The Uhaul app was extremely hard to access, then the wait time on phone for assistance was about 15 minutes . The lock boxes were very hard to access. Three different people tried before lock finally opened . Was 2hrs late for an appointment because of all the problems . Then couldn't access app upon returning
Jeff BThis site is NOT staffed by people. It's just you, your smart phone, the U-Haul app, and the one 10' box truck parked on site. There are no other supplies available here - like appliance dollies, furniture pads, boxes, etc. Bare bones. But there are indoor storage units available to rent.
Michael MThis location was a joke. Funny how there are no survey questions about the absolutely abominable online rental process. Rented online and chose a pick up location only to be called the day before and told I had to drive out of my way to a different location to pick up a truck because of your incompetence. When I pick up the truck the online instructions are NOT complete. I had to call for online support. The lock on the key lockbox was frozen and and had to be practically pried open. To top it all off the dolly, cart and blankets I rented were NOT in the vehicle. Words cannot express my utter disappointment in this pitiful excuse for service. How do call yourself a business? The drop off location was the only decent part of the entire experience.

Al MI had concern over the condition of one tire. Regional Mgr (Matt) went to extraordinary measures to insure the problem was correct and I was satisfied. He and the support staff (800 #) of NE Pennsylvania are outstanding.
Tom JI asked for 2 hand dolly's, didn't get any! Before I left the uhaul guy told me he would check another location for me to get dolly's, he never called me or anything. Also uhaul guy was supposed to meet me @ 10am...he showed up @ 10:45. Very poor service @ the Hughsville location, would never recommend to anyone!!!
stacey mVery disorganized… service consisted of a guy walking around with a cell phone and no apparent office.. he didn’t inspect the vehicle I returned he just said ‘I will take care of it and went Off to help another person.. I was so unsure that I took a bunch of pics of the truck just to be sure I had record if something happened to it..place really needs some seasoned employees to get things organized and to get this location worthy of the good name of uhaul
KIM CI had scheduled the pickup of a 26 ft. truck, 2 dollies, an appliance dolly and 24 pads. The only thing we got at pickup was the truck everything else was a no show. This was a big inconvenience and required us having to go back to the location 2 hours later when they opened to get those things so we could complete our move.
Aaron RThe location was not the issue. The reservation process was the issue. The truck I requested was not available after the reservation was confirmed, then the location was not available, then I was told the new place didnt open until 10am, I get there at 10am and they're closed for the day and I had to do online check in. Wasted my morning.
MICHAEL MInvolve people. this total online experience is too difficult. How many times does one have this experience? not often, so the lack of human involvement makes it stressful when things don't go smoothly because you're not familiar with the process. Maybe instructions ahead of time and knowing that the pick up facility was going to be closed would have made things less stressful. This current process takes 4x longer for things to happen and when one is renting a uhaul it is because there is a lot of work to do;pack, move, unpack then return the vehicle. moving is stressful in itself. Not sure I'll use uhaul again since it was without personal service.
Bonnie DThe process to return a van takes too long. You ask questions then have the renter take pictures to verify everything. Seems redundant. Christian was very helpful in the process of picking up the van.
