Make directions more clear. Hard to find lockbox, even harder to find Uhaul entrance. Employees in the stationery store are racist and give off KKK vibes. This is not he 1800s, black people exist and you have to socialize with them! Get over it. I will let everyone in my neighborhood know to avoid this Uhaul location unless they want to be lynched from a nearby tree.Philipia M.

The ladie at costumer service very rude to me , i did everything thru the u-haul app and when i returned the van she told me that because of me her screen kept freezing . Also i followed signs to return the van i she complaint that i didn't leave where she expected, i told her i followed the signs!Bilcar B.
Check in took a bit longer than expected and the gas gauge was marked incorrectly when we took the vehicle, but other than that it was fine! Wendy was great about correcting said issue.CARRIE W.

Wendy was nice but the location is terrible. The truck was in horrible shape mechanically but at least it was clean. I drove 60 miles and I saw both the check engine lights and ABS braking system came on and off. The steering wheel was approximately 45 degrees off to the left so it made driving a nightmare.ATHANASIOS P.

1. the information provided after initial reservation is inadequate and confusing. 2. it took us 45 minutes at to obtain our key at the box using your mobile system. it required information that we did not have readily available. 3. your telephone hotline is also inadequate and difficult to access and generally not helpful. 4. we would highly recommend that you re-evaluate your mobile pickup procedure and processes.Michael C.

I really feel fortunate to have had such a great experience with this u haul rental. They had just the type truck I needed, as well as the material that made my work easier. The manager was very helpful, professional, and easy to understand and work with. She made some useful recommendations. I certainly will use this u haul location for all my moving needs. Wendy has TERRIBLE customer service. Our entire encounter she had an attitude! I work with people all day everyday and the customer service i was given would have been unacceptableâ€¦ she dealt with me as if she was tired of her job and dealing with U Haul customersâ€¦ she asked me unnecessary questions that had nothing to do with my U Haul rental that made me extremely uncomfortable!!!!!ZAINA R.

Have no idea what these people are doing w/ a Uhaul franchise , as they are a paper store. Owner acted like I was inconveniencing her when I cane to return the 6x 12 ft trailer and told me " you and I can unhook it." Wrong! The 6 x 12s are heavy and cumbersome. I'm 63 years old.Ann F.

Customer care was at the forefront of a very small outpost location. This individual was excellent in being sure customers were handled well and informed. This an incredibly tiny back where the woman thrives despite the office. The location is very convenient.Jocelyn A.

The location was very hard to find. The woman running it was incredibly over-sensitive. I had a very frustrating experience and while I wasn't in a pleasant mood, I was far from even remotely rude or disrespectful and she broke out into tears and was threatening to cancel my truck. Speaking of the truck, it had pretty serious transmission issues. While she did try and make it up by giving me extra blankets, it was just not a good experience, and the truck not driving properly made the job more and unnecessarily difficult.MITCHELL B.

Make the location easier as far as where the equipment is parked, make the process easier as far as renting out equipment and make your customer service people nicer and offer more training as i had a negative experience with the person that spoke to me.Anna G.

I couldn't return the truck because the system seemed down all day, so I had to go several times trying to complete it but it was til next day and then got charged for two days. The location is not the problem..the uhaul interface is super user unfriendly. My pick up location was switched two days in advance..nowhere near my location..and on top of that it took us an hour to get the truck from the lock box at the new location!Nataliya K.
When someone makes a reservation, you should not switch their reservation at the last minute. Reservations should be final unless the customer cancels or make any changes. I needed a 15' to move to Virginia and they changed the size of my truck and the price. How do you do that when I am counting on a truck to move? I was not happy. I thank the Manager at the Boston Avenue location for finding me a truck. You should give him a raise. Also thank the girl at the Stratford location if it wasn't for them going the extra mile I wouldn't have had a truck.KASSON W.

Took 30 minutes to check in in the morning and was very frustrating considering I was sitting there with a small childSeann M.
When I rented online, I requested a truck and two dollies. When I picked up the truck, I was told that they had no dollies and then we spent 20 minutes trying to find an outlet with dollies. I ended up having to drive to Bridgeport to get a dolly. This put my schedule back by over an hour. Trying to coordinate a move from one Assisted living Center to another, I was then off my scheduled time and greatly lengthened by day. I should have been notified that the equipment was not available. I would not recommend that anyone use the Stratford site. I will use the Bridgeport site in the future.Wayne T.

Lady that works there tired to charge for a rust spot on the vehicle that was there prior to picking up. After i told her we have pictures of the truck before we pulled it off the lot, Her response to the rust quickly changed. I wonder how many other people she charged with that rust spot.
