All was very good
Betty WWe paid for a dolly and it was not with the truck. We picked it up before business hours so there was no way to report this. In the end we paid for something we didn't get.
Vinny DMake sure the app works. It didn't recognize the location on my device and wouldn't let me do the mobile truck share or checkout. The truck also said the parking brake wasn't working right since the light came on.
Joseph RThe driveway where my truck was parked is on an incline. It was very icy and it was difficult to get out of the lot. Lastly, after going through the return process on a browser on my phone, the U-haul site told me to finish the return process using the app. I downloaded and installed the app, but I did not see what I was meant to do on the app to finish returning the truck.
Arliss GThis was the second time in 2 weeks we returned a U-Haul vehicle to The Barbers lounge and there was nobody there!
Debra BIt was a nightmare. We had problems with the app at this location for 1 hour. We had to drive across the street to talk to customers service to help us through the process! This neighborhood area is dangerous and frightening! We will never go there again and the app didn't work at all. We had to use the website.

Lonnie HI have never had any issues in 30 years of dealing with U-Haul until today. If I check in online I just go in show my and im ready to go. I had to call the Grandview location to get assistance after waiting at the unopened location for 30 minutes. If I had known I had to take and upload photos of truck. ID ECT. I would have understood. But I was not informed online that I had to do that. The truck was perfect. It was just the time consuming process

John TThe dolly was not in the unit and the Barber's Lounge cannot assist with it. It may be better to rent from an actual Uhaul flagship store.

Andriy LWas easy pickup and return. Did not have the furniture covers I ordered. Truck did not drive smoothly. Thought the truck was going to break down before we were done.
Megan PLack of communication. It's not the location it's the emails. I had an email saying to return on Monday but I had went to pick up the truck early and no second email to update when the return date was so I though it was still on Monday but the new return date was Sunday. I still got charge for the extra day. No happy with the U-Haul system.
Gyee VCould not access self checkout of rental. Gas was below what was posted on contract. Representative showed up 30 minutes after they said they would open. Person on phone told me, "you might have a reservation, but you don't have a rental."

Nicole YThe store location gave me a broken truck even after I kindly requested to assign a different unit. Mileage and gas discrepancy was noted during initial check in, and I was not able to complete the process. Called customer service to advise with the horrible situation and I was advised to engage the store manager. It was pass 7PM when I was able to speak to live agent (Spent 45 min on hold listening to greeting before I was able to file my complaints) I have refused UHaul insurance as I have my own. Manger agreed to waive off $14 ins over the phone. Unfortunately, the manager failed to correct the record. Truck had no working A/C and I hard time time driving due to prior front end accident. This is absolutely a road and safety hazard. I end up turning back to house and dropping my load. Then taking it back to the store around 11:40 PM. I never rendered a proper service, and I end up grieving through the whole process. I did send a fact check text detailing all above items this morning to James @ 816 8382578. Zero communication from James except for $146 he charged me for renting the Junk truck. Very unprofessional service and extremely poor customer service . If UHaul will insistent on the above charge, then I will take a legal action including filing a complaint with BBB. Feel free to call me @ 8166040545 Thank you

Cynthia LThe location was not open on time. When the employee came he thought we were going to use our device to get the keys out of the box. But unfortunately I couldn't get that option to work. Come to find out the driver's license picture I uploaded was not readable but no where was I informed that on my by text or email. That would have been helpful so I could maybe have tried to upload it again and I wouldn't have had to sit and wait for the location to open.

Chris CThere was no key in the box. It took 90 minutes to get the truck key. When I got to my apt there was a padlock on the truck that we had to have cut off the next morning. This cost me movers, a hotel room, and 18 hours I didn't have. Very displeased.

Rollin SStaff at location were great, Corp and supervisors horrible, very stressful and not good customer service. Will use competition from now on.
Rachael HIt didn't feel like it was the best location for a person by themselves to be when trying to maneuver a contactless rental experience. Finally, a gentleman came out of either a lounge or barbershop, and assisted.
Kathy BTruck was dirty when I picked it up both cab and box. Still expecting a call from the district manager regarding rental rates. This was the worst experience I've ever had with this company. Quite possibly have lost my business due to poor customer service. And pick-up location situations. Would not recommend U-Haul at this time. Was told someone would call me and have not received that call.

Travis CThis location is unmanned and poorly ran. It took us an hour and a half to pick up the truck. We were never successful in reaching the folks at this location to spite spending no less than 3 hours on the phone not including the call I have to make today due to incorrectly being billed for items I did not have in my possession, ask for, or use. I have used U-Haul many times. This is the only time I have had a complaint. This location's online reviews are abysmal. I now know why and will be adding to them.

Robert MYour website, especially verification process, was terrible. No matter how many pics we captured and uploaded, on your end, were not readable. Had to open box and leave key without checking in.

Talisha SIt's a BARBER SHOP with a uHaul sign in the window. I opened the door and received looks like 'what are you here' and the guy told me to leave the key on the counter and continues cutting hair so we just left and didn't say anything.
james vI was to pick up the U-Haul at 9:30 am. However when I got there and clicked on my app at said the location doesn't open till 10 a.m. and to wait until then. In addition to that when I finally got the truck keys. I was told that the industrial appliance dolly that I had reserved that they did not have one available for me. But I could go down the road several miles to pick one up at a different U-Haul location. Thereby adding more time to my move. And I was on a limited time to get the move done.

george aI had originally booked to pick the equipment up at a different location and I reserved a dolly not a trailer. When I was about to leave to go get the truck the guy called me and did the confirmation over the phone. Then told me the keys were in the cupholder of the truck. I asked that someone be there to show me the truck and that I was 10 minutes away. When I showed up it was just a parking lot with a sign and there was no one around. I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up.
Colleen ZI was particularly impressed with the exemplary professionalism of Mr. James as he offered timely suggestions and was very thorough in ensuring I had a productive truck rental experience. I will definitely recommend him to my family members, friends, and associates.

Sean OWill never go.to that location again. Vehicle was dirty inside and out. Vehicle was on less than half a tank of fuel when picked up. Vehicle needed to be tuned up barely made 60 on the freeway with no load.
Douglas TTruck was really dirty and needs a wheel alignment. Breaks were also not very good.
Cireena WMake it more user friendly and not at the pub or barber shop which is not friendly to people of every ethnicity.
Jessica SCannot reach this location via phone and they do not contact you back. Mobile check-in prior to closing but staff would not release the keys without the owner's permission and they couldn't reach him. Three days later and I still have not received a call back from anyone at the rental site. Not only did they totally prevent our move from happening I now have to jump through hoops the get the money back on my card to rent elsewhere. Uhaul has been very helpful but I would not recomend this location to anyone ever if they were desperate.

firas iThe Owner was very nice and accomidating. I was very shock and caught off guard, but only because the truck was very nice and clean. Great to drive as well. I will be using them in the future for any moving needs.
