The bed was so dirty it took me 2 hours just to clean it. 4 sweeps and 3 mops just to get it clean enough to but my possessions in it.
Nathan HThe staff at the counter were extremely friendly and helpful. It was pain-free. My only concern was the cleanliness of the van. The front cab had wrappers and other garbage on the inside (nothing major but enough to notice) and the back cab had items strewn about the back. Again, nothing major, but enough to have to clean up before moving our items into the van.

I was not able to take a picture to verify anything, so the store owner had to take pictures of my drivers license, me and everything else. He was very good about it, but it wasted a lot of my time. You should really look at that system to see why it's incompatible. My phone is an iPhone XR.
bonnie bCheck in took over 20 mins, the uHaul truck was very dirty inside and out, and the parking lot was packed with cars upon our return and we had to keep circling the area for over 15 mins before a parking spot became available.

David GThis was not the location I booked through UHaul. I booked a cargo van at the Dollar Tree location and was VERY worried and upset to find that they don't offer that type of vehicle. I was never contacted by UHaul to change my booking, as is your commitment to do so. I am really disappointed that today was so stressful. It was only through luck and people being kind to me that another option was found.
Lisa FIn the winter time it's important to bang on the hood of the vehicles. Had I don't that I would have saved a kitten from being injured. I started the van and heard this noise coming from under the hood. I shut the vehicle off, opened the hood and saw a kitten laying on the snow covered ground. I was able to get to her once I moved the van; took her to the nearest vet hospital and instead of taking her to the animal shelter I found a home for her. Thankfully, it all worked out. The owner of this uhaul location was very understanding as I had used 2,5hrs of my van rental dealing with the cat. He extended my van rental at no charge.

Clayton SOne recommendation would be the Auto Hauler. The front ratchet tie downs. Need to be improved. Some way of locking the ratchets in place would be recommended. I was taught to check your load tie downs frequently. I was finding that the ratchets were working out of line and the webbing strap across centre of the tire had worked to the. Side not holding the load. If I had not checked the tie downs wee might have had problems.

I took advantage of the $19,95 U-Haul rental deal and was charged approximately $62 instead

Makele GI've used U-Haul alot and I have always had excellent customer service and the prices have sometimes been quite high but for the most part reasonable. This last rental was a trailer and online it quoted me $350 so I called to make the reservation. On the phone they were going to charge me $450. I explained what I was quoted online and she worked with me and said she could discount the rental and I'd only pay $382. I reserved the rental and gave my credit card for a hold. I went to check my email before I picked up the trailer and I didn't receive any of my paperwork. I then called and customer service gave me the location to pick it up and stated that my email was never entered. I arrived to pick up the trailer and was then told, I owed $515. I now have to wait 72 hours while they listen to all my interactions with customer service. With my move, this has added more stress then I already had. My budget was set and I didn't have the extra to lose. This has been very frustrating.

justin wThe truck rented could have easily caused my death. Driving on the highway at 90 kpm and the rear brakes suddenly engage on their own causing the back wheels to lock up. This happened 5 times throughout the day. This vehicle is not fit to be on the road. Someone is going to die if this vehicle is not pulled off and fixed or disposed of. I told the location manager and he claimed Uhaul had been notified numerous times but they claim there is nothing wrong with the truck. I can assure you there is something seriously wrong with that truck and would encourage maintenance to call me and I will explain directly to them. 416-716-2845

Cheryl GWhen I booked my rental I requested no extra insurance and during the checkin the agent added in anticipated mileage which was confusing to me. I was my fault but I believe business practice to include insurance is probably company policy. Regarless I didn't realize until I reviewed my bill at home that I realized the $15's were added. I know it was my responsibility to check but I still feel cheated and I doubt I will use your services again. I would appreciate a response to this at dshapka@me.com
