Quick and easy check-in and return.

Staff was nice, however there are too many non-staff members trying to "help" people with their storage belongings. A lot of "tenants" seem to be present in the building. 7/10 times I would go to my unit and be approached by someone (who doesn't work there) either wanting money or "offering help" in and out of the building.

The only problem I had is the back of the truck was dusty but I know this can happen from time to time.It doesn't get swept out all the way other than that.It was great

Richard Flounary the GM was extremely rude to me and hung up on me when I had to call him after hours for an emergency. He told me I was calling his "personal phone" on his "personal day off." He is listed as the after hours contact on the signage! He was so mean to me. Unacceptable customer service. How is this guy a GM?!?! I hate this place and will be moving my things out of this storage facility ASAP. Not to mention, I told his employee I'm dropping off my truck after I unload it. They confirmed. I go to drop off the truck and I find out my drop off location was changed without telling me. This whole experience was one of the most stressful experiences I've ever been to! Not to mention all the homeless people coming in and out of the facility…

We were 45 mins late checking the truck in… the man that took the truck from us said not yo worry about a late fee, he would waive it. An hour later I got my final bill with an additional fee for one day. So much for customer service.

The representative that i rented the truck theough was very courteous, helpful and professional. He made me feel safe and secure about my truck and car hauler. The representative that secured the car onto the car hauler was also extremely courteous professional and helpful. My experience with them and uhail gave me peace of mind and confidence in the safety of my trip and the equipment that i rented from them. Thankful

The app gave me a terrible time when returning the truck, the truck sounded horrible and it was shaking when it was idle. Attempted to put that in the app, the app would not allow me to add that in and move forward so I had to say the truck was in great condition in order to return it.

the whole process seems like uhaul thinks I'm a criminal. Having to call a friend, to verify i am who Isay I am, at 755am to rent a truck for 4 hours when I have years of renting trucks from them is stupid.

Equipment was not as pictured. Nobody told me my rental was transferred here and it was almost cancelled because I was "late". I told them when I would be returning the rental and they didn't account for that so I got hit with extra fees when I returned.

We've used this U-Haul location multiple times in the last 3 years and have always found the staff to be helpful, friendly and professional. They consistently had the materials we needed and we rented several vehicles from them for short trips and the check-in/check-out process is very streamlined and easy.

Make sure to be clear with U-Haul Representative about your vehicle specifications as to not lower your limit on paper to what actually your vehicle is cable. Example (V4 Engine vs. V6 Engine). Also, feel free to share with the U-Haul Representative what you intend to use the trailer for. If you are about to do a cross country trip, let them know, they will make sure to give you the best trailer for highway road conditions. Expecting weather delays? Let them know. Need additional insurance for valuables in trailer? Let them know. Shout out to the Tropicana Field U-Haul Representatives.

I would normally have recommended you however, I was charged for gasoline and drove the exact same miles as my husband did in another van the day before and he was not charged for gasoline. Seems very unfair. So, I will not be using you in the future nor recommending you.

Everyone was super kind, knowledgeable, and ready to help. I forget her name but she was working w Jack and she took really good care of me. I didn't get his name but the guy that checks in vehicles was great too. Jalen showed me the space and was really an awesome dude. He had just mopped the floors too. It's nice to know that this is where I'll be keeping my important belongings. Merci.

They had every single parking space filled with uhauls that was supposed to be specifically used for storage customers. The trucks made it not only impossible to park but they were so close to the sidewalk, door, and building, you couldn't get anything out. Office was often closed when I wanted to ask someone to move a truck. My last day I was able to get someone to move a uhaul so I could just clean out my unit and take my business elsewhere!

The facility after emailing me the code to get in, and my code didn't work when I got there, told me it was because they had to input the code first. so I had to keep the vehicle for an extra day and leave it at my son's house overnight. also, when he took me to the unit, it was not painted inside, it was very dirty and there was a rat box on the floor, so I canceled my order immediately for the storage unit. the only part that was okay in the whole experience was the guy who checked in my 4 by 8 enclosed trailer when I checked out, the rest was not. There are homeless people living around the building, so it doesn't even feel safe to be there.

