This last visit there was a new young man that helped me I have never seen he was exceptional at assisting me and helping me to get started with a larger unit. I was disappointed and not the first time another employee was outside on their phone. Sometimes they are out there with a girlfriend instead of being inside assisting customers. Does not seem very professional.

I went on line and scheduled a trailer hitch to be installed. I arrived this morning at 8 am and found out I had scheduled for April instead of March. They took care of me anyway with no problems. Great group that is friendly and professional. Thank you again A.D. Frye jr

I bought several items inside the store, however I was charged way more than what the displayed price was. This is not acceptable, and thankfully I caught it by looking at my receipt! The gentleman that helped me was wonderful in taking care of that problem. BUT DO NOT TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT!

I called in advance to let them know I was extremely sick and would try to find someone to return truck and dolly. They charged me another day even though it was just 2 hours late. I called and emailed the store GM asking for assistance and never received a call or reply to email. Blood suckers!!!

The interior of the truck was very dirty with dog hair on the seats, stains on the door panels where someone had spilled a beverage of some kind. The cup holders and steering wheel were filthy. I was on a time crunch and did not have the time to bring it to the attention of the person that helped me. He was excellent and the experience at this location was extremely pleasant, however.

Not offer trucks that are not road worthy. The truck I was using was wore out and ready to be retired. Cab was filthy and had trash around the seats.

I have a noise coming from the rear where the hitch was installed. Looks like it is installed right against the exhaust. Hitch is actually touching the exh, causing a humming noise. I have to brit back to ha e it looked at!

The truck I was driving had an airbag light on which is a saftey issue and the steering was all over the place you had to constantly steer side to side in order to keep the truck tracking straight

I had a tow dolly reserved at the Kingsport for a one way to Edgewater,FL only for them to tell me on the day I was to pick up the rental that the only tow dolly they had wasn't for a one way trip. I had to scramble to try a find a tow dolly on the day I was leaving out of town. I eventually found one about 30 miles from where I was originally supposed to pick up the tow dolly. What the point of making a reservation for something they don't have. What a bunch of BS!!! I would've thought they would at least give me some kind of discount for all the time I lost, but they wouldn't. My advise to people out there making reservations with you Uhal, is to call a day in advance to make sure they have the equipment your supposed to pick up from.

We reserved a truck in advance, but during the mobile check in process the truck number that had been assigned to me was not at the current location, which led to a huge delay in the process. Nothing about it was simple or efficient, and I will not be using this location again.

The alarm goes off much to often and you have to swipe your card over and over to get it to shut up. There is no time to actually move stuff in or out without the alarm going off! They also refuse to prorate if you leave even 1 day into the next billing cycle. Very rude employees.

Make sure to CLEARLY review the hitch up system and about what you will have to do to take the unit off once you drop off, since that wasn't explained and very nearly caused a MAJOR issue when I went to drop off the trailer!

The only reason I marked the facility was not clean was because of the entry door area. The tenants had left unwanted junk and trash in this area from their units and the floor was sticky with a brown substance the last time I was there. Past those doors, the facility was really clean. Maybe it would help to have some sort of bigger trash can close to the front entry doors.

The driver's seat was stuck and could not be moved nearer to the steering wheel or gas pedal. Being short, I was forced to sit on the edge of the seat to reach the gas pedal. I could not buckle my seat belt and drive at the same time.

I scheduled my rental with the intent of checking in using my mobile phone. To do this, I needed to scan the bar code at the location. There was no bar code so I had to go in to check in. I was told the bar code sign had fallen down. When I returned the rental, I was unable to check out because the bar code still had not been replaced. The location was closed early due to weather. I called the general manager and was told it would be handled when the location reopened. As of now, I've yet to receive a final receipt or anything acknowledging my return of the vehicle.

The guys who work here are friendly and knowledgeable. Everything with our move in and out went smoothly. Only thing that could make it better would be a loading dock that lines up with the height of a truck or van for loading and onloading heavy items. Come to think of it, they may have and we just didn't see it. I really liked that they have a room for people to leave furniture or items they no longer want or need so you can "shop" and take something you need. Love to see a good recycle/reuse in operation. That is very cool perk at this location.

The first truck had a check engine light and over 150 000 miles, the next two trucks would not stand and finally the fourth truck worked. The truck that is assigned to be rented should be checked before the customer arrives. Staff was very rude as well.

the only thing not clean/maintained was the back bathroom. everything else was great. i struggled with paying my bill due to recent hard times and I was so graciously allowed to move my belongings instead of these wonderful guys auctioning my things. iI am so grateful and thankful for the understanding of my situation and allowing me the opportunity to keep my belongings. thank you so much. this is a really great faculty!

