I had a small delay on picking up my truck because I was 20 minutes early, and the system wouldn't let me get the truck before the time I specified, is not a big deal, but it would make a big difference being able to be there some minutes before. Other than that, the service was great.

Dropped truck off at one spot and the woman behind the counter without a mask, told we couldn't return unused boxes there. What's wrong with U-Haul? Why don't U-Haul employees wear masks? I understand this woman was not your employee but to me, she's representing U-Haul so U-Haul is the problem. Went to the last place to return boxes and was told we couldn't without documentation. That would have been nice to know when we started out. Would have been nice to have been told only some places accept unused boxes. Megan, at that last place was so efficient and helpful. She allowed me to leave the unused boxes there and then call in the order number to get my refund. And Megan and the man there were also wearing masks, over their mouths AND noses. Next time if there is a virus on, I'll order a pod and have it moved. Very disappointed guys. Get your act together.

When I picked up the truck it had under 1/4 tank of gas, even though the desk showed as about 3/8 of a tank. I filled with 23+ gallons over $50. Returned with 3/4 of a tank of gas and received a fuel credit of $8.00, really? Additionally I ordered with 12 furniture pads the store only had 5 and they were outside where the rain was able to hit them, therefore 1/2 of the pads were wet, and had been used recently. The store still charged me a partial price for the pads. The employees were all nice, but the overall experience was disappointing.

I'm afraid I didn't get her name but she was very professional and was able to accommodate all our needs and did it with a smile. Hidden fees, was charged 12 after I paid for everything already and didn't know I owed 12 due to not receiving any form of communication on the fact that I owed at all so I was charged 42 dollars for the 12 and a 30 late fee. Thanks, Uhaul.

They were busy, and had masks on, but helped me right away. The truck I rented parked outside the door. Only took a few minutes to sign a paper and get keys. Scheduling the rental on-line did help speed things up.

So fast and friendly. Best Uhaul experiences I've ever had. I have used their Uhaul location twice. I have moved A LOT and highly recommend them.

During COVID times you must clean each vehicle inside. I could clearly tell it had not been wiped down let alone sanitized. Very disappointed in uHaul.

I arrived at the Uhaul destination at 1215pm, 15 minutes late for my return. The location charged me an entire extra day, and did not allow me to keep the rental vehicle beyond the 15 minutes I was late. That is simply wrong in my opinion . Additionally, I found the employees to be rude and boardering on dishonest - claiming another customer waited an extreme amount of time. Not sure how 15 minutes is considered extreme. There are many Uhaul locations. This one is convenient - but they are not at all customer friendly. Expect to be charged as much as they can for as little service as possible. Most disappointing experience.

The manager was not wearing a mask in the office. She put it on when I can in to check in the van, but did not cover her nose. She puts customers and her employee, who was wearing a mask properly, at risk. The office was cluttered and messy. The person who helped me was professional and courteous. I give her 5 stars - the manager gets a big fat zero for being selfish and unconcerned about putting customers and employees health at risk.

The location and cleanliness were perfect! We loaded the night before, then a cold front and pouring rain came in the morning. Around 10am we got low pressure warning on one of the tires. Contract says to call. Multiple calls to headquarters and 3 different people, never sent a repair person. Two hours later, we drove anyway and finished the job. The van was perfect for our needs. If there is a problem (and we were in a city), the repair revive sucked!

With pre-registration online and email confirmation at drop off the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy! The only small issue was the windshield of the van we rented was covered in bugs from the previous rental, and had not been cleaned before we rented it, making it difficult to see and potentially a safety hazard. I got some windex and cleaned the windshield myself to be safe. Everything else was excellent!

