claude M.I was just upset because I was charged for a utility dolly and there was no utility dolly in my uhaul. I was still charged for this - this is not the first time this has happened. Inconvenience.
BRYAN S.The truck had its check engine light on and the steering was grossly out of alignment, the truck pulls hard to the right to the point it's dangerous to drive. I am not concerned about aesthetics or comfort but safety should not be compromised and this truck was unsafe.

janice P.when I pick-up the truck the items I had rent were not inside and I had to wait the next day to pick up, so I had to cancelled my first contract to make sure I didn't get charge for and re do a new one and for me that's a waste of time and money

If not for on site representative I wold not have been to get the van i filled out the paperwork for.was afraid I wasn't going to be able to sue the van for the van. Not happy. Unsire i ill use U-Haul again in the summer to move my son back into college.
ndrew B.The location wasn't open when we dropped off the truck but the process of doing so remotely was impossible. If you didn't have technological experience it would have been impossible. The location services on my phone weren't working and there were no clear directions on where to leave our keys.

Anthony T.There was snow all over the vehicle. It took us almost 2 hours to get the snow off. I also never received my contract through my email. I had to co tact customer service to retrieve it and I had to contact them to get the lock box code. There was a bunch of wasted time. I am supposed to get $50 for my reservation not being ready, and I never received it.

The truck bed I had to sweep out leaves and some dirt before loading up. Not crazy dirty but had to be swept.. I didn't care though. That didn't bother me at all. I took pictures and as long as I'm not charged to clean it (which I wasnt) then it's all good.

EMAD G.Provide the vehicle with a full tank of gas. Mine was just above 1/4 of a tank full when I got it. It's an inconvenience that you have to worry whether you have enough gas to make it to your destination.

Mary W.The fuel indicator on the truck was just below half mark when I picked up the the truck. I topped up the gas to 1/2 on return but I was changed to 2 Gallons. Wrong information was stated by the location on fuel indication. This is to do with rental location.. I tried to rent a truck from this location previously ans had bad experience.
SAIKUMAR V.I didn't bother about cleanliness of the equipment & truck. Now I received an intimation saying that there was a toll violation for the rented truck whereas I never went onto any toll road. Also, I did return the truck with 1/2 tank full (I got the truck with less than 1/2)

JITEN P.Rental was scheduled for 8:30. I think I actually got the car at 9:45. I went through the steps on the app (which was glitchy) and got to the point where it told me how to retrieve the key. The key was not in the lock box where is was supposed to be. The location for pickups hours are stated as 8am-6pm. No one was there to assist me until after 9:30. The truck was covered in ice and snow which I had to clean off after I finally got into the truck. The furniture pads and dolly which I requested (and was charged for) were missing.

RICHARD T.Perform a more thorough vehicle check. The tire low air pressure indicator came on and while it was not a problem, it should have been caught and addressed prior to the rental..
Gregory H.I've reserved a truck Saturday for pick on sunday 10am at oak tree rd and 9,3 some one from U-Haul called me saying that they don't have a 10' truck available almost screwed my all day thank you
Prasanna J.WE oreder a uhaul for a 4pm pick up, at 3:45 the manager called to inform s that it is not at this location, and informed us that we would need to go to a further location, which was a massive inconvenience. On top of that, they did not have the furniture dolly that we requested, simply stating " oh I dont have that." I am moving and needed that dolly pretty badly. We still have not received a receipt for out order, and he charged us for the dolly, and insurance which we did not need. Overall a very frustrating experience, and poorly managed. I will not be using this location in the future.
CHARLES B.My family has utilized U-Haul many times through the years and as recently as 2 weeks prior to this current use. My issue with U-Haul is always the customer service. It was our first time using the location in Metuchen, NJ. The experience was by far better than any other location I've ever used. The customer service was above reproach and the speed of getting in and out on the front and back end of the rental was unmatched. I will try to rent from this location whenever I need a U-Haul in the future.
Brian W.The pick up process took around 45 minutes. The app kept saying it couldn't determine my location. I called uhaul several times with long wait so I called in Spanish, thankfully I'm bilingual and the rep was very nice and helpful. She explained I needed to allow the location not just from Safari but also the app itself. All else was great just the pick up due to app issues.
