Doug CNone of the equipment I ordered was in the truck. So packing took longer than expected, it forces me to miss a full day of work because it took longer. When I called Uhaul about picking up equipment to unload the truck I was told I could not do that. So unloading also took longer than expected.

Tim LAlthough I got the truck that's was needed, I did not appreciate the extra hour out of my way it took to get the truck. The truck was booked over the phone (not online) - so I would expect a truck to be at the location I rented it from. The day before I'm supposed to pick it up I get a call that there are "no trucks" at my rental location. I did get a truck but had to drive 30 minutes farther to pick it up and another 30 to come back to load it. THAT IS REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Uhaul should have been the ones to get it to the proper location (not the customer). Other than that it was a good experience.

Kathleen MBellevue to Tiffin is very inconvenient for me and my family. When I called to set this up I requested l Clyde OH which is 10min from my location. I heard a friend got this location who planned at a latter time Sandusky Ohio would also have been a much better location and more convenient for me.

Sally LI had no problems with the pick up location or the personnel at that location. Kurt at Tiffin Auto Service did a great job. However, I ordered my truck and equipment over 3 weeks ahead of my move with a pick up location of Rock Run Bulk Foods in Tiffin, OH. I was notified less than 48 hours before my move that the equipment could be picked up in Willard, OH which is a one hour and 15 minute round trip drive from my requested location. I was told they would be unable to transport the truck to Tiffin. So instead of a 26 ft. truck I had to settle for a 15 ft. truck from Tiffin Auto service. I had ordered 2 furniture dollies and they told me none would be available. Turns out that Kurt did have one available. Thank God as it was crucial to safely completing parts of our move. I ordered 1 doz furniture pads and 6 were provided although I was charged for 12. There were 12 more in the truck that were sealed but I assumed breaking the seal would have been an extra $10 charge. For my inconvenience I was given $.69/mile instead of $.99/mile. A savings of approx. $8.00.

Chuck RWe dropped off our uhaul trailer ahead of the assigned time, on a Saturday at noon. No one was there to take our paperwork and close out the sale so we took pictures, dropped the keys in the drop box and called and left a voicemail to assure we turned it in. The following Monday we got charged a late fee for a whole day and it's been a nightmare trying to figure out ever since. The associate wasn't helpful at all over the phone and we are still back and forth constantly with the Tiffin uhaul management branch trying to figure out where our refund is. I would suggest if you have people returning uhaul's when no one is at the shop, let them know ahead of time so they aren't confused as to what to do next.

Louis HI was charged $631 for a one way trip after I found out that bringing the trailer back would only cost me $150! That's highway robbery! It's rediculous to charge a customer 5x the rate for a one way trip instead of a two way! I'll NEVER use U-haul again not will I recommend them!
Cameron TFirst off, the tiny location couldn't fit more than two of us, the customer in front of us got double charged , the location is attached to some mechanic shop and was overwhelmed with the smell of paint and oil it made me sick, the customer in front of us was granted and dolly and we were not asked. As for the truck we were told it had a full tank of gas it only had half a tank, so that took and extra 10 minutes to change after waiting 25 mins because they couldn't get the customer in front of us off the lot smoothly. As for the truck it was the worst uhual truck I've ever driven and I've driven more than 5, the brakes squealed outrageously and the steering wheel when turned felt like the steering well was going to snap off, when turned it thumped and vibrated like something was going to snap. It had a hard time shifting it felt like it was going to stall and when it did shift it was violent. Also the floor under the pedals and the center console after about 25 minutes of driving would get extremely hot to the point I couldn't rest my leg on the console and had to keep my feet off the ground because it was so hot it was making my shoe hot. All of this made our hour and 40 minute drive nerve wrecking and are very disappointed and left scared.

Danny REvery single part of what we ordered was incorrect. We were given the wrong truck and then charged hundreds of dollars for damage from a previous renter. My mother, who rented the truck, has no legs and is being charged for damage not caused by any of us. This place does business like an ape. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
