No rental tools ie dolly, appliance dolly, blankets, all i paid for in the reservation. None of that was available. Truck was dirty both in the cab and the box at the time of rental. I swept it out prior to return.

CHRISTOPHER M.The people were great! However the parking access for the large vehicles sucks. Parking is on either side of the entry to the gas station. Vehicle had 171k of real hard miles. Truck made all kinds of squawk, squeaks, rattles etc. The drink holder was crap and having the gas tank on the passenger side just sucks, hard to figure out where to stop for the fillet cap.

John A.1. The workers at the Dunkirk Amoco were surly and seem extreamly put-off that they had to rent out the trailer. Equipment was poorly maintained and the printer either didn't work or the person operating wasn't familiar with its operation to get the printer to work. 2. The trailer was filthy. It has gelatinous residue all over the bottom inside of the trailer. It had to be washed down and cleaned before use. Upon telling the worker, she said "Oh well" and dismissed it. This was the worse customer service for a U-Haul ever. 3. Remove the franchise from this location. Filthy, ill-run, uncaring individuals.
Nathan K.I do have a complaint about another u haul location. I went to drop off the closed trailer at a uhaul dealer at 8964 Boyd's Turn Rd Owings Md. They would not accept the trailer due to lack of space. What use is this dealer if they can “pick/choose†what they accept? Outside of this. I had absolutely no complaints.

jerome G.I opted out of the 20' because you showed a 15' so close to my house. I booked this truck with a dolly two weeks in advance. I received a call the night before pick up and was told the location changed and pick-up was now 20 miles away instead of 3. I was told 20 miles would be added, although, the lady verbally told me an incorrect number. She also mentioned nothing about the dolly so I assumed it would be there. Wrong the gas station I picked up did not have a dolly and the lady also said I would not be getting 20 extra miles. Then I call Uhaul and they state my order did not show a dolly although it clearly is shown in my email. She then told me I'd have to drive an additional 10 miles to the closest dolly. I was awarded 30 miles so this made up for it. I also accidentally overfilled the tank by about $40 worth and I can prove this through the photos I took of when I filled up the gas and when I returned the Uhaul. Due to my inconvenience, I would appreciate a refund of $40 to cover the extra gas I added in the Uhaul for the company.

When I brought this to his attention he said “nothing I can do about that.†Had to add 2 qts. of oil on my own. Returned the truck after hours but they called me looking for the truck instead of checking their lot.

Matthew J.asked for drop off location and could not give me any info. Advised to call corporate line to get assistance. Called 12 times for a total of 3 1/2 hours to get through on hold. Rep could not give me any drop off location for trailer. Hung up called bacj k another 5 times and finally got someone who could help. He said no drop off locations near me. I checked and found several in the area but he was unwilling to call. I finally got a hold of someone at the location I dropped it off and they advise the customer service # should have done this for me. So i wasted over 5 hours trying to return a trailer 15 minutes from where I was. WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN and will not recommend anyone from using your company Horrible customer service.

I relocated to Dunkirk for work, I have rented multiple trucks and each time you online reservations did not allow me to drop the truck at this location. The closest option was 20+ miles away. It was very inconvenient. I do not understand why I cannot drop a truck in the very town I am relocating to.

quincy D.The help provided at this location was pretty bad. I asked the clerk whether or not the trailer had electron brakes to determine if I needed additional electrical hookups. He was clueless and seemed bothered by my question. I finally got him to walk out to the trailer as I thought maybe that would make a light go off in his head. No Luck. I finally realized that the trailer had a brake that would be activated if the trailer became detached from the truck. When I asked him what the thing on the front of the trailer was, I was told it was a shock absorber.

Ryan B.I made a reservation for 8am. I go there and I'm told the lady who handles rentals isn't coming til 9am. I waited around til 9 and the cashier said he called her and she's still at home. They ended up taking care of it without her. The tank was less than 3/4 full in the truck. I barely drive it but put $20 in the tank and returned it. I now see that I've been charged $93 somehow. The whole experience was a total joke and I'd like to be forwarded a receipt so I can see how I'm being charged $93. They couldn't give me one at the location for some reason. If it's for fuel I'm going to go in there and demand it be taken off my bill. How in the hell does someone make a reservation for 8 and can't be given a key til 9:15?
