clean the trucks
Keith YThe inside of the truck was dirty and had broken glass. We had to clean it out before using it. Trash was in the cab from previous user.
CHRISTINE HIt appears that the first photo on the google app shows a picture of the uhaul on Auburn around the corner. May want to delete it to avoid confusing your customers.
Mark RThere was confusion on location as I received text to pick up U-Haul on Auburn Blvd. The individual said they do rent u-haul trucks at his store, but they had none. He sent us to the main u-haul about a mile away on Auburn Blvd. The lady looked me up and found me for a different place to rent the U-Haul. Went there and picked up the 15' van. Al the staff were great helping me and directing me.

McKinley SMaking sure customers have more details explained. Didn't know I needed a lock for truck. Was not told certain trucks didn't have ramps, didn't know Dolly's didn't come with rental. Somethings were explained after booking and me asking. Otherwise great experience.

Rodney MInterior of the cargo area was cluttered with remnants of a previous move: broken glass, torn up wrapping paper, scattered pieces of ribbon, dirt- perhaps potting soil. The staff were very nice though and would come back again.

Rosemary WDon't understand why the trucks do not have a full tank of gas available when picking up because people don't have the money to keep putting out money. People are loosing their homes because of high prices. It's just sad.

Mark STechnical condition not good, very bad brakes, transmission work very strange. For local moving not bad but for long distance I think will be hard to drive this. And please, add small instruction how make check out truck after work time, because nobody explained me how do this, I parked truck and drop off keys and when I start to make check out I found out that I need to make pictures of odometer, gas level and interior condition of truck, I was lucky and I could take keys from the box and I did the photo.

DRUSILLA FI did not have a good experience. The Truck I received was apparently stolen and the guy had just returned it after 10 days of using it. The truck was absolutely disgusting inside. Everything was sticky and dirty and the whole cabin reeked of cigarette smoke. I had to use a couple Lysol wipes on the seat and steering wheel just to make it drivable and had to keep the windows down to breath.

Vadim AThe whole online pick up process was a bit of hassle. For the most part doing things online/contactless means easy and fast process. It wasn't the case here. I was frustrated through the process. I understand that verification is needed, however the type of offered verification were a bit uncommon. Especially that I wasn't prepared for it. I asking for a copy of a passport or lease agreement was a bit much for me. Because I didn't have them with me, and I have strong feeling most people don't carie them with them either. The alternative was to contact 2 people; just like a reference for a job, those person have to be informed that they will be contacted so they can prepare themselves. All this was last minute so I had no way of knowing if they would even be in a position to pick up the phone. On top of that it took a while for all this to happen, almost 45 minutes. This was the first time, I would rather go the old fashion way and pick up the vehicle from a human.
Freddy MThe ladies in this office were awesome! So friendly and took the time to thoroughly explain what I needed to know about the rental, and also explained the storage rate and other products I may need for my move! I will refer anyone I know that is moving to them.

THOMAS FI was not told at the drop off location that i was supposed to drop it off at the place where i rented it at 5441 Garfield Av Sacramento, CA 95841. I think i was charged extra for dropping it off at the other location.I want some kind of reimbursement for them not informing me of this!
John SI reserved a 26ft truck. The location I chose called me and said they didn't have a 26 ft truck. They said an other location would call me. An other location called and I made arrangements to pick up there. When I picked up the truck was a 20ft truck. I had to keep the truck 2 days because it was too small to fit all of my things.

Cesar MEmployee wasn't informative , no personality , they only let one person in so as a first time mover not letting my mother in with me made it very difficult especially since the clerk wasn't helpful. Uhaul wasn't very clean and it gas tank was barely filled.
Victoria JThe truck was pretty dirty and had a low tire pressure when we got it. Also the receipt and mobile messaging expire so fast I couldn't see my receipt to explain 2 separate charges. Used the truck for less than a day and had to pay almost $300 which seems exorbitant. The staff was very pleasant in person though.

Armon PThe customer service associate argued with me over the gas level. It is an analog gauge and they argued over 1/16 of the gas level. Unbelievable.
Jeremy JWell when I set up my reservation you told me one location. I got there and there was a lockbox but I received no code to get in it. I tried calling but there was a 30 minute wait. I resigned it and saw uhaul changed my pick-up location without even telling me. Another guy that was also trying to pick up had the same problem and you also changed his pickup location without telling him. The stress it caused on an already stressful day honestly makes me want to use penske in the future instead. Luckily everyone over at Trojan storage was wonderful if it wasn't for them I would never use or recommend uhaul again and I still might not. 3/10

DENISE DTruck was really dirty inside and out. We actually had to pay to have it washed because the windows were so dirty it was hard to see out. The truck smelled horribly of smoke. The gal inside was kind but unfortunately her coworker called out so she had to close the office for lunch when we wanted to pick up the truck and drop off. We were able to work around the schedule but this must suck for her.

Davit GThe women I spoke to on the phone was helpful and I was able to a truck and appliance dolly for the following Sunday. When I arrived to rent the truck everything went smoothly. When I brought back the truck full with gas the process to checkout was quick and fast. Again the woman that I spoke to on the phone was the same as the woman in the office. She was very helpful.
