Uhaul truck was a little over 3/4, they marked as a full tank as I rented out. Returned the tank with 7/8 of the gas tank and they marked as a 5/8 ( stealing 1/4 tank of gas, with what they charged an extra 68 dll? even that I returned with more gas of what I actually rented..This place is a Scam.HECTOR A.

The staff onsite was blindsided by the fact that I had checked in through the app and was asking for a key. The "skip the line" idea was lost on them and they acted a bit put out when I asked for the key.John W.

The female attendant greeted me with a smile and was very courteous and professional. However, my experience was completely opposite on the return leg. I arrived at the prescribed 10:30 am hour for the truck turn-in and no one was there, even though the sign on the door indicated the attendant would be right back.The time noted on the sign had already expired and no one was in sight. I dropped the key in the drop box and left. At 5:25 pm I received an email stating that I returned the truck after 5 pm and was charged an additional day of insurance and the daily rate. I tried calling the office, but no one was available to answer my query. The next morning I visited the store and met the first attendant who attempted to resolve the matter, but wanted me to do the negotiation by calling a separate individual. I stated that the issue was on UHaul because I followed all rules by returning the truck on-time, with more gas than required. She agreed to call the office and stated that someone will review my case and reimburse me for the overcharge. To date, I've received an email stating that my credit card will be reimbursed, but it has not taken effect as yet. I'm very disappointed at the dishonesty of the attendant who lied about my returning the truck after 5 pm. I believe that employee should be fired or at least disciplined for their unprofessionalism. Due to the stress I endured, I would not use this business or recommend it to any family member or friend in the future.Tyrone G.

Truck floor board had a lot of dried mud all over. Cab had not been vacuumed out in a while. Driver side window door handle broken off. Front door to office was locked even though hours said open 30 minutes earlier. Friendly staff member.Mark R.

Not much this location is excellent however every U-Haul I've been to in the last three years the people working behind the desk have had issues with your computer system and it often takes 40 to 50 minutes for them to work through the paperwork to check in. Perhaps thought should be given down the line to revamping your system so it's more easy for your people to understand and get through just a suggestion but this location is as good as I've ever been to is not the best and I've moved many times in my 65 years best regards Frank homeFrank H.

Very disappointed customer - do not recommend. I was able to pick up the vehicle I requested on time. I was disappointed to be informed that the hand truck/dolly I also ordered was not available. I placed my order a week in advance but no attempt was made to obtain one. When I asked if it was possible to get one from a different location I was informed that I could possibly rent one at Home Depot. Very disappointing - not to mention I was paying for miles so this option would have been not only inconvenient, but costly, too. I returned the truck clean and appropriately filled with gas. I noted the mileage when I parked it at 91222. The starting mileage had been 91123 so I expected to be billed for about 100 miles. I was surprised and dismayed to be charged for 175 miles, resulting in a bill that was more than $100 over what it should have been. I tried calling but could find no phone number for the location so I emailed asking for someone to call me to review the billing. No response. Two days later I sent another emailing expressing my disappointment at the lack of response. Two days later I received an email from â€œJay, AFM for this routeâ€ saying he would look into this matter and get back to me. That was a week ago - no update. I imagine I'm out my $100 at this point. Definitely will not use U-Haul again.Patty S.

I returned the keys to the employee behind the desk and he informed me that he would get everything taken care of and that I was good to leave. I should have stayed and made sure he got it checked in correctly, as I was called the next day by a Uhaul representative asking if I was going to be returning the truck. **He didn't check the truck back in like he said he would!** The Uhaul representative contacted Sound Storage and they confirmed the truck was checked back in, however my receipt showed that they needed to fill the tank from 3/4 tank, EVEN THOUGH I RETURNED IT FULL!!! Because I did not stay until the person behind the desk checked the truck in, and I did not take a picture of the fuel gauge (learned my lesson!) no one was able to refund my card the cost of fuel was was "missing." Customer service at Sound Storage was very nice and professional, however when we first started the online reservation the u-haul site stated the vehicle we were registering was available 6 minutes away....within a few minutes of completing online reservation, we received a call stating their site was mistaken and the vehicle I already reserved wasn't available 6 minutes away but 25 minutes away-- which would have burned into our mileage thus making more money for u-haul by driving farther at their $1,39 a mile charge. After going back and forth, we settled for a 10ft vehicle that was 6 minutes away since we had to get our job done, we showed up at 10 am as guaranteed-- .... surprise surprise surprise--- their system was down. No call to let us know , no email to notify us, no text, nothing ! While standing there another bomb shell was dropped on us -- it won't be $19,95 as advertised all over their site and vehicles and by the quote we received but a whopping $ 29,95 since it was a Sunday, really didn't appreciate the attempted bait and switch tactic or " recent upcharge for the weekend" that I couldn't find anywhere on their site . My biggest advice when dealing with U-haul--- get everything in writing, document date-time- and who you were talking with, take pictures of the entire vehicle inside and out before driving away. Don't leave without a receipt, the manager wanted us to just leave the keys and he'll look over the vehicle later and email us a receipt--- nope nada not going to happen. The vehicle had a malfunction with fueling. It would keep shutting the pump every 1 second. It took us more than 30 minutes to fill a 3/4 tank. We tried four different pumps so we know that the malfunction is in the truck itself. I would guess that the tank venting system was clogged. I ordered an appliance hand-truck but it came with a regular small hand-truck so we could not load appliances.Kazunori G.
