I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul. The trucks are trash.

Ruben VI rented a 5x9 trailer to pick up a motorcycle that worked well for me. It was easy to see while on the road and backing up was no problem. I wish UHaul supplied a security locking pin to prevent trailer from being easily detached and stolen while unattended. I started the rental process online the day before. Pick up and drop off were in different cities and the process was very smooth.

LINDA BEverything was good. Except I thought it had a bug smeared on passenger side windshield, turned out as I was cleaning it before the trip, it was a huge scratch from before. Seemed the wiper was used and the blade arm had severely scratched the glass. Wiper blades needed to be replaced, they didn't help much in the rain!

However, the staff wasn't made for customer service. unfortunately the manager was very stand offish when just simply asking a question in a placid manor. The employee checking me in at the desk was very polite, informative, and helpful. Upon return I was met with a men named Andrew that was discourteous, I pulled up too far within the return lane due to multiple trucks parked within the space already, so I wasn't sure of protocol being that I've never rented from U-haul prior. I stayed in the truck so that when the young man was done talking with a customer I could ask where I should park the vehicle, but once he was done he abruptly told me to move before I could ask any questions, so I asked where should I park. He stated "back there" I expressed there's no space due to the large trucks parked there which he could see, but he said figure it out. So, I back up and did my best once I park I got out and ask If I need to go inside and pay my bill. He very unfriendly said "NO YOU"LL BE DEALING WITH ME, BUT YOU CAN GO INSIDE IF YOU WANT IT WONT BE OF HELP TO YOU". again I just simply asked what the next step was in the process since I haven't rented with them before. i felt uncomfortable and disturbed after this experience. To me there seems to be a problem with management that has trickled down into all departments as we know it starts there first. I will not be returning to this location. Please do better! Thank you.
Breanne PThe young gentleman that was "backing" me in with the trailer upon return wouldn't stop staring at his phone. Then when I asked him to focus on the task he responded with "just drop the trailer right there if you don't like it" I will NEVER use this location again for that statement!

Marshall JThe chunky lady was so rude. We were stuck inside the a storage because our car wouldn't start. No one was there nobody so we had no choice but to jump the fence to get help. Then because of the fence jump they would not let me get to our storage. We were not allowed in then how could we get our stuff out. . They were definitely on drugs, they didn't care thate had a emergency and couldn't get out. I will never get a storage with them again. I got 5 witnesses . Still may get a lawsuit going because I got stuck with a 400$ bill

Michelle WWhat a disaster in his experience with Uhaul was. You never fixed and attached the lock on the front door. You brought it back to Uhaul from my home to Pleasanton and repair and attach my provided lock. You never attached the lock and the entire box shifted. The entire U Box fell apart in delivery to the East Coast. You were not able to get it to my house because of sufficient damage and my 75 year old husband and I had to rent any truck and go 1 1/2 hours away to unload the disaster, drive it back home and unload it in our garage and return the truck. With no $ help from U Haul!!!!!
marcia fThere were three females including Donna the assistant manager at the location behind the counter. When me and my friend arrived to pick up the truck, they were busy engaging in chatter and gossiping. They were very rude and unprofessional. They were calling each other retarded and talking about food and what they were eating or going to eat and not paying attention to the customer. I was told I had the full coverage package she even circled roadside assistance and the extra charge daily for coverage but roadside assistance was not included. She did not add my friend as a authorized driver she didn't bother to ask I had to tell her and she still didn't do it. Completely horrible. The manager Nicole called back and was not sorry for any of their behavior and said they didn't do anything wrong and were given a different story.

It was never made watertight or secures from the elements. This location almost never answer its phone and never returns urgent ohone calls which makes commjnication with the lical staff virtuly impossible. This location rented me a 26 foot truck without detecting that the gas pump assemblyvhad been ripped out of the gas tank which caused much gas to leak from the tank while driving. This location promised to refund prepaid rent when I moved out yet did not immediately do so. Customer service at the White Lane Uhaul is the worse I have ever experienced. Once I approached a erk at the front desk while she was playing with her cell phone and apoeared annoyed to have been interrupted by a customer wanting to buy boxes.

She was always helpful and knowledgeable about the process of securing a unit and rental trucks.The only issue is that we had 3 monthly rate increases in less than 2 years for such a small unit (10×10), started out at 124,95 then to 134,95 to 149.95, I ended up securing a unit with Derrel storage for a larger size 20×30 and although it's more expensive you can at least see where your money is going. I can park 2 cars in my unit there and still have space to put other stuff in it.

I prefer pay less in another storage than stay here I love my storage space and the location but because of these 2 disrespectful girls I left.

He was verbally abusive and demeaning to the young lady assisting me. AND answered all of my gazillion questions and was still very nice! The storage room was SO CLEAN and looked as if it's brand new. It was a nice surprise to find a little "welcome" bag with a lock, a to-go coffee cup and a pen! I have a feeling this was a "Nichole" thing and it was a nice little touch. Thanks Nichole, and Uhaul on White Ln. This is the best location in Bako.

Damon B | Expérience généraleI moved to a different storage after my roll up unit was BASHED -IN and forcefully PRIED open with lock intact. The thieves took a LOT. At the time 12/18/20 there were NO known CAMERAS viewing the storage units area. No one appears to actually occupy the front apartment-looking structure and there were often questionable persons of no apparent means wandering freely up and down among the storage unit rows I think some are living in storage units. I believe with the rental of vehicles and sales of supplies kept staff from proper monitoring of the storage units. I have chosen a new facility that does one thing; just rents out storages units. I was pressured to purchase renters insurance upon getting this unit in Jun/July 2020, insurance which is now asking for receipts of my stolen items and since I barely have any and clearly this insurance maybe wasn't right for me I do believe such stipulation should have been pointed out as clearly as the pressure to buy it was. I am glad to see that many new cameras and high tech are finally being installed at the facility. I will use U-Haul again but I certainly would rent another unit only with great caution. Merci

They were not able to get anything on camera because my unit was in a "blind spot". There insurance did not cover anything because the they stated that I provided proof of insurance. I did not have my own insurance. There was also some female living in one of the units at the time. They gave me 3 months free rent but after two months they began to charge me again. I was moved into a new unit that was by a camera. I kept my belongings there a short period longer and moved.