1) Sunset Mini was great. Would get a U-Haul from them again in the future. 2) I originally reserved our 10ft U-Haul at the Walker Road location over a week ago, and this morning - two hours before we were to pick up the truck, they (Walker Rd) changed the reservation to Sunset Mini because they didn't have 10ft trucks available. We did not get a call the day before to confirm our reservation, which according to the site is policy. We didn't actually receive the message until about 20 minutes before we were going to pick up the truck at Walker Rd. I called and asked why we weren't called or emailed or texted yesterday instead of TWO HOURS BEFORE PICKUP and they said it was just how the system is. The person I talked to (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) said that the system showed reservations for that day only and not reservations further out. I asked if I qualified for the $50 credit, which is per policy if the truck is not available and changes have to be made the day of at the fault of U-Haul, and she said no. I asked why their system is set up this way when I had reserved the truck over a week prior, but she cut me off and said there was nothing she could do. She told me that she changed the reservation to Sunset Mini trying to accommodate, and that was all she could do. We had to push the reservation an hour back (which was a little bit of a hassle, but we made it work). I did call U-Hauls customer service citing the policy about the $50 guarantee and what we had gone through believing we qualified and the agent agreed with me, but said it did need approval before it could be credited to us. Sunset Mini treated us with respect and kindness. Walker Rd on the other hand did not. I would honestly give this a one star review because of them, but I don't want Sunset Mini to suffer because of Walker Rds mistake. Can someone please correct whoever it is that works at Walker Rd on the policies that are stated on the website and if this is the fault of their system, fixed the system.

I scheduled for 8/9 at 7am pick up. I was called 8/8 and told to pick up the Van by 4:45 on 8/8 or rent from somewhere else because self serve wasn't available. The person at pick up definitely lacked customer service skills, upon return of the Van her skills hadn't improved... defiantly will rent somewhere else next time...

We did the check yourself in option for our UHaul but did not realize at this location, you must go into the closet of an office for your key. No signs about masks or distancing, and no distancing possible inside. They aren't having one person only inside for safety or anything. Office person not wearing mask correctly. She finally got to me, not wearing mask, and answered the phone. Handed me the keys and no other information given. We rented a hand cart, no information given on if it's in the truck or if we just take one. We went back in and she was weird about it, and told us to take whatever we needed. Why did we even pay for it then?? All they had were large appliance carts, not regular ones. And of course we get a truck that only has half a tank of fuel for a full day of moving. They also have distasteful images around the room. Unhelpful, rude, bad customer service. Not covid safe. This is also a storage place and they do storage auctions. Too much going on to focus. The front desk lady needs to find a new type of work. Horrible experience on moving day. Not usually a Karen but corporate needs to take the uhauls away from this place. We return it, and they want us to park it in the no overnight parking spot we got it from, even though we were scheduled to return it after hours. But if it gets towed will I have to front the bill? Ridiculous waste of time and money. Avoid this place

Check-in or odometer issue. Initially charged for 84 miles. Service person wanted to reduce to 54 based on odometer reading after re-checking. There is no way that I drove more than 35 miles. I was able to get her to reduce it to 46 miles. I am not satisfied with over-paying.

This location isn't really well equipped for online pickup. The vehicles are located behind a locked gate, which means you need to go to the office to gain access. The point of checking out online is to minimize contact and speed up the process, but if you need to wait in line to get access to the vehicles it misses the point. Everyone was friendly and helpful, just would have appreciated being able to utilize the online pickup as planned.

I did not enjoy the disrespect to customers' health and future by not wearing a facial mask -- irrespective of whether the patron believes in it or not. I guess I have a choice also, and will thus refrain from using that location again, and inform family and friends of my decision.

I had reserved 6 furniture moving blankets, only 4 were available at the time of renting the truck. One of those blankets was really dirty and smelled foul. It was quite possibly a health hazard, something to think about in this period of pandemics. I felt disappointed that this is the condition of blankets that I paid to rent from U-Haul.

I drove the van for 27 miles without A/C and filled two gallons of gas to where it was when I rented out the car just before I returned. I charged another $6 for gas.The overall cleanliness of the car was very bad and there was a spider on it's web inside the driver cabin. I usually rent u-haul and this time the experience was not that good.
