The guy said that typically they charge for helping to remove auto transports, but that he'd do it this time for free. He was nice about it, but it caught me off guard because everyone else I had spoken to at Uhaul previously said that Uhaul would help attach/detach the auto transport for free.Nicholas T.

They told me to park my vehicle in wet grass/mud and I wound up being stuck once returning with the truck. It took four grown men to push my car out. The system was down when I got there so we went back and forth for over 40 minutes just to get me in a truck. The location was switched on me at last minute because of equipment shortages... never again...Marsha H.

This comment isn't for this location but overall uhaul must provide better over the phone customer service. Even the supervisor was unprofessional over the phone. My past experience makes me no longer want to use uhaul for my moving needs.Tiffany J.

Truck was a "RENT A WRECK". I'm a mover...this truck should not be on the road. Loose steering, tow/haul not working, poor shifting, weak reverse. But very clean on the inside.Robert R.
I was originally quoted 162 miles included with the rental when I checked out with the online reservation. When I returned the truck, I was not informed of anything other than "is the gas where you got it and the mileage okay?". I then got an email charging me extra for miles over the rental agreement (~140 total), because the rental only included ~120. I was not pleased.Benjamin S.

The published telephone number associated with this location , they do not answer the telephone. My pickup was scheduled for 7:15 am and I was trying to confirm my reservation was ready because the last time I had a reservation at this location, the trailer was not there / available and I had to go across town to another location. After calling for over an hour, I finally drove to the location. The polite young man behind the counter informs me that that numbers rings to the manager's / owner's home. He then begins to enter my info using his cell phone instead of the notebook on the counter behind him which is still broken reportedly since Jan 2018 as noted by another customer review that encountered the same issue. In using the cell phone, he encountered technical issues that kept kicking him out of the Uhaul system and he has to start registration / rental process over again. This happened three(3) times causing me to wait at least 45 mins. After his 2nd attempt, he called the manager/ owner of the location for assistance. This was frustrating standing there giving him the same info three(3) times. After his 3rd attempt, he said he was sorry for the technical issue, and I should come back later in the evening to process my rental when the manager / owner would be there. Being quite annoyed and upset, I asked for the manager / owner telephone number to report the issue. He apologizes and start the rental process from his location. He has a issue entering my card info. After his 3rd attempt, he asks to speak to the young man behind the counter. They briefly converse in a foreign language and the the young man tells me that I can take the trailer. I get no assistance in hooking up the trailer to my vehicle. I have to do it myself. Whenever I have rented from Uhaul, there has always been an employee that inspected / connected / verified the condition of the equipment before leaving the location but not here.Ronnie E.

I had ordered blankets, box dolly and a furniture dolly. When we picked it up none of those items were in the truck. I sent my son back down the next day to get the furniture dolly and he came back with a box dolly and 4 blankets. Which I didn't need anymore. I needed them the night before and I still got charged for the box dolly. My son said the agent wasn't going to charge me for the other items. I haven't even check it that was correct, because I was so pissed about the whole experience.Evan B.

-Waited for 30 minutes because the system was down. Had to re enter all of my information even though I had entered all of this online. Staff were helpful but never apologized for the computer issues or the wait time. I understand that computer issues happen, but there was no customer service that acknowledged how long the process was or the fact that I had to give my card information 3 times. It all felt ridiculous and I would not recommend this location. Not related to this location but in general, my entire pick up experience was terrible. I created my reservation one week in advance and opted for an after-hours location, understanding that I would need to have my mobile phone and would walk through the pickup process myself. When I arrived at the location, I was unable to complete check-in. When I called the helpline, the manager assured me I just needed to keep hitting "continue" even though I explained to her this was not an option. We hung up so I could try again and immediately she calls me right back to say that she now sees why I could not complete check-in because the reservation was messed up and they set the truck up for an in town move. This was extremely frustrating since the reservation had been made a week prior, I received 3 confirmation emails and also spoke to someone on the phone the day before to confirm my reservation. It was always clear that my drop off was Washington DC. The manager then tells me there is a location down the road that has a truck but they are closing at 7pm (it is 6:55 at this point) but if we can catch the staff we might be able to get the truck. We race down the road and catch a staff member who is closing up but the computers are already shut down and he cannot help us. I speak on the phone with the manager again and she finds me another location 25 minutes away that is open and has a truck. I drive to this location and see review above. Overall it was extremely frustrating. Why all of the confirmation and calls ahead of time to not get it right? Moving is stressful enough and instead of simply picking up my Uhaul near my house and packing it up, I spent two hours chasing down different Uhaul places and waiting for computers that were down. I understand that things sometimes happen and it is not always perfect. That's fine. But my issue is really that throughout the process no one ever apologized or took the time to explain that this was not the norm or address my frustrations. I work in customer service and just find this unacceptable.Donna D.
