Improve your online reservation application. You don't tell the customer until a day or two later the equipment requested is not available for at the location requested. Your current online reservation process is extremely frustrating!!!!!! If you had competitors, you would have lost me as customer many times.

The only thing that I have a problem with is the price change in a very short period of time. I used the same size trailer two times. In April I paid 309.00 and in June I had to pay 398.00 for the same distance. I was dissapointed that the price changed so much. I'm looking at renting the same size trailer at least three more times in the coming year and hope it doesnt go even higher. Otherwise I was treated awesome by both dealers and really felt safe with the trailers I rented Thank you

The owner, Dave I think, went above and beyond helping us out with our Uhaul rental including giving us a breakdown for a hitch for our car. He including researching what the weight capacity was for our particular car. The initial conversation on the phone, with I believe his son-in-law, was also just as satisfying. He was pleasant and very informative.

When you promise to call a customer with a drop off change - actually do it! The only reason I found out that my drop off location had been changed was that I called the original drop off people to clarify directions and she told me. So, the criticism I have is not of the locations, but of your organization.

The next morning, after I'd driven the truck one mile, the check engine light came on. No one was available at the pick up site to address this so I had to call Roadside Assistance. The woman who helped me was very nice, and suggested I stop in Providence, an hour away but on my way home, to have the issue checked out. By this time, I was already off schedule. I took the detour but there was no one at this facility who could diagnose the issue. This put me further behind schedule. Very frustrating.

The U-Haul operators (The Storage Connection Westerly, RI) are unstable (Wife) and Intimidating (Husband). I had gone to the U-Haul rental place near my home where I had reserved a trailer a month in advance. I was told that I had been notified a few days before that the trailer was not there but in Westerly (I had not see the notification). The operator at this location was apologetic and very helpful with directions, etc.. When I arrived at Westerly I explained the situation and said I was upset as this had never happened to me before. In response to my question the operator at the counter (wife) said U-Haul does not move assets around unless the district manager sees a big problem. I complained that it took me over an hour to get down to Westerly and would take me 45 minutes to get home putting me behind schedule for my drive to Virginia. The wife snidely says " it does not take an hour to get here from Coventry." I said it does if there is a 30 minute back up on I 95 due to construction. Out of no where she cops an attitude and tells me " you can't talk to me like that!" I say like what...and I am the customer. She says leave the store and get your trailer some where else. I say I would leave in a New York minute if I could get the trailer any where else. She says I am going to call my husband. He is off some where and she phones him and tells him she has a rude customer and can he came back to the store. She tells me to get out and wait in the car. I say nothing and I do not leave. She says do not stare at her. I look at the wall. Eventually she fills out the paper work. Another customer comes in and I leave. Her husband has arrived and follows me outside. He says to me in a threatening manner "looks like I need to teach you some manners", as I am getting in my car he says "what are you looking at...?" and takes a step toward me. I say nothing. I drive to the back of the property and hook up the trailer my self. I drive back to office and load the furniture blankets myself and leave. I have been renting equipment from U-Haul for over 30 years and have never been treated like this. In fact I have never been treated like this by any one I was doing business with... the clerk/operators of a U-Haul rental location actually threatened me. Your operators at this store are trouble and should not be representing U-Haul (or any other company) in any capacity. I expect U-Haul will find themselves in a law suit at some point if these two continue to run your store. I have portrayed this incident accurately, up to U-Haul to take appropriate action with there employees/operators, but I will never rent from this store again.

I will like to inform anyone who is renting out of this location to be very mindful and take an immediate picture of the fuel tank. I was ripped off $14.03 to be exact. I was being considerate to not bother the receptionist/saleslady behind the counter who was watching over her own baby and tell her that the fuel tank was not what it read on the paperwork. I thought I will bring to her attention when I returned the van but unfortunately I was not able to discuss the matter because when I returned the van at 4:15pm they had already close the store although the sign read that they close at 4:30pm . To my surprise my credit card was charged more than expected.
