Scott BIt would be easy to say "Well it's the only game in town", which it is, but Dwayne runs a good operation. I have rented from him several times over the last year. Equipment has always be clean, ready to go and with no 'surprises'. I have never had to settle on a unit other than the one I wanted. He has a good variety of equipment. I have done location and mobile pickups as well as in-shop and mobile drop offs. The U-Haul systems work. While they may seem a bit convoluted they all have their reasons and are manageable. U'Haul Russell delivers exactly what U-Haul Corporate promises. A small operation with big performance.

JOHN CThis location in Russell was good. However my initial reservation was for the location at 2025 44, Spencerville, ON K0E 1X0. When I went to pick up the vehicle that morning I could not access or move the vehicle I originally reserved because of the ice and snow. It was stuck and I could not drive it. It would not move. I reserved this vehicle well in advance and it should have been cleared out so I could access is. I am not happy with the service at that location and despite the good service received in Russel I do not know if I would use U-Haul again. I had to cancel this reservation and drive all the way to Russell to pick up another one. Because of this I had to incur extra mileage on the vehicle as I was now having to drive an additional distance.
Deborah LThis location did not have the dollie that was required. I had to rent the heavy dollie for fridges etc.
Trevor KDidn't want to rent the trailer because the sticker on the12 years old truck hitch wasn't there anymore. Didn't want to follow our truck instructions manual nether. Had to call his boss so we can have the trailer. I won't go there anymore.
Jason CAdditional equipment was not available for rental on site without prior notice, but otherwise had great service.
Melissa LFather n son team, very nice people. Would have no problem dealing with uhaul again. Only setback ,my wife finds bad display of resale products, floor last cleaned in Year 2000. Not welcoming for the other 50 % of customers. Pride in your business I'm sure will be upgraded in our younger generation.

DAVID MI called the road side and they pushed back the time twice. I had to wait until 7:30 at night to get my problem resolved when I called at just before lunchtime.
MARC LAfter booking a truck for two days at a different location about a month in advance, U-haul called us to inform that our truck was no longer available. This was only two days before our move. We were told that if we drove out in the country we could have a truck for just 24 hours, no more. We are very dissatisfied with the lack of care taken by U-haul. Very, very disappointing.
