I was not explained that the insurance and the equipment was per day. It cost more than they quoted me and I went under the mileage that I gave them. The old gentleman at the desk did not know what he was doing. I feel I was overcharged.

Make sure that equipment requested is actually in vehicle. I was supposed to have furniture cloths and a trolly when I picked it up. Neither item was in the rental.

I paid extra to change my drop off location to the closest place to my new home. A uhaul representative called me and told me to take it to a different location, 15 mins away vs my original planned drop off location, less than 5 minutes away. There was no compensation or discount to my bill which I feel would have been fair due to change on such short notice and inconvenience.

When I first got there to rent was told buy sales person no one here to rent trucks he will be back within the hour had to wait for him to get back no one else there would help me

I will never use a cell phone again for picking up a rental truck from U-Haul, or anyone else for that matter. It was nothing but a nightmare from the beginning. Plus all the hidden charges you applied to the bill. I will never use U-Haul again.

Your resversations process sucks! You sent me an email confirmation at 9:30AM for EXACTLY what I wanted AND the location I selected. But then at 7:30PM, i receice a message indicating you didnt have what i wanted and i would have to drive 45 minutes out of my way to get a different unit that i didnt even want(too big). Then at 7am your scheduling customer service guy (jim at 717-652-9102) tells me that jist because i got a confirmation doesnt mean id get a trailer. He was a complete ass. I talked to a supervisor and she gor me set up with another unit locally that would work for me. Terrible customer service!!!

They have a large parking lot for dropping off trucks. That was very nice. They could have signs pointing to the "drop box" location. We had to search for it. It was raining so that made it harder to find.

the drive was extremely erratic and bumpy. im not an expert but there seems to be transmission problems with the truck. at one point the rpms raced up to and held at 4000 rpms with my foot off the gas peddle. other than that customer service was friendly and helpful

Really nice representative, seemed to be a decent guy. That said, I reserved a 20 foot truck and received a 26 for truck. Wish someone there would have told me they didn't have the size requested, I would have gone elsewhere. A bigger truck costs me more in fuel, and it's harder to get into tight places. Next item is the bigger disappointment -- the cab floor, seat, door and steering wheel were covered in mud, as was the cargo area. Not a little bit, a lot of mud. Had rented moving blankets to protect my furniture and instead used them on the cargo deck to keep the mud from being tracked into the house. I understand the pickup location may not be a high volume place, and the representative (an older guy) may not be the most energetic of people, but come on. Really disappointed with the mud. Had I not been in a tight schedule, I would have cancelled then and there. Don't mean to be bitchy -- sorry -- it's just the first time Uhaul has dropped the cleanliness ball. I have photos if you want them. Again, the rep was a decent old guy, maybe he's in over his head.

The people who work the U-Haul Counter here know what they are doing and will help in any way they can. The location is in an auto parts store that has existed in this location for decades. It is the same family and they choose not to make the store fancy like some big chains. If you don't like the look of the store, go somewhere else.

Retrain these people. Truck had broken mirror which they never told me about and never did a walk around with me at all. Numerous scratches and marks on truck. Truck only had gas that was just under hair of 3/4 tank He marked it 3/4. Go somewhere else to get your truck as these guys will try to hit you for extra charges.

You gave me 4 days for rental. I had it back in 3 days and the company could not even refund $15.00 but if I return even an hour late you charge me an entire day. Needless to say yesterday they had someone waiting on a rental. Will be the last time I use your service when your company does not think about the customer.

This was not the fault of Stoicheff's but this experience was a nightmare. The truck size and Mechanicsburg PA location and time that I requested were not available so I had to change my plans and do round trip from Lewistown. When I got there to pick it up, the truck size was NOT available and I had to settle for a smaller truck which ended up NOT being big enough. When I called and requested another vehicle be made available, I was told that nothing could really be done as far as lowering price, but, I was supposed to be receiving a small credit. As far as recommending Uhaul overall, I'm not sure I would next time.

The guy I got my uhual from was rude. He lied about the gas, so now I'll probably never be able to rent from uhual again, & it was dirty & smelled like an ashtray that I had my 2 week old daughter in.

When I was in store making the contract I was told it would be 79¢ a mile. When I returned the U-Haul it was 99¢ a mile. Did not read the contract, figured what they said would be what it was. People were nice but always read the contract!!!!!

The reservation was made at Mifflintown and found the day of pick up the equipment was in Lewistown. This was an additional 20 miles Round trip. Also when I dropped off equipment I was told 2 of the 4 tires on the auto transport were shot and I was lucky to make it.

Numerous calls and the phone just rings with no one answering, had to use other U-Haul locations and main number to make reservation. Staff could use some customer service training, very unfriendly. Location of equipment looks like a junk yard. If U-Haul is going to put their name on this location they should inspect and follow up.