I initially rented a smaller unit because "I don't have that much stuff." Reality appeared about a week later and I needed to upsize. The U-Haul agents were "out of this world" helpful and kind! I have only good things to say about my entire experience with them. *** My initial voyage around the gutted out KMART store was not scenic at all. Brand new partitions lined from wall to wall. Clean, dry, well-lit building. I could NOT find my cubicle! Luckily, the nice cleaning lady informed me I was in the "Do it Yourself" section and I needed to explore the "Toys" section to find my spot. I knew exactly where to go. Away I went! Past the "Kitchen Korner," a 90 degree turn by "One Hour Photo" then a stroll through "Lay-a-Way" and VOILA....I FOUND MY SPOT! Happy I was to release my baggage! The best feeling ever! THANK-YOU U-HAUL! I was delighted with my experience!

Staff was very helpful with us. We really wish there was a service to move our things to a bigger unit, and have the U-Haul employees move it for us. We literally get 1 1/2 days a week off and work 12 1/2 hours a day five days a week so it's difficult for us. We also have more things to be stored. 423-278-4002 we work third so a message or text will be great if we don't answer.

U-haul storage in Bristol, TN is a great place to keep your stuff. You can access your things any time in their climate controlled area. IT is safe, well lit and everything anyone could want in a storage facility.

No lock was in the unit as stated by the online check in. Also not a very good looks when there's roaches just as you walk into the facility. Then to top it off, you have a long term customer stating that they were getting their stuff out of their unit as fast as they could backside the facility was disgusting and the had a water leak right next to their unit.

When I paid my bill and tried to get my stuff there was a lock other than the one I had used I was not allowed to cut it and take my stuff now you are trying to make me pay more storage with no guarantee I can even get it so basically you stole my property I'm looking into court proceedings but I work out of state

Noah and the entire staff working 2/18 & 2/19 were great to work with. I'm glad to know that I get an entire month free to store my belongings and just because they were so pleasant I feel a sense of ease about my things and continuing month to month rental after the trial ends!!!! Very satisfied how quickly they were able to help me out with equipment rental plus storage on such a short notice because I lost my reservation number. They made a very stressful situation for my fiance and I alot better thanks to their kindness and willingness to help us. Will highly recommend to everyone!

Getting everything setup & going was extremely easy! The staff were very helpful with instructions to access the unit, how to get there, which entrance would be easiest. We also had to make an adjustment, and the staff took care of the problem no sweat! I'm very pleased and would recommend this option to anyone needing some storage.

Absolutely the best experience at this facility for storage rental. The staff was extremely helpful and went above expectations on my storage needs. On a separate note, the recommendation by uhaul for a third party to offload my items, was a disaster. The worst experience. It was over a year ago. I did find a new company to load up all the goods to my new home, and clear out the Uhaul storage. I found a company in Elizabethton TN called Bennett Movers. They were also absolutely the best movers. They treated my personal items as theirs. It was the most enjoyable move experience.

Often times there wasn't staff available. We moved out and couldn't find anyone to tell. When I called it just rang then got connected to a service desk. She said I have to tell them in person. We were an hour away ! I asked why she couldn't just tell them herself. You need better software

I would give this area a much higher rating if the loading/unloading garage areas were available, they have everyone walking from the main entrance and placing people in storage units all the way at the end of the building I'd rather not have to do more hard work after I've already been moving all day. So I was dissatisfied with the fact they won't let you use the garage bays for unloading, also when i tried to disarm my unit at the main entrance it let me but then it kept denying me access to get in the door. Luckily there was still someone on site that could put her numbers in and hold the door open long enough for me to get in but even she couldnt tell me why it was denying me access to the door but letting me check in and out. 24 hour access would be nice as well.

I'm still a customer overall it's a great place. The only thing I wasn't happy with was being charged for some one else's unit. Still waiting for my refund. And still have to fight with my back since the improper payment for the unit made my account overdraft in the middle of a move.

I didn't ask to take a survey you asked me to take a survey. When soliciting someone for assistance of any kind it should be on the person's terms that you are soliciting from. So if I choose not to answer any of the questions above it should be taken at face value and I should not have to complete a survey in its entirety. Any information that I choose to give you should be good enough. Your customer service lacks because of these types of demands that you're placing on consumers. A customer feels that their boundaries are not being respected because when given opportunities to answer certain questions should they choose not to answer them but forcing them to complete a survey you're not building proper trust and relationships with your customers by doing so. Naturally this will probably fall on deaf ears and toss into a pile somewhere to which it will not be taken to heart and thus the brand loyalty and trust continue to decline.

trailer was dirty ! trash & grass ... i asked it be cleaned was promised it would be he removed 1 piece of trash *I cleaned the grass out when I dropped it off in Fla UHAULin general is a PITA ! I never had, not even one roach in my house and I go to check my storage unit and now my things are infested with roaches. This facility is clearly doing nothing for cleanliness and infestation. Also, I have access codes but every time I access my unit, alarms go off and I am unclear as to why this is?

