The van was in good working order fortunately, but the 2 front seats were covered in white cat hair and the floor was covered with beach sand. The entire back of the van was covered in beach sand that was pressed in so deeply that we couldn't "blow" it out. We used a beach towel on the driver's seat and a blanket on the floor of the cargo section to protect our clothing and our stuff. Not at all a good experience.

ELSIE M.Had an appt at 9:30am, arrived at 9:20, however only person to help me felt that to continued changing tires in the shop was more important than my appt. I had to wait until 10:00 for jim to assist me, made me feel his business does not respect the good name of u-haul, I felt as a 2nd class customer. I also wanted 3 dozen blankets, I was given only 2 and yet at least 6 he put back in the storage room, he could have given me 2 1/2 dozen. I would never recommend this place to anyone and U-Haul should reconsider your goid name inside this location. While standing in there so long, I did learn a small bit about rims and inability to get then based on shipping issues, however I do believe I would trade that for just mskimg my appt when I know he could have done that. He did walk out at 9:45 and was informed I was waiting for U-Haul pickup, however he just went back out to the shop and continued changing tires...not a great experience at all.

The truck was nice and clean, and drove very well ! I did not understand why I could not get the van, but the truck was sufficient ! I will continue to be a UHaul costumer as needed ! Thank You !
james W.The phone to the uhaul call in center had poor quality of audio sound. Difficult to hear service representative. The trailer was not properly maintained with maintenance. Wheel would shake from not from being loose but dangerously loose.

SCott L.At the Main Dothan AL store, I requested a 6x12 trailer. The person at the desk looked on computer and stated that they didn't have one. Never offering to look at other locations around the city until I ask. I feel that I shouldn't have to remind a Uhaul employee to check other locations. In fact, another location had one and I went and picked it up there.

David W.I initially requested a 15 foot truck from the location at 1402 Montgomery Hwy in Dothan, Alabama. Less than 24 hours prior to picking up the truck I received a text telling my time had changed from 0700 to 1600 on the same day. I called the store and they told me that is what they had. I explained to the lady that my initial email and subsequent emails showed 0700. She said she would not get a 15 foot truck until 1600. She turned the issue over to the another group and gave me a 1-800 number to call if they didn't call me later in the day. No one called by 1600 so I called and spoke to a very nice lady. After some discussion, she found me a 20 foot truck at another location. This was great. What I think you can learn from this is that I got the same excuse from all three people I talked to about this problem. The main excuse is that they are not sure when people are going to bring trucks back and that they have no control over it. I had to recommend solutions to the lady at the 1-800 number so I could get a truck.
