The fuel indicator on the truck was just below half mark when I picked up the the truck. I topped up the gas to 1/2 on return but I was changed to 2 Gallons. Wrong information was stated by the location on fuel indication. This is to do with rental location.. I tried to rent a truck from this location previously ans had bad experience.SAIKUMAR V.
I didn't bother about cleanliness of the equipment & truck. Now I received an intimation saying that there was a toll violation for the rented truck whereas I never went onto any toll road. Also, I did return the truck with 1/2 tank full (I got the truck with less than 1/2)SHASHIKANT M.

Rental was scheduled for 8:30. I think I actually got the car at 9:45. I went through the steps on the app (which was glitchy) and got to the point where it told me how to retrieve the key. The key was not in the lock box where is was supposed to be. The location for pickups hours are stated as 8am-6pm. No one was there to assist me until after 9:30. The truck was covered in ice and snow which I had to clean off after I finally got into the truck. The furniture pads and dolly which I requested (and was charged for) were missing.MICHAEL I.

Perform a more thorough vehicle check. The tire low air pressure indicator came on and while it was not a problem, it should have been caught and addressed prior to the rental..Gregory H.
I've reserved a truck Saturday for pick on sunday 10.00am at oak tree rd and 9.30 some one from U-Haul called me saying that they don't have a 10' truck available almost screwed my all day thank youPrasanna J.
WE oreder a uhaul for a 4pm pick up, at 3:45 the manager called to inform s that it is not at this location, and informed us that we would need to go to a further location, which was a massive inconvenience. On top of that, they did not have the furniture dolly that we requested, simply stating " oh I dont have that." I am moving and needed that dolly pretty badly. We still have not received a receipt for out order, and he charged us for the dolly, and insurance which we did not need. Overall a very frustrating experience, and poorly managed. I will not be using this location in the future.CHARLES B.
My family has utilized U-Haul many times through the years and as recently as 2 weeks prior to this current use. My issue with U-Haul is always the customer service. It was our first time using the location in Metuchen, NJ. The experience was by far better than any other location I've ever used. The customer service was above reproach and the speed of getting in and out on the front and back end of the rental was unmatched. I will try to rent from this location whenever I need a U-Haul in the future.Brian W.
The pick up process took around 45 minutes. The app kept saying it couldn't determine my location. I called uhaul several times with long wait so I called in Spanish, thankfully I'm bilingual and the rep was very nice and helpful. She explained I needed to allow the location not just from Safari but also the app itself. All else was great just the pick up due to app issues.Enrique L.

Personnel didnt wear masks. Personnel couldn't use my pre-check in either. I had to do the check in again..inside. They couldn't provide the equipment I had requested. I rented an Appliance Dolly that they couldn't give me. They had no U-Haul dolly to provide in fact! The Van I was renting was never cleaned. UHaul advertises CoVid 19 clean up between users. Nothing was done to my van. This was admitted by the agent. He went to the van to see if the dolly was still in the van...cause in his words "it hasn't been touched since it was dropped off." It had coffee spills on the dash. Dirt and business fliers in the back. U-Haul turned around and has tried to charge me for the Dolly and for a cleaning!BRETT G.
