The pick up lot is a bit small. Can be a challenge for a less experienced driver towing a trailer.

U-haul did me BAD wrong. I had an appointment to pick up my 26' truck at 925 Tn. 92 N. jefferson city, Tn. at 8:30 am. my friend and I waited 1,5 hours, no one showed up. I had to find another truck in another city. Meanwhile, I hired helpers from Christian brothers moving, they were on the clock from 8:30 that morning till 5:00 pm. They slapped on another $405 that they didn't work, because of the missed time that i waited for the U-haul truck, that was a no show, and we didn't get started loading till 11:30 am that morning. U-haul should be respondsible for that time. They gave me a $50 credit for my troubles. That $50 doesn't cover my $405 loss. Hire your own help, U-haul diffiently should be respondsible. They made the appointment for me to pick up the truck at that location.I guess the person who was supposed to open up that morning did not want to come to work that morning, so that makes me the loser, the consumer, the ones that pay their salaries. One of the CEO's of U-haul is worth just under $6 Billion. They won't accept any respondsibity for their wrong doings. U-haul SUCKS! I will never use them again. I wish you wouldn't either. I live off of disability only, I can't afford that kind of loss.

JOSIAH BThe inside of the back of the truck had a black soot all over the floor. It was all over the bottom of boxes when I arrived at my destination. I didn't know it until boxes were set on new carpet in my new home. Now I will have to pay a professional carpet cleaner to remove all the black marks on my carpet. What a mess!

BRANDON GFirst reservation i made for a truck + tow dolly on jully 6 order number 88279445 i had to drive about 2,5 hours to pick it up but it turned out they had no trucks and they told me my pickup location was changed to east side storage in marion nc but that location was closed. So about 5 hours of that day plus the gas used as well as a day of work. Also at that east side storage pickup location when i was finally able to pick up my 2nd try at a truck they told me ibhad till the end of the day of my second day to drop it off but the tennessee mobile home place called me and said i had to drop it off by 1pm. So they charged me another day of usage. I will never use u-haul again.

THOMASEDWARD SStore was advertised to open at 9:30am; staff didn't show up until almost 10:00am. While I was on the phone outside in my car trying to resolve reservation issues, staff member stood beside my car smoking a cigarette while my window was down trying to hold a conversation with me while I was obviously in the phone with someone. Other than the lack of awareness of other's personal space, staff was helpful in trying to help resolve U-Haul's last minute, reservation change with no notice given to new pick up location.
Jason SWipe out the interior of the truck to the console, dash, floor and seats are clean. Actually put the pads and dolly that were ordered, charged for, and billed, in the truck. If you don't have said parts- let the customer know asap.

HENRY HThe business suppose to open at 9am. And they didn't get there until 9:50am. I was there first and they took another person ahead of me and there was another person behind me not happy either. They were suppose to pick their truck at 9:30am. I reserved at truck and I was there at 9:00am. I finally left the store with the truck at 10:15. They also they took phone calls which slowed everything down. I suppose to have been at my destination at 10:30. Because we were paying the movers $120 hour. I would NOT recommend this location for Uhaul rental. Not professional, they act like they didn't care about your time. And I told them I was paying the movers $120 hour. Uhaul needs to pull their Uhauls from this business. This has been the worse experience I have ever had with Uhaul. Will NOT go back to that location. I will NOT rent from Uhaul again.

ESTHER TThere was no appliance or regular dolly available. But we had initially put a reservation for the 26' at the Do It Yourself on 25/70 which was a disaster due to a misunderstanding. The 139 location got us at least a truck.

PAT OThey showed up well after opening store hours and had no sense of urgency. We had to call corporate to help us while we sat in the parking lot waiting. Corporate was awesome to deal with, they even gave us a $50 credit due to our wait. Unfortunately it cost us a lot more as we were paying people to wait to load the truck. The truck smelled and was dirty. Upon searching where the odor was coming from I found a McDonalds bag with rotten food in it, 2 Gatorade bottles one which appeared to have chewing tobacco in it and the other was a yellow liquid that I believe was urine and a lot of other trash behind the seat. The truck box needed be cleaned due to some sticky substances. The people at the pick up location should be ashamed. Save yourself a lot of headache and do not pick up at this location.

Todd MThis location was recommended to us by Superior Towing, but we could not get a straight answer from the woman who answered the phone at Mobile Home Parts Store. Therefore we spent hours researching other locations before we found the 800 number for U-Haul. That phone agent was competent and found us the truck we wanted--at the Mobile Home Parts Store! It all worked out in the end, but felt like there was a lot of unnecessary runaround.
Jennifer HI rented a U-Haul because I needed a dolly and most U-Hauls come with a dolly but this one didn't. And the lady said that they didn't have one in any of the other trucks she didn't have one to rent me, she didn't have one to let me borrow, nor does she have one that I could buy. I just needed a dolly to go along with the U-Haul truck but we survived but I would not have rented from this U-Haul had I known they didn't have a dolly. Everything else was great
