it home then bring the van back. Delivery from Best Buy was free at a later date but we needed the dryer today.

We are pretty sure the 20 foot truck we paid for was actually a 17 foot truck. We measured when we got home, when we brought that concern up with the employee working, we were completely dismissed. The store was not open during open hours, so ensuring the truck was returned properly was out of the question (I made sure to make it back before they closed to go over everything). We were charged for a few extra miles that we did not use. We used 2.9 miles and were charged for a full 5. I'm not upset about the 2 dollars, just the principal of it. If they will nickel and dime us, they will nickel and dime everyone.

I was booked to drop off at 8 am by uhaul at this location , but the office opens only at 8:30. What was I booked from 8 am return, doesnt make any sense. Not the fault of the return location, it's a poor planning from uhaul scheduling team

My reservation was changed minutes before my schedule pick-up to this new location. That added time and miles to my rental. The furniture dolly that I reserved was unavailable at this location, so I had to carry thing I would have rather rolled. I don't know why my rental was moved from the large facility to this small place. It was a highly unsatisfactory experience. Also the the truck see it designed for a 5' person and I am 6'4" - very uncomfortable. Really glad this was a short-term rental.

Truck was dirty. Ashray was full of butts and I’m a non smoker. Not enough blankets were available for what I requested. Checked in on line and had to complete check in at pick up again. A waste of time.

App is as not easy to use at all!!! Kept hanging up and took for ever to get through pick up process. Did not receive any instructions on what to do with key upon return. Spent 20 minutes trying to get that information after a long day of moving. Very frustrating.

Tell the customer that there is not a large visible Uhaul sign in the parking lot. The trucks are located in the back alley way of the shopping center. The business is closed until November 6 so there is no one there to assist in person.

I usually don’t do reviews but this one warrants one. I wanted to do an in-person (“at the counter” ) rental procedure; but since no one was at the place of business, I had to call Customer Service to help me manage my appointment. I could see supplies in the window that I could have rented but alas, no. The appointment was changed to a Mobile pickup by this merchant and that required me to download the app (one more that I didn’t want.) The app was easy enough to use but I lost about an hour trying to get my rental and even the Customer Service rep couldn’t get the merchant on the phone to remedy the situation or even to move my appointment elsewhere. The area behind the shop (where the trucks are) is not well lit so it’s better to go during the day. The merchant should be labeled as a Mobile Pick up/drop off Only as the hours of operation are not followed. The merchant should update their contact info with U-Haul so issues can be resolved more effectively. I did not call the phone number posted on the door to contact “in case if emergency” because the definition of emergency does not fit just showing up for work during posted hours of operation. As for the truck, it was fueled and clean. The app was okay to use but requires a second contact person to truly answer a call to complete the order. That means my wife couldn’t take a well deserved nap after being up since 4am. Good luck if you choose this one. As long as you know you’re on your own, you’ll be fine. Now that I know what to expect, I might use this place again because of proximity and convenience; however, I can’t recommend using this place if one needs a person for assistance.
