They are close to home, but not on the internet for location.

One recommendation would be the Auto Hauler. The front ratchet tie downs. Need to be improved. Some way of locking the ratchets in place would be recommended. I was taught to check your load tie downs frequently. I was finding that the ratchets were working out of line and the webbing strap across centre of the tire had worked to the. Side not holding the load. If I had not checked the tie downs wee might have had problems.

The gentleman running this location overcharged me and was extremely rude in his customer service, blaming me for not choosing damage coverage and insisting that I owed him $21 of gas money despite only travelling 14 km in the van. I took advantage of the $19,95 U-Haul rental deal and was charged approximately $62 instead

I've used U-Haul alot and I have always had excellent customer service and the prices have sometimes been quite high but for the most part reasonable. This last rental was a trailer and online it quoted me $350 so I called to make the reservation. On the phone they were going to charge me $450. I explained what I was quoted online and she worked with me and said she could discount the rental and I'd only pay $382. I reserved the rental and gave my credit card for a hold. I went to check my email before I picked up the trailer and I didn't receive any of my paperwork. I then called and customer service gave me the location to pick it up and stated that my email was never entered. I arrived to pick up the trailer and was then told, I owed $515. I now have to wait 72 hours while they listen to all my interactions with customer service. With my move, this has added more stress then I already had. My budget was set and I didn't have the extra to lose. This has been very frustrating.

The truck rented could have easily caused my death. Driving on the highway at 90 kpm and the rear brakes suddenly engage on their own causing the back wheels to lock up. This happened 5 times throughout the day. This vehicle is not fit to be on the road. Someone is going to die if this vehicle is not pulled off and fixed or disposed of. I told the location manager and he claimed Uhaul had been notified numerous times but they claim there is nothing wrong with the truck. I can assure you there is something seriously wrong with that truck and would encourage maintenance to call me and I will explain directly to them. 416-716-2845

When I booked my rental I requested no extra insurance and during the checkin the agent added in anticipated mileage which was confusing to me. I was my fault but I believe business practice to include insurance is probably company policy. Regarless I didn't realize until I reviewed my bill at home that I realized the $15's were added. I know it was my responsibility to check but I still feel cheated and I doubt I will use your services again. I would appreciate a response to this at dshapka@me.com

Organize where the uhaul trucks are parked. The vehicle that (15' cube) i rented was burried behind a 20' cube and both sides are blocked as well. I had to get the truck in front of me moved before i could get out. Not a big deal with me as i am not in a rush but could be for some other costumers.

I didnt expect this too much trouble , hustle and bad experience thru this renting company. From the very start until I finished the whole rent they always have occur problem !! First , we go to the store to pick up a rented CARGO VAN. As we checked and start the cargo van the engine was so loud and we know thats not normal .. so we told the guy from store that theres something wrong about the car , he then told us No there nothing wrong coz I drive it there myself , then I told him that “there is a problem “ he then take like 4-5mins to check the car ! (Waste time of time ) then as he checked he finally believe us ! Then He told me to wait he will call the u haul hotline . We are waiting for 10-15 mins if what should we do ?? Also it comes to the point that I told him just to call someone or other store that has the cargo van coz thats what we needed . He's not responding yet entertaining other people who's buying from his store . He dont give any solution ! Yet suggesting to get the 15” truck . (My driver cant drive that one ) But lucky us bcoz the other customer who also booked a rented truck didnt go thru with their transaction . So I told the guy right away that if they're not getting that pick up truck we go take it coz my driver dont know how to drive a 15” truck ! I was so disappointed coz we were expecting for Cargo VAN not this pick up ! Because its small !! We have no choice ! Guy is not giving us any choice ! What can I do right ?! So we took three trips because we did get a smaller truck!! Last and foremost when we are about to return the pick up we did arrive to their parking lot !!! It did get stuck! Coz the ice out there was so thick ! We call u haul for help coz we barely move the pick up ! The first one I've talk to from u haul told us that we can leave it their because its in their own parking area !! And leave key to the corresponding box area . Then when we are about to go home , I informed the guy from store about the truck but he stop us !! And threatening us !!! The whole time !!! I told him I called U haul and they told us its ok to leave it just make sure key is their !!but this guy from store don't care really at all wasting all our time !!! He want us to push the truck and its not safe coz the parking area has lot of block ice !!! We are 2 girls and 1 guy!!! He keep threatening us about being charge again if we don't help him !!! All thru out!!! He don't want us to go !! Like we have something too important matter !!! He hold us for 20-35mins and threatening us the whole time !!! Plus we start the rent soooo late !!! Because of your truck problem !!!

