Experience was good. Price and convenience was way better than Home Depot by comparison ($10 for an entire day versus $21 for four hours). Being able to keep it overnight was convenient, because we were doing the moving late into the evening.

I had to change trucks 3 times. The first one had trash, ashes and garbage all in it when I opened the door. It looked as if someone has been squatting in it. I went back inside and alerted the attendant Kevin. The 2nd truck's driver side door didn't close all the way and the truck just drove terrible. Then on top of that, once the needed items were loaded, the back door was jammed from the latch being stuck on an area of the top of the truck. I had to drive the 2nd truck back to Uhaul with my items in the back and the door up in order to swap out yet a 3rd truck. The 3rd truck had no gas in it and was at the E already! Very TERRIBLE experience and I'm still charged over $70 for this terrible service! The only good thing is that Kevin was patient and honest. This location needs some serous help!

I rented a truck and the person inside stated the truck was half full but it wasn't,it was just under half full so when I returned it I filled it to the same mark. I showed the clerk the gas receipt and he still charged me an extra $15.

I was surprised at how easy it was to organize the drop off in Romeoville while in Bellwood. I would highly recommend U-Haul to anyone.

Upon arrival to pick up the trailer, it was not 100 % operational but the attendant at the store repaired the electric hook up quickly. It was very impressive. I don't rent often so I'm not sure if this is common but I would've gladly dropped the trailer at my destination. Unfortunately, it was about 4x the price, which made me bring the empty trailer back to where I rented it.

The ratchet for the tie down strap malfunction,had to work with it over a half hour to get it to tie the vehicle down and another 40 - 50 minutes to get it to release, very frustrating.

Larry Graham was super helpful and very kind. He made our move in and move out days seamless and easy and brought tons of positive energy. This facility has multiple units of different sizes, we were able to pull our truck by the door for loading and unloading, and we had access to two full size carts for moving both times. Thank you, Larry!

Have employees at location first if all, not across the street at a gasoline station buying stuff. Then when they are available they are not helpful at all, rude and made my wife feel weird. Horrible staffing but I like Uhaul as a company because this is about the 8th time I use your services, I move a lot. Thank you if someone took the time to read this.

figure out how to make the app Sync with your store. I did Pre reservation on the app and the store had bad connectivity so all of the stuff I uploaded wasn't there. I had to give Photo and license all over again. That cut into my rental time.

Staff facility to service customers. Train your employees how to properly deal with customers and not take their personal frustrations out on the customer. Ensure equipment is functional before renting it out. This was my worst experience ever and the police had to be called. You are setting your employees up to fail by overloading their capacity and failure to train how to deal with the public.

Install tech had numerous issues with install of wiring harness. Had to return the following day because fuse harness not installed. The lights had no fuse protection and the wire was secured directly to battery. Not having proper tools for the stripping wires and crimping connections. Recommend instruction on proper install per Uhaul videos on u tube.

One thing you can do is make sure the rental has fluids. My truck ran hot and I had to pull over and get antifreeze to put in the truck, The truck was completely empty.

Customer service was horrible. I smashed my finger trying to detach the cargo trailer hitch from my truck because there was no one readily available to help me.

Moved my things in 2/26/2023 at 3:45 pm, The staff (who I never got her name), a lady who "working" this particular day, I saw sleeping in a rental vehicle when I arrived. Went inside the lobby and wasn't greeted by anyone, called the store while I was inside and still no one showed up. When the lady (who was sleeping) finally woke, she was grumpy and told me the store was closing at 4pm, the sign on door said 5pm close on Sunday. The storage unit & locks were dilapidated and not very clean. I'm worried about my storage items being kept cleaned & pest free. All in all the experience at this location was not well received and after I get my things out, I'll avoid this location at all cost and advise others do the same. 0/5 stars if possible.

Luis is Absolutely the best he’s very helpful respectful knowledgeable and understanding I really appreciate him in the young lady that was working on Saturday, March 13 she was very helpful and friendly Grace that the only complaint I have is that the storage units needs to be a little bit cleaner other than that everything was perfect for my moving experience
