When I picked the truck up it was on empty, that is totally unacceptable! Then I was overcharged 150 $at the end of my trip. Very nice. I forgot the mans name but he was awesome. He hooked the trailer up, he crossed the safety chains properly and took up the slack so they didn't drag. Did I mention it was raining and 35 degrees. He explained everything, checked the lights gave tips on unhooking the trailer. The whole process from start to finish took about 15 minutes, paperwork included. It took as long to hook up as it did for the paperwork. That was probably the best experience I have ever had at Uhaul. Thanks so much for taking time to explain everything. 35 degrees and raining.Gregory B.

Big U-haul needs to actually track assets that it rents out on it's website. My particular issue was that I was able to reserve an appliance dolly on the website and the location didn't actually have one available. The folks there did a nice job tracking one down for me and taking the sting out of me having to drive an extra 40 minutes to get it.Martin H.

The team at the pick up location was amazing turned the truck on for us before we even signed paperwork to warm it up. The team that set me up with my uhaul before I got there was horrible (relocation uhaul services?). I reserved a truck 4 days early and then was called two times to be told that wasn't available. I was then told a location 1,3 hrs away was the next closest and that I would need to go there. Which I just drove by the location 2 hrs earlier it they wouldn't have delayed the call till the last minute. They stated there was nothing else they could do unless I go a different truck and all the locations were closed by that point so I couldn't even set up new plans. I called back upset after being told this and was told there was a location that was 45 mins minimum away but I couldn't get the truck till 9am (thankfully the location saw me and asked me if I wanted to be helped early they were great) I had movers to meet at 10am that I was getting charged for the hour. Then the person I was speaking with stated there were no managers to talk with and that they would put in a customer service ticket about my negative experience stated I would get contacted within 24-48 hrs later. It's been 5 days and I still haven't heard anything back. Super disappointment especially because I have been in customer service for over 7 years and the least I would expect is a call from a manager. I have to figure out how to make all this work change my schedule when I'm moving drive an extra two hours and use my own gas instead of this being just a 5 min drive and actually being on time. Again disappointing. I was happy with both locations but because of my experience I will not be using uhaul again. Especially because someone can't even call back after leaving a complaint when they stated they would.Samantha W.
Have a space to allow individuals to load vehicles. They had great guidance lined up to assist but it would be nice to be able to complete that and not require a ride in order to pick up your truck. One of the two ratchet straps to secure my vehicle was broken upon receipt. The truck blew almost unbearable exhaust onto my feet during the 10hr drive. The employees were fantastic and professional and if I had known of the issues before I left I'm sure they would of resolved them.Craig S.

Don't fuck up their reservation TWICE and not include the equipment that was rented. Because of this the move was delayed, then it rained, my stuff got all wet because the roof leaked and all I got was a â€œsorryâ€ and a 50 $credit. You guys really suck.Thomas B.

An ice/snow scraper would be nice. My trip took me through Kansas & Colorado, I drove through a storm and didn't have a scraper to clear off the windshield.MARIA C.
It was late at night and dark when I dropped the truck off. Do not follow google maps. It will tell you to turn down the side street next to the Sunoco which leads to a dead end residential neighborhood. Turn INTO the Sunoco and go across the parking lot to the facility. Much easier.Adam M.

When I picked up truck and got home to load it up, it had about 2 inches of water in the back of the cargo area. I dried it all up and then loaded the truck. After reaching my destination and immediately unpacking, I saw several blankets were wet and my Ethan Allen dining table had water Mark's on it where the blankets got wet. There was a leak somewhere in the truck and water came in during the drive. I told this to the Uhaul clerk when returning the truck and she said she just works there and couldn't even make a note on my file about the leak and damaged table.Dana Marie S.
My trailer lights did not work on passenger side and none of the running lights where on at night. One of the 4 tires was at 15 lbs the other 3 where filled at the right psi, I filled the low tire. The trailer overall rode great and I was able to fit everything I needed in 6x12 trailer.Frank J.

It wasn't obvious that a 2" hitch ball was required for the trailer. I had a 1 7/8" ball on my hitch and had to purchase a 2" one before I could get the trailer. The location attendant then had to search for a wrench so I could make the change.Carl T.

Though my reservation was for this location I received a call the night before I was supposed to pick it up and was rescheduled to the Yorktown, VA location. I went there and was told I had to pick up my prepaid supplies at the J Clyde location. I asked if I couldn't just grab them from where I was, and they said no. This was the only problem I had with them. Otherwise, my experience was great.Robert C.
