This was not my original location. When I arrived to pick up my truck, the original location had not set up the truck for mobile check in. I had to call customer service and have the location changed. While I got my truck, it was an hour delay. I appreciate your reply for walking us through the fix, but it was overall frustrating to have this happen.Randall K.

The U-Haul online, no contact process did not work well for either pickup or return. Directions/instructions lacking for that process. Very bad online/app for U-Haul. But i have nothing bad to say about SSC Auto. Thank goodness SSC Auto was open for picking up the truck.Shelley J.

I asked them to check my gas when I dropped off the truck. They hopped in the truck and said they would check in the back. I did put in two gallons of gas before returning the truck but my final bill I was charged for 2 gallons of gas. I reached out to the office and left a message but no reply. I just think the gas thing is a racket. I used the scale on the paperwork when I refilled it. I feel like they ripped me off.Ruth B.

My problem was not with the location. I called to schedule picking it at one place that they told me had 24/7 pick up, then the next Day I got a call and they asked me to pick up somewhere else since the first location didn't actually have 24/7 pickup(not sure why they told me it did). I agreed and then when I got there that night that hadn't changed my reservation location online so There was no button to pick up the truck. I called and was on hold for 15 minutes late at night in the dark so after a while I went and tried to manually change it but it said the location they told me to go to on the phone didn't have my truck available. So then I had to change it to a third location myself and go pick it up there. So the customer service was no helpful to me at allSydney B.
Other than the size we reserved being unavailable- our experience was very good. That little hiccup could have been disappointing if we had not also had a pickup truck. The personnel were very friendly and the vehicle ran great!Julie E.
I refilled the gas to the same level it was given. I drove 20 miles total. I put 2,5 gallons into the truck. That's 8MPG. I was charged $51 for low gas. I call to ask why I was charged a ridiculous fee. They tell me they have pictures and to call an 1800 number who I have been on hold with all morning. Horrible experience.Shane R.

U-haul online reservation difficult - had to do it twice from the house. When I arrived, I was asked to do the reservation again, but the location did find it and there were more questions asked in addition to the reservation. But, the u-haul experience was good.Donald G.

I received an email of my return receipt 78 bucks for the 19,99 U-Haul and we did not put gas upon return so I expected a fee for that but how ever the amount that came from my card was 90my bank card charged me 30 overdraft fee I only had about 80 bucks in my account if they would of just pulled from my account what my receipt said I was charged I would not have been charged a 30 overdraft fee . I want U-Haul to reimburse me the 30 bucks .sonya M.
The reason for my rating is there was only one person working and lots of customers. I had to go get the truck myself. The tire was flat on the right hand front side and there was lights on the dashboard for maintenance etc. I got charged a $25 cleaning fee which was unnecessary since the truck was dirty anyways. We were very clean and neat and I will be calling the office tomorrow morning to see about getting a refund for that charge.Debbie M.

I was charged twice for the rental. You did issue a credit for one of them. Upon returning the truck exactly how I got it, I emailed the receipt which had a charge of $39,42 of which $25 was for cleaning and $!0.00 for equipment/damage. I forgot about the moving pad in my boyfriend's truck and returned it the next day. They would not issue a refund even though it was returned. So I paid for 6 moving pads at $10 and was charged !10 for one that I returned. The $25 cleaning fee was because the moving pads weren't folded and stacked. WELL, we only used 3 and the two were folded and stacked but must have fell off during the return drive. So, I was charged $25 for one of your employees to pick up 2 moving pads about 10 inches off the ground and place them onto the other 3. What a rip off! I have used U-Haul for 3 prior moves with no hiccups. I will NEVER use your company again and will not only not recommend your company but will encourage others not to so.Jackie F.

I've rented many, many Uhauls from an array of locations including uhaul neighborhood dealers, and actual uhaul locations. This is the first time I've ever had such a poor experience. Online, I opted in for truck share 24/7, as it said I could, and when I got there, it said it wasn't eligible for truck share. So I went inside to get the keys and the employee said I could bring it back noon the next day, as my original drop off time was for midnight that night and as mentioned, truck share wasn't available. I asked him about the extra charge, he said not to worry about it and to bring it back whenever. To my surprise, I was charged DOUBLE than what was originally estimated. If he had told me that I was going to be charged for having it for a longer time, I would've told him that I didn't want to do that. I called to get an explanation once I received my receipt and he was extremely dismissive and at one point just stopped talking on the phone. Didn't respond to what I was saying at all, even though I could hear the background noise from wherever he was at. It came across as very sleazy and careless and honestly has made me never want to rent another uhaul again.Jacob E.

The trailer was caked with dirt and dented. I had to retake all the "before" pictures to make sure I wouldn't be charged for it. Also, the workers at this location were overall a bit "shady". Two days after we returned the trailer, we were surprised with an additional fee that was charged separately to our card on file. When we tried to call to have them correct this (or explain it), no one answered the phones at that location (even though we called during business hours). We had to call UHaul's central customer service line to get it fixed.Deb M.
They charged me a fuel fill-up charge of $30 along with a fuel charge of $24,3 when I returned the truck with the same amount that it was showing on the fuel gauge nettle. Victor- leasing agent gave me the u-haul consumer service number and I never was able to reach anyone regarding my situation. Please go to Penske !!!!!Doug F.

Next time, make sure your locations have the truck ready for pick up. When I arrived to original pick up location it was closed, locked, and my truck was unavailable. Then I had to spend an hour on hold just to reserve a smaller truck that my belongings didn't all fit into. After all that all I received from Uhaul was a $50 credit. Ridiculous. Next time I'll go enterprise. However, the staff at SSC was great and very helpful and fast.Robert D.