Facility and storage experience itself, and experience getting stuff in & out, all went reasonably well. Reasons for being reluctant to recommend to others all center around how both myself and a friend-of-a-friend former customer of this same facility have each independently experienced billing issues when adding and removing units to accounts. If billing issues were resolved, or if it took fewer redirections across U-Haul's phone support lines to resolve such issues, I'd find it easier to recommend to others.

I rented a unit for 1 year which I paid for in advance and when I saw the unit I realized that it is in a mezzanine with no elevator access. the service was not good at all, even though I NEVER used the unit they charged me for the full month. I have to say that at least they refunded me for the other 11 months. End up going to the Luck up and EVERYTHING was amazing, units, service, etc,

Check-in instruction were inaccurate. Access code did not work. Luckily, the office was still open and an employee reset it for me. The employee gave me general info on the facility but did not ensure the unit was ready for me to move in. I had to hurry back down right before the office closed to have them provide the lock and cut the tag for me to get into the unit. Also, I wasn't given an access card to get in and out. Overall, a waste of 30 mins.

The management sets the tone for the location and ricco definitely sets a bad one for this location. If you are looking for good customer service, a company employees don't look here. Unfortunately all that will happen is you will look at this comment and pass it off as someone who doesn't matter, but I'm telling you this and I really want you to pay close attention Mike Wise…. Get enough of us customers that you think don't matter and it will add up. I hope you really think about how you treat customers Ron Frank and Joe Shoen had it right every customer counts that's what build and keeps Uhaul going.

Can you pay all of that money for storage and you get access to be inside of the storage when it is closed but no matter what time you go the bathrooms are locked. Even during open hours while the office is still open, they keep the bathroom locked. I know they have a lot of homeless people and situation is going on like that but it is unfair to paying customers to have to go all the way home to use the bathroom. That is why I left and got a new storage somewhere else and furthermore, they keep trying to charge my card when I was moved out of there on time

Lighting in the unit was poor and when they timed out, it was impossible to see in the unit. Entry door was malfunctioning frequently leave the building open. I wanted a larger unit and they weren't available. They would not maintain a waitlist and I was told to keep calling the office because the units would become available at any time. Terrible customer service. Unfriendly, unhelpful and terse in their response to inquiries. They had high demand for storage and limited supply. From the owner to the staff, they appeared not to care about their customers because they didn't have to.

At the beginning we were very frustrated by the poor service they gave us. Our belongings got wet... But the insurance paid us. Do not be afraid to place a higher insurance rate so you avoid regrets, the claim is very complicated

I was a GM for 18 years and know what it's like to maintain a facility like this. It was clean and the storage room was spot on with the green zip tie and green tag with date recorded on it. It was a fairly secure building except for a few creepys hanging around…but every place has its own. All in all great job to the GM and staff, like Joe Shoen says "we have the TAj Mahal why go any place else".

the code given in the online confirmation email was completely wrong. If we had shown up after hours, it would have been a disaster. Fortunately, the office was open and the staff were all incredibly helpful. Very happy with the experience.

My items were shipped to this location from CA. The truck driver put the account in his name, which is fraud. The folks here were very helpful and worked with the police department to ensure my items were safe.

When I secured the space, I secured it online. Online, it stated that the space was for a one to two bedroom apartment. That was absolutely not the case. I had to secure a second unit and I thought that they would have given me a discount. But they didn't! Look at the space before you secure it!!

Staff never answers the phone. Often are rude, when I first moved they refused the truck I drove even though I drove across country, then it took over a year and a call to cooperate to honor 1 month of free rent on storage. Prices are severely under quoted. By far the worst place I have ever rented.

