Give the customer what they asked for and not do a so called upgrade which was a lie because they didn't have the size of truck that was reserved in advance

The employee who helped us was awesome! There was an issue he helped us resolve. He was very polite and kind. It was someone who worked Saturday morning around 8. He was great and made me want to come back and do business again!!

All the people, including the people I have spoke to on the phone from uhaul have been wonderful. I am especially thankful for Josh. He was exactly who I needed behind the counter at uhaul that morning.
amy fCheck the trailer in when I return it. I don't like receiving messages stating that I am in violation of the rental agreement and that I am being charged until I return a trailer simply because the people at the rental location didn't check it in.
anderson aOverall the customer service was great with the employees being very polite, easy to deal with and 100 % hassle free. On the other hand, the car dolly wasn't in the best of shape but it also wasn't the worst I've seen in my years of renting from U-haul. The most concerning part was the emergency break cable, that if pulled stops the dolly in the event of it coming off the hitch, was held together with a connector used to connect to wires together. It is meant for wiring not holding a cable together. Also said cable came apart where it was crimped together with the connector while unhooking the dolly at the time of drop off. So in conclusion, keep up the great work in the customer service side of things, and either retrain your maintenance people in how to properly repair the equipment or find someone who already does.

Daniel HChecking out the truck went very smooth and the gentleman that helped me was great. the return process was also very easy. the only thing that I would say is that when returning the truck, the guy said just park it there and he would get it checked in. I am a trustworthy person, but I would have preferred to do a walk around with the person checking it in. But he was very busy, and this was fine.
Nate MI needed for an additional day longer to complete my move. After paying a couple hundred dollars and getting an extension the Uhaul was reported stollen! I was arrested and taken to jail for 24 hours. They made me empty my packed up vehicle in the front yard and seized it. I missed work while in jail and got fired and missed my reservation on the storage unit that I put a deposit on. Worst experience of my life!
Jeff BAs we were driving away, in the turn lane headed into glenstone, the employee that collected the keys drove by us and stopped us in traffic to let us know we would have an outstanding balance. The storage unit we are using power went out and we had no choice but to rent the uhaul for an extra couple of days. We were kind of treated rudely by the guy who stopped us in traffic and it felt like he was blaming us for returning so late. I have a whole list of things that went wrong with this move. The tall black guy was really nice throughout the whole process. The short white guy was incredibly rude. Don't stop me in traffic. If you feel the need to tell me my balance, call me

JAMES HCustomer service is lacking. Female employee was rude when checking out my trailer. Owner was rude when I came in to rent a storage unit, noting that they were closing soon. UHaul always send emails saying how your rental qualifies for 1 month free on a storage unit, which is never accurate as it requires it be a 1-way rental. This needs to be fixed. Email also says you can call, book in person, or online for this offer, yet when you call in both Corporate and local store say you HAVE to do it in person at the store. I was told by store staff my previous rental (pickup truck and auto transport DID qualify me for a free 1 month storage unit, yet when I came back in a week later to book it I was informed this wasn't accurate. Not upset with local staff as that's policy, but the emails from Corporate are clearly misleading intentionally. I won't be doing business with Uhaul storage again.

Nicki CLet people know that the app actually doesn't work and that they just need to call the number to return the truck after hours if you want to reflect the correct drop-off time. We stood in the freezing cold for nearly an hour trying to make the app work to "check-in" our vehicle before finally calling for help. When we got a human, the immediate response was "oh yeah. The app is new and doesn't work yet. When they checked the truck out this morning they should have told you that the app didn't work. Just take pictures of the truck in the location you dropped it off and take pictures showing the full gas tank. Then put the keys in the drop box and I will reflect your drop-off time as 45 min ago. Sorry for the inconvenience." The next morning, we got a call from the location asking when we were going to bring the truck in! Which nearly gave me a heart attack. I was so glad we had photo evidence to prove we had already done so the night before. I still haven't gotten a new confirmation email with a new receipt. They charged us for 2 days even though we only had it from 10 AM to 5:40 pm which was the whole benefit of being able to call and return it before Monday!

