I requested a trailer to haul a full size Dodge van. The Trailer I was rented was too narrow and you wasted over 4 hours of my time and 30 dollars in Diesel fuel because you don't know what fits on your trailers. I will have to be reimbursed for all that before i can trust you again.

You rented me a truck with bad alignment and breaks that shimmy/vibrated when breaking on the highway. Maybe make sure your trucks are in good working order before you let someone take them off the lot? Or is DOING YOUR JOB too hard for you guys? First time using U-Haul and I can't wait to never rent from you again.

The guy here was great. He made the rental enjoyable especially since I had booked the equipment for day before in a Portland, Oregon location and when I got there the equipment was broken and only available equipment was in Sandy, I had to spend another night and get transport to Sandy, Oregon which cost me an additional$200.00. Wasn't happy about that. This guy was great. Enjoyed talking to him.

The woman who runs t he operation was wonderful. The amount of gas was registered at 3/8. When I filled the tank it took 36 gallons in a 40 gallon tank. Not sure who would believe that 4 gallons would be 3/8. I did leave it with 1/2 tank.

The office opened a few minutes late and being I was on a very defined timeline I was concerned. The rep apologized, was very friendly and quickly accommodated us. No harm done and grateful for his attention. The equipment was clean, operated properly and the billing was as expected.

I have never left a negative review because I am an understanding person. I paid for the rental online the day before I picked it up. The office was supposed to open at 10:00am but the lady didn't show up until 10:15 to open the office to give me the key and was unapologetic for her tardiness, she was instead being defensive without a logical explanation, and the gas tank was almost empty. Also the cab was clearly not cleaned (during COVID-19 outbreak). Never renting from this location again.

Ad pricing is very misleading. There should be a more accurate price indicator that is part of the advertisement. "E.g: Typical 1 day rentals run between 80 and 100 dollars."

I was very distracted and frankly being rude on my phone while in a panic trying to pick up a car hauler. The lady was VERY polite and made sure, even though I was distracted, that everything was ready and right! Trailer was perfect. We have looked at buying a trailer but at these rental rates for a car hauler, why? Thank you!!!

I almost did not use Uhaul when I found out that the 26" truck I needed could not be delivered to the Ruben location. I would have had to pay mileage for an additional 20 miles if I picked the truck up in Gresham. I will think long and hard before using Uhaul again. Luckily the Ruben Lane location had a 15 foot truck available, which worked out good since we only had a short distance to travel.

This was my first time using Uhaul and I was not overly impressed. The equipment was good, clean, and didn't stink, however the self pick up process was kinda ridiculous. For this process they connect you to someone via chat, but it take 5-7 minuets per reply, even when I replied right away. Fast forward to the return process, I was charged for 2 rental periods as opposed to 1 (I only had a truck for 8 hours). Given that it was after business hours I started a chat conversation to find out why I was double charged. The person I was working with did solve my problem, eventually. Again the reply times were between 6 and 7 minuets, so it took about 45 minuets to sort things out. That was on a Friday. Flash forward to the following Monday and I check my checking account to find a THIRD charge of over 50 dollars! So I decide to call the customer service line. I wish that I could remember the name of the woman I spoke with because she was friendly, kind, helpful, and deserves to be recognized for excellent customer service. Either way it took about 5 minuets to figure out what happened, turns out that I'm getting a full refund for what I paid on Friday ($102.00) and the newest charge was what I should have paid to begin with. Needless to say it's kinda rotten that they took yet more money before my refund has even processed. I am not sure that I will be using Uhaul again, but the actual equipment was great and made moving super easy.

You apparently got a Headstart on the holidays. I stopped by the office to get more boxes at 1 o'clock Saturday and your office was closed and it was posted that you were open till four. Was disappointed in the end it hit Fred Meyer's, Safeway, and whoever else had boxes. I hope you have a good fourth

Uhaul put our location at Estacada but it was Sandy that called, and when I explained that I was supposed to be picking up in Estacada, the lady stated that she would call me back after she tried to fix it. I never heard from her, and it was the day before I was to pick up the U-Haul. I ended up having to call Estacada myself and then a customer service to get it all sorted that I would need to pick up in Sandy anyways, and then when I got to Sandy the following morning, the boxes I had paid for online weren't all available, and instead of offering me either a refund or upgrading to what they did have for no charge, the lady just stated that I could get the next best thing and she would charge me the difference. I was already rerouted to her store which added miles to our trip (WHICH THEY ENDED UP CHARGING ME FOR) and she was not willing to accommodate for what I had prepaid for and she couldn't provide. It was a terrible experience! My family had nothing but headaches from the moment we first ordered the U-Haul online and from the time we dropped it off.

My U-Haul trailer had a gash in the roof, which I was unaware of. And then I moved during a very rainy two days & realized that something must have been wrong when I opened the door & found all of my belongings very wet & cardboard boxes completely saturated - there was a 1/2inch of standing water in the Mom's Attic area - it was awful. When I arrived back last Thur at 3'ish I reported the issue to Lacey, & the facility owner was there as well & saw the gash in the L roof. They told me to file a claim, & her computer was not functioning properly - I left very bummed & not sure what else I can / could've done. If I had moved when it was dryer out none of this would of ever occurred - it was major added stress I was not needing or expecting what so ever. I would appreciate this statement to be used towards my claim if possible & a reimbursement also.

I went to rent a 17 footer box van one week before the move. I was told that there were none available, but I would be given a 20 footer for the price of a 17 footer ($29.95 per day in stead of $39.95). I was in a hurry when turning in van, as I had to report to work and employee had sign up that she would be back at3:30 PM (over an hour later), so I left the truck, came back just before 4 and told her I had to be in Portland for work, as she was helping others. She stated that she would email the bill. When doing so she charged me the full price ($39.95 per day) in stead of the agreed upon price of $29.95), since no 17 footers were available. I called and she said she would correct the error-never did. Not only was I upset about the promised price and the charge, but the fact that they do not man their business office when they claim they are open (2 separate occasions). The larger Uhaul (Gresham) always has someone on site and when they say they'll do something-they follow through. The Sandy employee was pleasant, but her lack of follow through and lackadaisical work schedule are not positive influences that would lend to me recommending or returning to that facility. Never did correct my bill!. The truck was fine, but needed sweeping out when I picked it up. The fuel line was below 1/2 full, though I returned it slightly over 1/2.

It was a good location for me and the truck was very nice. The only non positive was it is a small facility and some times there was no one in the office. You call the phone number on the door and wait for someone to come. It was not to long a wait.

When the sign on the door says open make sure someone is in the store working. Had to wait 30 min for the guy working to get back from town when I needed the trailer at that time. Sign said he was out in the field and had a number to call and no answer every time I called.

I rented the truck at 9:30 am on Sunday, for a 24 hour rental. I returned it 8 hours later at the Ruben Lane location in Sandy Oregon. I noticed today that I got charged for an extra days rental and it said I dropped it off at 10am Monday, which I did not do. It was returned the day before to their store which is closed on Sundays. I don't appreciate being charged for an extra day when I didn't even have it for the original 24 hours rented. And now I have to request a refund.