The rental took 15 minutes to process at the site and the store employees/owners did not seem to know what they were doing. At one point the employee took my license and appeared to take pictures of it on their personal phone despite me having already uploaded a picture of the front of my license and scanned the back on my own phone. Also, I was in a rush (since the rental process was taking a long time) and as a result I did not check the contract carefully. If I had I would have seen that the rental was for 3 hours when I had made the reservation for 4 hours.

The vehicles seemed well maintained save for the vehicle I ordered had a flat tire. The change over to a new vehicle wasn't straightforward and the hell online and on the phone couldn't do much for me. Thankfully the manager of the store I was at could help out after he was called in, but prior to that I was nearly left in a lurch. I'm still not sure if I've been charged for the vehicle I didn't get. Time will tell, but I didn't expect such a hassle when I booked and to have to be on top of making sure my booking change went through properly and that I won't be charged for the original booking… and that I won't be overcharged by the vehicle change.

Scheduled the pick up at a neighborhood location for 9:30 AM as they open at 9:00 AM. But when I arrived the store was closed! The shop owner didn't arrive until almost 10. The interior of the cab was dirty with old spilled coffee. The vehicle felt like it needed a tune up and the gear shift sounded like it was going to break shifting from Park to Drive.

Charge them the correct amount. I believe that I was charged in miles rather than KM. So instead of being charged for 220km at 0,99 we were charged 220 miles at 1.59.

The owner of the store showed up an hour late, I was waiting from 7am to 8am, he was rude and not helpful. Also I was overcharged. Never experienced this before.

For one im being over billed i believe , 228 dollars , why its that high i have no idea. And the man at the store , I had not even had the vehicle for more than 12 hours and when I come back to the area to get something from my car , the guy from the store WITHOUT ASKING , tried to open up the back of the truck trying to "inspect" it . It was a violation of privacy , this man had no right , reason, nothing , to come up to the vehicle and try to open up the back to see whats inside. He did not have our permission and I'm very upset. And now I have to pay this large bill after having this man almost violate my privacy and my personal belongings? Also , in the instructions to get the keys , the instructions said they were in a box outside. The guy in the store actually has the keys , behind the counter. So I couldn't go to the box with the password to retrieve my key, like the instructions said , I had to go in the store and get it from the person from behind the counter. Also I'm pretty damn sure that when he came out and tried to open the back of the truck without our consent or knowledge (we found out he was trying to open it because we could hear the noises at the back of someone trying to open it) my friend and I are like 98 percent sure that the liquid beverage he had in his hand , was infact alcohol. The way he was talking , slurring, balance was slightly off and then tries to open our door without any form of consent ? I ordered online, so I can drop it off .online. if we were dropping it off , he would not need to be out there with us checking the vehicle. Clearly he thought he did have to . I'm very very angry and upset with this experience and I think that this company gives you guys a bad name especially if I don't get compensated for the shit show that has happened here.

Pleasantly surprised with my overall experience. The vehicle was clean and worked well . The site is attached to a small store which makes it convenient for early or late pickups. Staff at the site was friendly, patience and answered all my questions. Mobile pick up and drop off also made everything go quickly

I would recommend, yes & no: I had to redo all what I did online in person, also I had to put an extra 25 km because I had to return the van to the same location. I think this is absurd but I was exhausted of moving stuff to my new apartment...

This location is awful. They took forever to get things figured out in the computer to let me take the truck as they had a crying baby who was sitting in poop and there young son trying to assist me. Once I had the truck the man was calling me when I extended the rental trying to get money out of me on the side as he said U-Haul didn't care that he lost out on money. When I dropped the truck off he abruptly took the keys from me and didn't allow me to check out the truck with my phone and told me he had it. I then realized the next day he had waited overnight to actually check in the truck so I was charged another day! I will never go through this location again!

Equipment missing from reservation (both utility dollies). Staff sent me to another location to get a dolly and location did not have any. Staff input my husband Stephens name for an additional driver as “Stacy”. This was noticed by staff at the other location. It took me over an hour to drive and get dollies for this. Not impressed by this location and not the service or representation you would expect from uhaul.

Renting from this location was a thoroughly wonderful experience. Very very nice gentleman we dealt with. He was attentive, made sure I knew everything in the contract. I wish I needed to deal with this business more often!
