Going thru the 24/7 online option was like pulling teeth. The site also provided the wrong dolly. Becuase they weren't open on Sundays at all I spent an hour getting the pickup done, requiring to use a different phone becuase uhaul's website told me I wasn't at the right location on my phone. I didn't even want this location in the first place but somehow the place I selected and the place my truck was ready at were different. Was a horrible start to an already horrible day. In addition, I had no idea I need to take pictures of everything, so I had already dropped my key off before thinking "maybe I should check the website". TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS AHEAD OF TIME WHAT THEY NEED TO DO. SAYING YOU NEED A MOBILE DEVICE DOESN'T TELL ME ANYTHING EXCEPT HAVE YOUR PHONE WITH YOU! Ask more information. I had to pay $397,74 for less than 48 hrs. Multiple phone calls with uhaul staff told me that Ashland was closest for the return when in fact Superior was which would have only cost me $137.00. We are so very disappointed at the cost & no one could help straighten this out when I called.Doug C.

I had a reservation when I got there they didn't have the truck that I had reserved and then since I had a special deal for two days they told me that they don't do the special deal and I had to get the smaller truck for one day. I had another Uhaul rented already (10 truck)and wanted to use it to haul the trailer due to I was moving to a home that with the bigger truck I couldn't make it into the driveway where I absolutely had to have it. Overall I had a pretty unpleasant experience with uhaul. The pick up location was fine but when I arrived and tried to check in online it said I was unable and needed a family member or friend to verify. I was right next to my mom but they refused to talk to her on my phone and only would call her on her phone. We waited and waited for the women from uhaul online to call my mom and verify. She never did. She ended up calling MY phone to verify with my mom even though she said she couldn't do that? Lots of time wasted trying to get the uhaul picked up. Then I returned the uhaul hours later with a full tank, dropped the key in the lock box as instructed and left. I then received multiple calls the next day asking if I can even picked up the uhaul because records didnt show it. I then had to sit on the phone AGAIN on two separate occasions for them to go through and re verify my information. It is advertised to be so easy which is NOT the case. Will not be using uhaul again. I would rather rely on family or friends to move.Mathilda G.

The information on the pamphlet that was given to me should have been a little bit more specific as to what to do with the key. I was a little bit lost as to what to do. It was my very first time renting and reserving a U-Haul truck. By the way, my reservation was changed about three times and the guy I spoke to on Saturday didn't feel as accommodating as I had been promised the night before.