The website made it where i had to come up with different email addresses and different phone numbers and wouldn't go on til I did. I'm the business owner and it shouldnt have required that. But it was difficult knowing what to do. I had ask the front desk attendant what all would be required or what i needed for the early morning. She didn't know, she told me just scan the barcode and follow the steps. Guess what, there is no barcode... pricing is crazy high. I won't be back enterprise here my delivery service business comes.

STEPHEN OThe only way to the upstairs storage is the ramp,broke my ankle, people with bad knees it does not work. I'm 62 yrs and struggled. My son in law helped with bad knees,I will have to hire someone when I move out. Other than that, office guys were very kind and helpful.

It was inconvenient to have to key in code every time to open door while unloading by myself until I got locked out and had to return to desk. Then I received better instructions on the difference for the key pads and was told I could leave the door wedged open while unloading. Things went more smoothly thereafter. But very happy with cleanliness, helpful staff, convience of storage at destination to turn in one-way truck, and a month of free storage!

The booking process was very easy online and the staff were very thorough. However, my wife and I still accidentally stored ALL of our items into the empty unit right next to the one we were assigned. We were so exhausted, we never realized the error until I returned some time later to retrieve a few things and there was a company lock on the unit. Long story short, the staff were very understanding and eventually updated my account to the unit number we accidentally moved into and released the other we were supposed to use (same sizes). For reasons that have nothing to do with Uhaul, these past few months have been such a nightmare for my family to put it lightly and the thought of having to move our items over to another unit was simply unbearable. I can't put into words how much I appreciate Uhaul's team. I've never been so close to having several nervous breakdowns in my life but thankfully this didn't have to happen. Thank you for your part in getting us through the nightmare! We will certainly keep Uhaul in mind for any future moves and I highly recommend the company for anyone else. Especially if moving one way and needing storage: Uhaul had a great promotion for 1 month free storage with 1 way truck rentals at participating locations. Such a lifesaver. As we had moved from the address they had on file, we appreciate that attention to detail and due diligence on our behalf. (We forgot to advise them of our new address.) Scott P | Expérience généraleThe bathroom in the building where my storage unit was need some tending to. The toilet needed cleaning. There wasn't toilet paper ready on the dispenser. And, the roll of paper towels was on top of the dispenser, instead of being install in the device. Which means a person has to handle the whole thing, to get a piece of paper to dry hands. In this time of Covid-19, this public bathroom could have been a little cleaner and ready to go. It was just a matter of a little neglect. That is all. I really liked all the staff i interacted with. And the building and the unit I had was impeccable. The bathrooms just need looking after. Maybe hire a janitorial service to check on them daily?!?!
garrell h | Expérience généraleSimply out, I am a truck driver, and I just needed a locker for a month while I was in the middle of switching to a new truck. I was not able to get to the office during normal business hours and replied to an email stating the locker was empty with the date to which it was empty. I now show a past due for a locker I am not using. This is the only and real problem I have. I did try to call on a couple of occasions with no answer. This is the only problem I had, but seems a serious enough one.

It was better, but still unsafe. Once again, Samuel helped me and he had his mask on at all times and was great.

A week later and no one had finished it so I was racking up charges on my account. I finally had to drive over to get someone to check it out. That's ridiculous.

Most of the customers and 2 out of 4 employees were not masked. UHaul should step up and require masks for employees and customers. Very disappointed and if I was not desperate, I would not have used this facility. I will not recommend or use UHaul again.

I was locked out of the building and my unit at least three times. I was sent two late fees although I had already paid. The staff could not fix the problem although they did try. I gave up being able to use my storage unit so I transferred to another company.

Was small and the cost was 109 a month for small place. It was vinbient at the time. But it wasn't economical. The guys that worked inside were friendly n very helpful when I left. The phone person and the one doing email kept sending me late fees n payment due at the time And I was already moved out

Worked all day have to be out of my place 11am so I packed up my suv to make two trips to the storage and have everything done the night before and arrived at 11pm to find out I can access it so had to drive home and wait. Outside of that great place

At least save the info from pick up. It is being dropped off; I shouldn't need to donate the blood of a virgin too.

The lady working was happy to help us find a bigger unit. The only thing I think could use a redo.....is the 1st part of your ramp.....it was like pushing humans up the big hill of a roller coaster. Some of the cars do not steer well enough to handle that. Otherwise we love it.
