The check in was a little long. We did the 24/7 pick up and once i entered in everything, it wanted 2 contacts to call at 8am in the morning. My contacts were not answering the phone as they were probably asleep and when i contacted Uhaul, the agent was giving me difficulty in approving the pick up. I was already 30 minutes late for the movers from this delay and after she contacted one of my references she wanted 2 more. I requested a supervisor. That was the only negative experience we had.

If people are using the tollway you may what to let them know if there I-pass works while using the rented truck, this is the only thing I was unsure of.

Fix the verification process prior to checking out the vehicle. Some chat window popped up in the web app asking for a contact abruptly. (This should have been captured on the previous page where I put my license info) I went back and forth with the person for at least 5 minutes. They ask me for contact info so I gave it. Then they asked again, so I gave it again. Finally I asked what is taking so long and apparently I was supposed to get a notification to fill out a form. Not sure how that was going to happen through a mobile web site. They finally filled out the form for me and completed the process. Also the web app logs out really quickly. Had to re-login during the Check-in process between pictures.

People were great, transaction was fine. Equipment was old and weary. Rented a 15' truck. Had 127,000 miles on it. Loose steering and front suspension made steering a bit of a challenge. In a prior life, I wheeled a big rig, so no problem for me. But I would not recommend these vehicles to a friend who had less driving experience.

There were three issues with my overall experience with this rental. 1) Hard to get ahold of a customer service person on site. 2) Customer service person never called back even after multiple requests and confirmation they would call me back with answers. 3) I received additional charges a month after I dropped off the vehicle. This is also after I called the main uhaul support line to confirm drop off and final bill when I could not get the onsite customer service person to confirm drop off/ charges. After all the issues I had and delayed second billing of fees I am unlikely to use this location and possibly uhaul in the future.

I dropped off keys to an unlocked blqck box.after hours as I was instructed. Was worried the truck could be stolen and I'd be blamed. Also I left the dolly in back of unlocked truck. Again though they had cameras outside , I worried I may be blamed for that as well if stolen.

Very efficient. Showed up and was out in 10 minutes with the truck. Girls that manage the store very helpful and personable. Return episode even smoother than the pick up. Very satisfied customer!!!!

The technology is so buggy that the entire idea of phone-only rentals should be suspended and the entire thing re-built from scratch under the direction of a new CIO using new consultants. Countless times it won't recognize my password, countless times it won't recognize the activation codes from uhaul, had to enter my info at least seven times, the app NEVER did talk to the website, and on and on and on. I am highly computer savvy and have never had anything even remotely approaching this level of problems. At least four hours of retrying and debugging on my part just to rent one truck. That's not even in the ballpark of minimally acceptable.

Calling and getting U-Haul International Service and being run around, was the WORST. Totally messed up and I had to hang up. Calling local was the way to go. The gal there is absolutely terrific.