I can not say enough good things about the staff and facility at this location, especially Jimmy, the manager and Patti, the housekeeper. The facility was always sparkling clean. My items were in storage for almost two years. I will miss these helpful and professional U-Haul employees!

The guy that works there - might be the manager was very kind and willing to assist when I hit a snag in my unit. Everyone is really nice - I think The units are really small compared to the ones in Md and Georgia - but I'm a master packer and made it work. Great location and they have lots of carts which came in handy because it got very busy and no one had to fight for carts - that was a plus. Also appreciated someone showing me how to get in after hours.

Would give a zero star if I could. From day 1 this was a hassle. Took me over an hour to get the unit since the line was so long. It wasn't cleaned. I had to clean it myself. The staff member gave me a broom instead of offering to clean herself. The manager is unreachable and doesn't care at all. Will never go to this location again and will never refer anyone here. Worst business arrangement I've made in my life.

There was a mix up when I arrived with my furniture stating I had not paid which took some time to straighten out. At first they were ot going to give me the free month. Because of the mix up I could not set up an account. As they never answered the phone, I had to go to the store to pay for the extra months needed. When I was ready to leave, the elevator (only 1 at the facility), was broken! They laughed and said they didn't know when it would be repaired. I wa very upset. The manager told me he was offended that I blamed him! Well,he is the manager! It was a strange reaction. Keep in mind, I was paying more rent because I couldn't move into my new home because I could not get my furniture out of storage. This went on for 2 weeks! The manager did comp me a truck to move my furniture once the elevator was fixed. It did not cover the additional rent but I was just happy to be out. In addition, I had to go down to check on the elevator because again they didn't answer the phones and no one called me to tell me it was fixed! Very poor customer service!

Got the code to let me into the maximum security storage facility wasn't told that I had to check in using the code at this particular access point then I can use the door key pad but after that was explained to me I had no problems the staff was polite and courteous and even showed me to my storage unit and how to use my code to access the elevator and when I asked for a security card to let me in the door instead of using the code they gave me one without a fuss and told me if I have any problems questions or concerns please feel free to come to the desk and ask it may cost a little bit more but it is definitely worth every penny. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone especially those who value their possessions.

The facility itself was secure. However, I reached out to customer service and got the main number as the facility ALWAYS transferred its phones to the main number. You can never reach the facility itself. The main uhaul could not answer my question and assured me that the manager of Tropicana field would return my call. He/she never did. I was supposed to get a free month of storage as I had rented a truck within the last 12 months. (Mine was actually within the last 6 weeks). The customer service reps at the main number checked my qualifications and assured me that I did qualify. The they charged me at the facility and when it was questioned, they said that since I didn't rent the truck 'from a certain distance', I didn't qualify for a free month. I'm Scratching my head over that loophole. Not even quite sure what it means. The facility itself was fine. I made the reservation through uhaul central since you can never reach the facility itself. On the move-in day, the facility told me that they gave my storage unit to someone else (we were there at 9 am), but, they were able to come up with another for us. Why did they even bother to tell me that? The place is chaotic but my belongings were safe in the end.

I arrived at Uhaul at 8:15am. There was only 1 employee working. He was very slow. There were 3 people in front of me. By the time I got up to the counter it was after 10:35a.m. The Uhaul employee had a nasty attitude and was unprofessional. He was very condescending with myself and the black woman who was before me in line. However, his demeanor was totally different with the two other guys/customers that were in front of the line. I had to be to work at 12 noon but due to waiting 2 hours to get and having to store my items storage I waisted an entire day and had to miss work. I also reserved a storage unit and it was too small for my things! I had to get another storage elsewhere. This was the absolute worst experience I ever had. I would never recommend. I should be accommodated for inconvenience and lack of professionalism. This experience was horrible. // Later that morning a woman (Uhaul employee) arrived around 11am-11:30am. Her attitude was totally different from the man earlier that morning. She was very professional. But unfortunately the bad experience I had earlier that morning with the man who was at the counter trumps that and made my entire experience an absolute nightmare.