When I first tried to get my unit there was nobody there that knew how to rent me the unit at 10am. After I got my stuff out after a month I had roaches all in my clothes. Bad service and not clean.

The security system card reader for the entrance to my area of storage was not working well and I could not access directly requiring assistance from the office. The card would read in the office but not at the door. Also, I reserved a 10 X 20 unit online but when I got there they said they did not even HAVE 10 X 20 units. The do have 10 X 15 but none were available so I had to rent two 10 X 10 units.

The gentleman Giles that's very nice I worked with me through every issue that I had I would definitely recommend U-Haul to anyone as long as he is working along with Mark and Sean also they all went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were taking care of

I had no problems but there was another woman that kept setting off the alarm while I was inside. There was also some sort of box that said "poison" in the unit I was renting. Hope you do not have a rodent problem.

I selected Uhaul storage solely because of the first month free. when arriving at the Bristol location, they had no record of my online check in and then they charged me for the first month. This is deceiving marketing and fraudulent. Website says first month is free with one way truck or trailer rental. I will not be staying more than this month.

Arrived at the building for the first time, the automatic doors opened and I walked right in. Went to my unit, opened the door and activated the alarm. Instructions need to emphasize "FOLLOW THESE STEPS OR ELSE" for a better first-time move-in experience. The alarm works great!

Don't know who the lady behind the desk is or what her title is, but she completely ignored me. I stood there for at least ten minutes before the two younger guys called me over to their desk. There was a mistake with my reservations but the manager Joel made it right.

The older gentleman that met me in the parking lot and hung with me throughout the process was excellent? The younger worker at the desk was fast asleep when we approached the desk and had to be woken by the gentleman helping me. The younger man was also very slow in processing requests. He also could not find the size we needed and we settled for a smaller one. When we went to unload, we noticed an empty one of the size we needed. The older gentleman then took over our order as the other man was with a customer. He found the one we had seen was empty and confirmed it was open and rented it to us.

No one explained the access card to us so we have been locked out of the storage unit! This was our first time using a Uhaul storage so had no idea we'd get locked out. Staff could have explained it instead of just handing me the card with no instructions. Access hours are suppose to be 24hrs but access stops at 10pm. Not happy about that either

Moved out August 30, 2021, unable to cancel storage online on my account the option was grayed out. Could not get anyone at the facility itself to answer the phone, when they did answer the phone they hung up on us without saying a word. In addition I called they hundred number for U-Haul and spoke to a tech they told me oh well you'll just need to go in there, first that wasn't what I was told when I got to the building I was told I could cancel online or via telephone second I have Covid I can't just go in there. In addition it show me owing for September and for October, I moved out August 30 oh nothing. It took nine days before I received my cancellation receipt, the customer service with U-Haul is terrible.

I was a ball of nerves. I'm being evicted . I'm a widow at age 62 and someone thought I was dealing drugs. HOWEVER I FEED THE HOMELESS FROM MY KITCHEN JUST A FEW. BUT I THANK GOD 1 MORE MOUTH WONT BE HUNGRY TONIGHT. SO BE IT I CAN SLEEP IN MY CAR WITH 2 PUPPIES. IM BLESSED....

The storage was fine but billing then trying to rectify was and still is a nightmare. Over charged by $265, drove 1hr 2x to get credit Could not do it, then attempted 2 credits 1st for 104.95. Wrote it for 10,495!!!!! Then to rectify charged me 10,495. Due to this my cc co had to reduce available credit. The CHARGE HIT IMMEDIATELY BUT NOT THE CREDIT!!!! Upset disgusted least how I feel

I moved out of the storage unit on the 19th of the month, I paid for the full month on the 15th and was not reimbursed for the balance of the month, the rent should have been pro rated for the month, I had my rent set up on auto payment and for 9 months my rent was paid on time. This is not the way to treat good customers, I also rented several trucks and trailers from this location. I don't believe I will use them again in the future

I called and asked about getting help to unload my truck before arriving to drop off my U-Haul truck and was told no one could help. When I arrived there was 4 people hanging out behind the desk just chatting amongst themselves.

Even though their systems were down when we arrived, they went above & beyond to accommodate us in spite of the mistakes made by the Denver U-HAUL we'd left from.

Please tell the customer up front they have to have a lock. Think about equipping some units with a rod for hanging clothes.

The facility is climate controlled. You back your vehicle into a secure 2 bay area and use a keycard to open the doors to the facility. Once inside you find carts for your use, as well as security beyond what you would expect. If someone tries to open your unit without first scanning your keycard to gain entry an alarm sounds and security is alerted. UHaul seems to have this storage thing covered!
