Very helpful and friendly
MONIQUE DMy pick up was late because the person wasn’t there and I only received 4 out of 6 blankets when I paid for half a dozen.
Jen TI informed the location that we would be travelling on the Coquihalla mountain pass and required good tires and well maintained truck. He told me he was giving us the best truck. However, the tires did not look safe for the winter conditions and chains were not on the truck or offered. This caused serious delay for our move.

LISA KI reserved and selected a drop off location and AFTER I PAID you moved the drop off location TO ANOTHER CITY and didn’t even notify me and I only saw this by seeing it in the emailed contract along with a note saying I’d be charged extra if I returned the truck to THE LOCATION I SELECTED on YOUR SITE which was available when I reserved it.

MARGARET SI rented a 20 foot truck. It broke down you gave me a 26 foot truck for the same price which was nice but I also reserve two dollies and when my 20 foot truck broke down you gave the dollies away and I could not use them. Very disappointing.

DAVID GI loved the Mobile check out and check in. The small hiccup was I didn't check to see if the dolly I rented for $16 was in the back. It wasn't. I couldn't navigate how to state that at the drop off.

HENSON GHave the options to have seperate transactions cash and credit card or debit. Uhaul almost stranded me in Vancouver because they would not take cash or separate transactions. This must STOP! the extra stress was not worth it and the dealer seemed to be "stuck" on the stringent rules Uhaul has. I will probably rent Budget or Enterprise from now on due to lack of understanding of the problem plus uhaul is run by the US and should be run by Canadians.
MICHAEL MBim assisted me and was very helpful with the paperwork through to connecting the trailer to my hitch and checking the lights with me.
STEWART OI was never given a code for the truck share on my app. I didn't have that option online for some reason even though I was scheduled to pick the truck up after hours. I got my truck almost 3 hours late. My movers had to stay an hour late. During this time I called U-Haul multiple times and was put on hold for 2 hours total. Finally, someone was able to help and called someone after hours to come to the location to help me with the truck. It took that person 40 minutes to get to the location when I was told 15-20 minutes. After I returned the truck, I received a call from the U-Haul location saying I didn't drop the truck/trailer off? They called back 3 times. I guess they found it because I never got a call back after that. Probably one of the most stressful moving experiences of my life.

Roland MZero issues with the location. U-Haul corporate changed around our reservation from a one way to a round trip, and tried to tell me the trailer was unavailable until 2pm, and then when I told them that wouldn't work, it was magically going to be ready at 8am when this location opened.
DALE REquipment was not working … I have to wait for 2 hours over there really bad experience…. Person on location was really helpful… he told me this is one way equipment.. it is not well maintained … he work really hard to repair that equipment.

DAVID JCheck in was quick; trailer was loaded onto my vehicle right away; office is a bit hard to find as it's in a complex of buildings, but you just follow the Uj-Haul equipment.
DONALD PTruck was dirty to start with, other peoples half full water bottles were left inside the cab. Windows were so dirty from bugs on the outside it needed to be cleaned first.
ROBERT LIt was difficult to find..its at back of complex and even after seeing uhaul vehicles, finding office was not obvious. Once inside still wasnt sure i was at a uhaul. Could not find anyone at desk.. wandered back outside.. looking around...finally someone showed up. Seems like a single employee.. has to leave desk for each customer.. arriving customers have no one there to recieve them till employeee returns. I was renting a 5x8 open trailer. I have for past 5 seasons from various uhaul locations .. to haul yard trimings. This was the worst rental experience. Office staff didnt know what they were doing.. He asked me for my name and phone number.. i was confused.. you already have all my info in my account and reservation. He was entreing my info in the additional reference fields.. it refused to accept my phone number. Then he insisted I had to provide a second reference...name & phone. I was not prepared to provide any other persons info ... not without their knowledge Ive never had to do this before. Then the office staff took a phone call and stopped processing my rental for 5+ minutes Other customers were stacking up. It took almost 1/2 hour to pick.up the trailer. What is point of online booking if it doesnt speed up the process. I will never use that location again.
Michael SAlthough the location was a little bit difficult to find, the service made up for it!. The people at the reception on July 24 th and 25th/2024, took their time to help us over the phone and in person, so that our moving was a success. They were knowledgable, kind and flexible when we were delayed. We will be coming back to this particular location just to have these two folks attend to us.

Keith JNothing I can really think of, everything worked out very well for me. I was quite happy with the fact that the pickup location was a repair Depot as well so the trailer was completely gone over before I took it.

Axel AI was charged more on the spot as opposed to the rate given to me from the staff at the Barnet Hwy location, had to pay it because it was my moving day and I didn't have a choice. I was given a completely run down 20 foot truck that while going up the hill I would step on the gas and the maximum speed it could reach was 25 miles/hour. Try that if you have to travel the Coquihalla Hwy! The huge Rigs would all pass me as I slowly travelled on the right lane! I am a senior women travelling alone and they assigned me a LEMON TRUCK! Shame on you UHAUL!

Anmolpreet SOn Feb 10 I rented a truck for 48 hrs. I was told return time was 8pm. I dropped truck off at 5:45 Feb 11. On Feb 12 I received my receipt and was checked in at 7 am Feb 12 and charged a $20 Late fee. I sent a screenshot with timestamp of the mileage that I had sent when I returned truck. Clearly showing 5:45. I received no reply. I left it as I knew I was renting again Feb 24. Upon arrival I enquired about overcharge. I was told they would credit me $20 on the days rental. I dropped the truck off early again and a few hours later received notice that the charges for U-Haul totalling $204,73 was approved. I had been charged a wrong drop off fee. I contacted them immediately and they said oh we didn't do that. We will get it corrected. It was corrected but I still have not received the $20 credit for the first rental. These are the only 2 times I have ever rented from U-Haul and they will be the last. There is zero reason during a move that I should have several hundred dollars tied up in errors on my credit card. Also the drop off location below is not where I rented the truck from nor where I was told to drop it off it was dropped off and picked up from same location both rentals.
Laurie Dtruck smelt bad the side window was broken to begin with.. and poor customer service manager had to come from his house to talk to us at the office..? my debit card was charged a 125 flat charge, as if it was a credit card payment on HOLD, they said it was only pending but it was taken out. otherwise they sent me on my way with a customer service number even though there was a charge made at their office just prior!?..

Gerry VIt was just an issue with the app, it doesn't work and I was worried for days before pick-up that I might not be able to pick up the truck I reserved, but the people at the front desk were very helpful, and able to help me.

Stephane LWe rented a trailer. When we opened it at the U-Haul location, it was obvious no one had looked inside it beforehand. There was a large flat panel tv sitting in it. In any case, the staff were excellent!!! We could not get our break lights and turn signals working on the trailer. One of your staff members fixed the issue and we were on our way. Great job U-Haul!
