I go out of my way each and every time to ONLY rent from this location. Considering the awful experiences I've had at other U-Haul locations in Ontario, this location is a very welcome change. Great service all around!

Friendly staff welcomes you through the door and takes care of you until you leave the property. The rep processed the rental and then came outside and helped attach the trailer to my truck. Lights check and done. Less than 30mins in and out.

The ratchet straps that hold the wheels down on the trailer were rusty and needed lubrication before they would work. I had to stop at a Canadian tire or just some oil put it on there so they would work the way they were supposed to other than that, everything else worked fine thank you very much,

Uhaul changed my pick-up location to an agent site initially. The outcome was a disaster, the truck was dirty, there was several areas of damage that had not been previously recorded. After taking 25 minutes recording the bumps and bruises when driving away the check engine light was on. Uhaul tried to cancel my reservation and reschedule another weekend due to no trucks available. I was then told they located a vehicle at the original location in Burlington after an uncomfortable conversation for them, the Burlington location and staff were great and the truck was spotless. I lost 3 hours + due to the change in locations and waiting for confirmation of a replacement rental. Not my first bad experience with Uhaul. If they try to change your reservation to an agent (was a glorified farm) refuse the pick-up and insist on the original. They need to assess their agent locations and standards

Please install fold-up jack stands with heavy trailers like 6x12, it’s physically impossible to take off and put on for a week person.

This location has been good to me so far. I do have to say that if Tracy wasn't there I wouldn't have such a good review. She was very helpful when checking into my last unit and very clear and patient as I had never rented a unit before so I didn't know the drill so to speak. Thank you Tracy!

The staff at the Mainway location are just amazing. They are super helpful, have a great attitude and I can't say enough about them. I would have no hesitation renting a vehicle or a storage unit from them again.

The vehicle was noisy and strong exhaust smell in the cab, had to drive with the window open, unsafe. The dolly in the back was not required, and in the way. The security tag was broken when an item got caught on the dolly while moving into the truck. Dolly should be optional.

They wouldn't let me rent the truck I needed to rent. They said my card would not allow me to. I have the same card I used last time I rented the exact truck. So I had to rent a much more expensive and bulky truck that I didn't need. And had to pay more in gas as well as parking issues. Not impressed at all.

The team were very professional. My only suggestion would to ensure the customer is aware of where the full lights are for the truck so when it gets dark the customer can easily turn in the full lights.

After renting the trailer from this location 3 times in total this was the worst trailer . All trailer would jump and make the car feel unsafe. We mentioned this each time and the staff kept telling us this is normal. Even when loaded the trailer would bang and rattle against our hitch. The suspension in either damaged and not maintained.

I was suppose to pickup at 1505 Guelph Line at 8:30 waiting till 8:50 called the number no one answered and no one at the location fro me to pickup . I called the 1800 number and was asked to come to the mainway location at the mainway location they were great so this is the review I'm giving not for Guelph line I was not impressed with that location

Storage facility was excellent and the staff were super friendly and accommodating, especially when I was moving my U-Box for a cross country move. There were a few times where I showed up to my unit and the power to the building was off. If possible, it would be nice to know that the power was off through some sort of notification system to save the trip to the unit, but this is very minor.

I picked up at trailer at around 3 pm on Sunday February 18,2024 and returned it around 6pm on the same day. I asked about where to leave the trailer and was told by the service rep to put it in the same spot . I did what I was told returning the trailer where the others were parked. The next day there was a $20 Etra charge on my credit card and bill for not closing out the order. I have rented many trailers from U-haul from this and other locations. I returned many after hours and have never been up charged. The trailer was back in time for next day's business. I called the location and was basically told to read my contract. I responded by saying that if some one had told me to close it out I would have. I lodged a complaint and wanted to speak with a manger but was told no one was there and someone would call me the next day. On Tuesday February 20, 2024 I went back to the location and was told there was no manager available that they were in meetings. As of today Wednesday February 21, 2024 no one from U-Haul has reached out to correct this issue. I am very displeased with what has transpired with this rental and the lack of following through by U-Haul.

Great facility! The storage building was clean and felt very secure. The staff were always helpful and friendly which made my move a much better experience! Love that there were no hidden fees and very reasonable rates compared to other companies we looked into. Would recommend this location to anyone looking in the Burlington area!

We arrived for our reservation and were told the unit I had reserved months ago was not available. In fact, there was no drive up storage available at all which I was relying on to use. Moreover I had already cancelled other reservations I had for this type of storage at other facilities because I was assured this would be available. At the end of this entire ordeal I was not offered compensation for all the inconvenience and inconsistency. I am extremely upset about this entire experience and will be telling people about this negative U-Haul procedure.

