I made a reservation to pick up at 10am. I arrived at 11:30 to be told it was given to someone else because I was "late" I dont get whats the point of reserving and confirming the appointment if it's not actually reserved.

Rent a number of times from U-Haul. This location is smaller and much more accessible than the larger location nearby. Easily reached by phone and prompt service. I will be using them from now on.

Julian CI am 74 yrs of age. I was left to lift the trailer from the ground to the hitch. I was lucky to have been offered assistance from a bystander. I needed some additional equipment that they did not have. The trailer was filthy dirty so much so that I had to go wash it as I would not have a dirty trailer hitched to my vehicle.
ROGER RMoving van had garbage in the back. Front area was dusty and hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was red paint on the inside of the windshield that I had to scrape off before returning the van.
Dale SThere was less than 1/4 tank of gas in the tank. That was not okay with it being -25 outside. Should always have 1/2 tank at all times during winter months.

MARTIN NI made a deposit of 167 and I had truck 24 hrs gas tank was 14 tank I brought it back at 1/8thbof a tank and never got a dime back I feel like I was ripped off.

Great customer service and when I returned the truck he met my queries about the final cost in a very professional manner even though I might not have been the most pleasant customer. Give this outlet a commendation, I am a tough customer that demands great service, this is one of the few times I got the service I expect and deserve.
Steven KUhaul managers should make sure the trailer brakes are set up before they rent them out. Who checks on if the yearly checks are beung done and is it jot dependent on the mileage the trailer is subjected to? I checked 2 trailers in 1 morning and both had no brakes. I understand how these brakes work but the roadside mechanic had to adjust all 4 brake shoes in order to have brakes. So if I had not performed a brake test who would of been responsible for a wreck if I wasn't able to stop on time at high speeds? Nobody would have known the better but it ultimately lies in upper management to look after lower management
Richard VCheck the actual truck so that your next customer doesn't have to clean it out for you. I never actually received the credit that I was promised either. Overall, very sketchy how this transaction occurred. I would not choose uhaul ever again due to this experience.

He didn't even tell me about the papers that I needed to use for the checkin or that I needed to stay at the location until I was done checking in the uhaul through phone or app. I had to go back and my phone needed wifi to use the app and he wouldn't let me connect to his to check In. Will not recommend this pick up to anyone again

John HThe truck was dirty inside with cigarette ashes on the dash and console and it reeked of cigarette smoke. The steering was loose, brakes were spongie and had about a 1/4 tank of fuel. No I would not recommend.

Mariya AThis was the worst customer service. NOT this location. We booked 2 weeks in advance, and the truck wasn't at the location booked and after waiting 3 hours it never arrived. We got on the phone and after much to do they sent us to the Hermitage location, which was where we wanted to go 2 weeks prior, but they said no trucks available???? There were 4 trucks at this location all day, so seems like the head office doesn't know what is going on out in the real world. This is very stressful for anybody but seniors more so, especially when we have help organized, and have no truck till the next day. An inconvenience for all. The gentleman at Hermitage was very pleasant and helpfull. Gary Jackson
gary jWhile the service was great, I booked the car for 8 AM and selected mobile pickup however, I was unable to access the car until the location opened. but the location did not open until 10 AM. The location owner informed me that Uhaul shouldn't have allowed the booking for 8 AM knowing fully well that the location open time is 10AM. This meant I lost 2 hours of my time waiting for the bus and resulting in completing my task in 2 days instead of 1. I will like to know who is going to pay for the lost hours and income. - Chika
Chukwunonso uWe didn't like that the location is primarily a vape/smoke shop and for that reason wouldn't recommend it. The staff and service was good but the location itself not so much.

Ralph TChanged my rental to a different location and I was not advised. I booked a 6x12 ENCLOSED trailer for a out of town move From Edmonton to Redwater (but returning to the same location) and they changed it to a 6x12 open trailer. Called customer service about the situation and they said they will find a 6x12 that I originally booked but for a different location in a different area of the city. On the way there received an e-mail for confirmation of a 6x12 OPEN trailer. Called back and spoke to another rep. Was told nothing is available in that size and I would need to use a 4x8 enclosed trailer. Significantly smaller. Had to make multiple trips wasting gas because of the lack of space. Asked rep if there was any way they could help out and was told no" We don't make much on the 19,95 rental so I can't help you" In my line of business if I messed that up my customer wouldn't be paying for my lack of organization/communication. I understand that technology isn't perfect and the e-mail got lost somewhere as I have checked multiple times in all inboxes for the notification of a changed location. Even if I went to the correct location I wouldn't have received the proper trailer. Rep told me to use a tarp and ratchet straps. Thanks but I wasn't expecting to do that are you paying for that since I planned for an enclosed trailer? Never had an issue with UHaul before. VERY disappointed with this experience. I would like to point out the pick-up location that I did get the small trailer from was great! No problems there, just Uhaul.

rick cThe first drop off location was not existing I then tried another location to drop off and there was no drop box. I then had to call and find an alternative location. These unnecessary trips made me have extra charges for milage.
Linsey POnly thing I was not happy with was the fact that pick up time was 10 and no one showed up till 10:20 to open the store,also the truck I was given had a trailer attached to it so I had to remove the trailer before I could take the truck.
Paul AI reserved the vehicle transport trailer from 2pm -2pm 24hrs When arriving I'm being told they don't care if I need it for 24 hrs , someone else needs it at 10 am the next day and they want it back before the next customer. That's not my agreement with uhaul . I'm not impressed
