When I called in to reserve I was told the location I wanted didn't have what I needed. I was booked to another location for Saturday at 8 AM. When I got there I was told that my rental moved to a third location, even though they had 5 of the trailers I needed sitting on their lot waiting until the next day for a move three provinces away. When I got to the last location I discovered they didn't open until 10 AM, putting me late for my day's travel and work. Plus the trailer's turn signal / brake light didn't work. First off your trailers are not safe to hook up. There is no kickstand to hold the tongue up making hookup impossible by yourself. The store worker was busy in the store and couldnt assist. Attempting to hookup the trailer by myself cost me a broken finger. At a min there should be a block of wood to assist or make it mandatory to have a store worker to assist.Greg H.

I had lots of issues booking this reservation. Had to phone the head person to try and straighten it out. She did but the info was not updated on the computer but it was emailed to me with the proper information. I had book the pick up and return on the 50th street location. When our daughter went to pick it up on 50th she was sent to heritage location and finding out that I had booked it for only 7 hours. I had it booked for 24 hours like it said after changing that 7 hours to 24 hours with the head person. Dropping it off went really well. Denise RichardChantal R.

The owner was extremely rude and argumentative. I have never been treated so badly at any business in my entire life. I am 60 years old. If I was UHaul I would take the franchise away and close this location . There is a proper UHaul center 1 km away on 50 St NW. I will never do business there again and recommend everyone else stay away. Despicable.Danny H.

Had to go to a different location to get the truck. Had no pads on it that I reserved so I had to drive the truck to another location to pick pads up. Was told I would receive a $50 credit to cover mileage but didn't get that either.Randy L.
There seemed to be very little turnaround time for the truck from the previous renter. The gas level was below the 'E' on the gauge. The truck also had a low tire warning, indicating it needed air - helpful that it indicated which tire though. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and insistent on filling it up right away at the closest gas station across the street. The back of the truck was also a bit dirty with dead leaves, a bunch of screw nuts (like screws, not edible nuts), and used cigarette butts. Other than that, the truck was in good shape and did the job. Pick up was fairly straightforward too.Bruce R.

My credit card was overcharged by $100 without my consent. Instead of $67.32 I was charged $167.67. Please rectify that because I just realized this after I logged in my online banking. Thanksahmed P.
The truck was not clean inside or outside. We ended up cleaning the inside ourselves to make sure we didn't get stuck with the cleaning fee. The pick up location owner was nice enough but did not do a walk around with usBrian H.
my truck was pulled over and impounded for 30 days and uhaul told me my stuff that was in truck was not being held and i have to pay them $3500+ for the fees. but i had to put fluids in the truck when i rented it, tail lights were not working and nither was the cabs ventilation system, front passenger tire had slow leak and the alignment was off by 6 degrees and had a negative camber of 9 degrees which i fixed. The place i rented it from refused cash even though it says cash accepted for all rentals except pickup trucks and cargo vans, i rented a 15foot. and there twice the gas in the tank when they got it back than when i rented it. the value of my contents in the truck was about $8000 . a loss for sure as was my loss from the cargo van previously rented by a roommate. though he got 2 day rental and didnt tell me this, when my turn came to use it to move i stopped at a store to get cleaning supplies and when i came out a wrecker was hooking up my van and a pudding of a woman was standing there calling me a thief and being very disrespectful. She wouldnt let me take any of my stuff out of the van and said i have 5 days to collect my belongings from a locker at the maintenance yard opposite side of town. this was on a monday and friday when i got another rental and went to retrieve my belongings, was disgusted to see over half my stuff was missing and even stuff not mine was mixed in where manager herself offered me belongings that were not mine but that of some other person/family. my loss was a tote bin of jewelry, 2 55" flatscreen tvs, 3 laptops, clothes, 3 shotguns 3 handguns and 2 automatic assault rifles. all of which had a estimated value of $35000.. some things not replaceable like my fathers wwII medals and such and even an silver WWII concentration camp commandants ring my father personally killed the nazi and took from him. i seen the ring sold at a local auction house but they said seller was unnanmed and refused to give any info. some other stuff was seen sold on kijiji and letgo and all by people who work at that one location. when i brought the missing contents to the managers attention she didnt seem to care and her demeanor suggested she knew of the thefts and dont care., she did seem concerned only when i said the police will be investigating the missing guns and other things. but supposedly now i owe over $3500 to uhaul for the impounded truck but they stole about $43000. worth of my stuff . hey uhaul i think you owe me 39000 ish .. since im not allowed stuff that was in the truck and i seen its in a storage locker that i have no access to, maybe squash my bill and call it even or ill see you in court and there will be a zero or two added to my estimated loss.Sam M.
Inspected the unit before taking it off the lot- there was a lock on the cargo door, inquired why- Rep didn't know. Instructed me to cut it off after confirming no one is still renting the unit. Lock was cut off- another customer still had 1/4 of the van full of furniture. I needed to unload it in order to complete my move. Then load it back up and return the unit. The Rep then asked if I got rid of the furniture on my dime- He was very disappointed that I didn't dispose of the furniture on my time and my dime. I wouldn't recommend this dealer.Ernest N.
I took the vehicle with 1/4 fuel and gave it back with 1/2, and no reimbursement was made for the fuel I added (literally the double). I think that is not different from stealing.crislain K.