Great place to store things! It's the moving out that's a pain. So many homeless folks come up and ask to help you, so I felt uncomfortable leaving my truck unattended to load up more for fear of my things being stolen. The elevator was also miserable to use if anyone else is moving at the same time. Anyone above you will come down with a full load and I waited 5 minutes for two rounds of people to unload the elevator. When it's 80 degrees in that breezeway 5 minutes feels like forever. Overall I'm glad we had the option to keep our things here, but glad it was temporary. Everyone who works there is very friendly and accommodating.

This store is really busy and really understaffed. There is always a long line and it takes too long for each transaction to occur. If you have a question and call the store you will be on hold for at least 30 - 45 minutes. Frustrating because it is in a great location and always has a variety of trucks and equipment available for your move.

I had an old and valuable antique oriental rug in storage. I recently moved into a larger dwelling and when I unrolled the rug there were larvae all over and a great deal of the rug was damaged, possibly destroyed. This was a family heirloom that apart from monetary value, had great sentimental value to me. I'm heartbroken this beautiful reminder of the home I grew up in and 3 subsequent homes of my own is so damaged. I've never seen a single instance of this during my 25 plus years of owning and using this beautiful piece in my home. I'm greatly upset about this and heartbroken.

There was a reservation error. The centralized reservation system gave me lockers that didn't exist at this location . I had a lot of stuff. The Tropicana staff worked fabulously with me during a very stressful time and gave me everything they had for space. The manager, James Beck, made things very reasonable in terms of cost adjustment. All the staff were pkeasent and helpful.

After being a loyal customer for nearly two years they decided to increase my rate, even though they still advertise and offer the same rate to people who are currently signing up. So they basically try to squeeze more money out of customers who have been there a long time, but continue to offer the same size unit to new customers for the price I had paid all along. I guess they are banking on customers being too lazy to move out. I called and left a message asking to discuss the issue with management and he never even took the time to return my call. Apparently U-haul is more interested in short-term profit than brand/customer loyalty. I found a very nice, brand new storage unit nearly twice the size (10x15) less than a mile away for basically the same price I had been paying U-haul. I may have no choice but to use the services of u-haul at some point in the future depending on where I am, but I can certainly tell you that it will never again be my first choice. I will shop around and likely pay more for a competitor's services if they are available before I ever resort to using U-haul again because I don't want to support a business whose business model is designed to "reward" customer loyalty with predatory practices.

We received two one month rentals after moving to the area but were told that we could only use one of those months because the first month would make us a customer voiding the second month. After finally agreeing to use one month we went after store hours to pick up some items from our storage only to find that there was a staff lock on our door with a sticker stating we were being locked out of our unit due to failure to pay. This was only 2 weeks after setting up everything with the one month free! When the staff put that lock on they put a second sticker on our lock, stating that it was an invalid lock yet it was the same style lock that the staff used to lock us out. At no point during any of this were we informed that the lock used to secure our belongings had to meet specific criteria. We were also never informed that we had been locked out of our belongings unit arriving after hours only to find we couldn't get in. As a result we were forced to make a last minute scramble to empty our belongings from the unit before the month ended.

We have that unit for approximately seven years and never had any significant problems. We needed to downsize and there was not a smaller unit available at this facility so we had to go elsewhere. The only other issue that ever came up was I was in the hallway on the first floor just asked the office and sometimes they would have deliveries that were stored in someone blocking my entrance but the staff will always take care of it for me.

All CONTACTS were helpful. Dealt directly with Andrew at Tropicana Uhaul. We accessed our unit lady night when Andrew was on duty. Again helpful and pleasant. Good representative.

The only problem was homeless people outside and when the door would open they would run in. I fussed and complained until they left. Annoying but other than that it was all good

Not very clean and there are always people waiting near access door. Need flashlight to see into individual storage room. During the years we have utilized the units the staff has never been friendly.
