Don't change my pick up and drop of location less than 24 hours before my moving day. I had to drive 40 minutes out of my way to pick up the truck instead of it being a mile from my house. Then after my pick up I was notified my drop of location wasn't able to take a truck as large as mine. Then why was I able to select the original location? You caused me a lot of unneeded stress on my moving day. I think you should cover the money for the extra gas I had to use driving to further locations than I scheduled. I will not be using your service again in the future.
Christopher WynneThere is zero adjustment in the driver's seat. The cab is extremely cramped and uncomfortable. My back was killing me after driving 4 hours to my destination - with a break for lunch in the middle of trip. I fail to understand why U-Haul has not been required to add hands free capabilities to all of their rental trucks and vans by now. This is a requirement in almost every state and definitely in Rhode Island where I rented the vehicle. Car rental companies have been providing the ability to connect iPhone and Android devices and display mapping information and have hands free calling for many years. Why has this not been done with your rental trucks?
Greg SpitzerI experienced difficulty with the self check-in with the app. Fortunately, the lovely lady who opened the office at 9 am, and got us on the road immediately. If you use the self check-in BE ON TIME. Otherwise you will not be able to use it at all.

PAUL GACCIONEI wish I knew the guys name behind the desk so I could write it here, but I do not. Whoever he is, his customer service is terrible. He always has an attitude with you and the last three times I have rented from this location he has messed up the order in someway. Yesterday, he mixed up the paperwork and had someone else sign my rental agreement for the wrong truck. Then when he finally straightened it out, I went to get my truck and the dolly and furniture pads were not in it. When I went back to the office to tell him that , he said well they are right here. Just take these. If he would've done his job properly, they would've been loaded into the truck prior to me picking it up. Then when I return the truck, I was using the mobile app as I did during pick up and some other worker came running out and told me to stop, they asked what credit card I used to complete the order because apparently something else was messed up with the billing and the card that was on my account was actually for someone else. I only use this location because it is the most convenient to me, but if I had a better option, I would definitely take it.

paul marcilTruck was in decent condition. There was a small bag filled with garbage in the truck. Truck definitely showed "wear and tear" but nothing of major concern. It got the job done.

wendy buckThis experience was horrible. Nothing to do with the location. The app kept malfunctioning on pickup. My equipment was missing. The battery died after being parked for 24 hours. Roadside service never showed and one of my pets died due to the lack of service. It was a temperature sensitive animal and was stuck in the cold due to the non responsive roadside assistance. When dropping off the truck my all wouldn't work again. The only good part was Tamika the customer service rep. She was very kind and helpful.

Donta BakerUHaul should think long and hard about the "MovingHelp" part of its business. We paid for two helpers to aid unloading, for two hours, and they never showed up. This experience makes me think very negatively about UHaul (given you get a percent cut of every MovingHelp contract)

Tiffany McraeThe man working when I picked up on 9/29 was extremely rude and unhelpful. He actually made me cry during a very stressful time as moving can be emotionally, physically and financially draining. He did not go over any policies with me, we did not inspect the vehicle prior to departure (it was not clean and the alignment and steering were off to the point where it did not feel safe), and he did not address my concerns even after asking multiple times. The woman working during drop off was pleasant but I would never recommend this location to anyone.

BRUCE BILOThere should be information about needing to pick up your uhaul on time or you can lose your reservation. I set up my time for pick up just so it would be ready for 10:00. I had no idea you can lose your reservation if your not there within 15 minutes of the pick up time. Luckily no one took my reservation but it would have been really bad if I couldn't have moved all the stuff for the wedding. The office staff was really nice and helpful.

The cost of the rental was reasonable and the vehicle itself was clean and well maintained. The truck even got great gas mileage! I was very pleased with the entire process. The person who helped me at the point of service was very nice and made the process easy.

All my "stuff" survived years of NE seasonal temperature change with good results when I finally unearthed my possessions. It is a safe and secure setting and the folks that run this business are lovely people. I highly recommend!!!
