Truck was dirty, ABS lights coming on causing the cruse control not to work, and other service lights came on

DAN DShop was closed during return. Did follow online instructions but once again had trouble with the location part but your phone customer service lady Margret was superb and very helpful. In todays age unfortunately 95 % of phone customer service is "overseas" and very had to understand but not this call. Clear, friendly voice along with knowledge of what my issue was and took control of what I needed to do. Margret sent me an email quickly to reply to and was super helpful. I appreciate everything. Give Margret a raise! Thank You. George F

LARRY DWhen the trailer was picked up in Batavia NY the front right tire was soft. The attendant said it was sitting a long time and needed to be inflated, so she did. Turns out the tire leaked, and I had to be inflated every 300 miles. While there is a gas station on every corner, gas stations with a functioning air pump are very few and far between. The trip was lengthened, and a considerable annoyance having to worry and stop often to check and inflate. On close inspection at the return U-Haul station in Austin the tire was found to be worn out. Sending out a trailer on a 1600 miles trip with a bad tire is an irresponsible safety hazard.

Ed JReceptionist was very kind & did a nice job explaining we would be charge mileage overage. U Haul truck had check engine light on about 5 miles into move & probably due for service & muffler was loud.
Peter SThis was the worse and unsafe experience of my life. I consider the truck to be extremely unsafe. At speeds just 50 mph, the steering wheel would bounce and twitch uncontrollable.. Also the brakes pulsing problem. The brakes was a bad rotor. The steering wheel issue was a major problem, much more than wheel balance issue. Also the flat dolly which was ordered was unavailable . Now charged 12 extra miles which a result having ability use highways but limited speed. This truck need to be major serviced.
Daniel OWas kind of weird because I had to call a number and drop the keys but nothing bad happened like extra fees or anything so it’s all good.

Larry CI rented a 6x12 trailer with gate ramp Website says trailer width is 6'2"(74 inches) But The gate was only 54" wide I needed 60" clearance. Put gate width on website and specify ball hitch size conspicuously.

richard EThe business hours should align with what they are supposed to be. Also, instead of tacking on fees to everything uhaul associated, just have them in the base price. I felt extremely mislead that the uhaul base price started in the $20s and I ended at $115 plus gas. Total invested in the uhaul experience was close to $140. Just have all of the fees in the starting price so after the cost of gas, there isn't much of a difference. I'll probably look into other methods the next time I need it.
Amanda WThe staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. In terms of improvement, I have no recommendations for the staff or site. However, if a renter has to drive 40 miles out to a location to pick up their reserved equipment and then drive 40 miles back to load the truck, maybe give them more than a 50 mile leeway on total mileage.
Anthony Cour couch cushions were soaked and we wish you had told us the roof leaked.

Claude BThe gentleman behind the counter was working alone detailing cars and everything else. Although he was busy he never lost his cool. He performed his duties with a friendly professional attitude. I would definitely rent from him again.