My moving date and storage facility was booked and scheduled with Camilo on June 22, 2023 (originally unit 1679) for a Sunday June 25, 2023 move. I also booked a 10' x 15' truck with Mickey on Tuesday June 20, 2023 for pick up/return for my moving day of Sunday and date of June 25, 2023. Both were confirmed with/for me by Camilo and Mickey of your company. On early Sunday morning I received an AI message from U Haul asking me what went wrong with my storage booking and why had I decided not to take it. This was incorrect and I certainly did nothing of the kind. I left a message for a call back, which I got from some U-Haul central office point at approx. 9:00 am. I was able to quickly resolve my truck rental and after some delay I was told that he had found my storage rental as well and confirmed that I was fine to move. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the Mainway U Haul and met with Camilo he couldn't find my storage reservation although he vividly remembered taking the reservation and my credit card to hold it until I came in on Sunday. After some delay, he found the original reservation which he noted had been over- booked by/to someone name Toby B. and I was apparently out of luck. He went to the acting manager who quite frankly was not much him nor I. Camilo diligently went to work to come up with an alternative (which turned out to be a split unit (i.e. 2 units combined) although he also said to me that it looked to be costing $30 more. He went to the acting manager RAM, who said he could do nothing to resolve my additional $30 concern even though none of the issue of losing the original reservation and subsequent replacement were of any fault of mine. Camilo said he would speak to Tracy Davenport the General Manager on Monday June 26, 2023 as he felt this was unfair also. To date, I have not heard from her yet. I am confident that I will. I have heard nothing but great things about her. I do want my rate adjusted by -$30 monthly. Otherwise I felt that both Mickey and Camilo were terrific ambassadors of your company. We dealt with the lady who was the manager for both rental of a vehicle as well as rental of the storage unit. The manager was EXCELLENT! She was professional , very pleasant and courteous. I have rented vehicles before from other companies but We will only rent from your office in future. Our overall experience was great.

The one garage door has been broken for over a week and still hasn't been fixed and there's no sign on it saying that it's broken for customers to know. I did have one late night visit where the front doors would not open after I put my code in. Thankfully I was able to get in with the garage door and the door between the garage and the building was open. So that was my only frustration was that there is no consistency in the doors. Sometimes I would come late at night and the garage doors would open when I got in front of them. Sometimes I would come at night and I'd have to go inside and open the garage doors. Sometimes I'd come at night and the door between the garage and the building would open. Sometimes I would have to turn it on. I'm not sure the one evening when I came that the main door would not open after signing in. The only other thing that I was confused about is I thought the main door would stay unlocked for 30 minutes once I have signed in after hours. And I actually had to sign in every time the door closed to get it to open again when I was loading Thanks

I had multiple units. The first unit was fine and access was great as provided a code. No issues with that being clean and tidy. The current unit, closed this past weekend and had since July, was a bit problematic. We were on the new build side and so access was denied after hours despite having a code. Then the access location was changed without notification. All the material in storage was covered in a thick layer of dust twice, to which I received zero response despite going to the office and being told that the 'manager would be told'. Koodoos to the team for assisting in getting access the Sat after the storm few weeks ago.

I have never been so frustrated with a storage facility. From the start we signed up for a drive up unit. When we got there we got sent to the new location where there are none. With no choice and a full truck we were forced to move deep into a storage facility that was under construction with 24/7 access. Well since it was under construction we did not have access to our side of the building because the code machine was not installed yet. Further more I was absolutely disgusted to find that upon moving out I realized the amount of construction related dust that was all over my expensive belongings. The fact that we were paying 250+ dollars a month for this place is truly sickening and will never consider this properly taken care of unless uhaul makes this right. Which based on my experience with the desk staff I'm not expecting much. Giving this facility a 1 star seems outrageously high in my eyes. From start to finish a lack of care for the type of unit I booked and also just the overall safe keeping and cleanliness of the unit where my valuables were stored.

Limited hours. Construction. My stuff was filthy. Full of dust. Dried up patches of cement on my stuff. Disgusting. Looking into my next steps of recourse. Had to find another place and move my stuff. Tried to leave feed back in person. Lady just shrugged her shoulders. Nothing she can do. Horrible all around experience. Don't know why I am getting this. Haven't told anyone I took my stuff out. Still paid up until 23rd

What a great group of folks that work there . Always went above and beyond to keep a customer satisfied and had some great conversations with the staff . There is a lady there that would always have some sort of treats or snacks and would always offer me some when I was there . Great staff , great facility and highly recommend them if you ever need a truck or storage .

My only concern was the main entrance being under construction and having to use an alternate entrance which was much narrower and with some congestion as most vehicles were loading and unloading at this entrance. Other than that everything was great.

I have been to your facility on a number of occasions over the last 3 weeks. I've spoken with a number of staff, all of whom have been helpful and friendly. They are a good team and helped each other in order to help me. The new facility was easy to use, as there were dollies made available. Excellent experience.

I would give you guys lower rate but it d be a unfair rating for those guys who worked after hours schedules specially Porea he was above and beyond customers expectations . I d like to mention that the lady I booked with (not the blond one) other lady I think she needs more friendly approach to clients and listen what they ask and needs. My case I asked her storage closer to the loading area and she gave me farthest one and took us 3 hours to unload our stuff half of this time was just walking in front of the empty similar size storages. I was so frustrated , each time she was coming from outside smoking cigarettes and smell was unbearable. I am sorry to tell the truth .

The staff did not take customer to see the unit so when I find out that the door way was not fit my trike to go through. I have to change the unit. Another thing is that, every time i open the lock, the alarm went on. So loud and annoying. I have to go talk to staff 3 times, problem still not solved. The light on the hall way is good but for the unit inside is not bright enough. It will be great if you can improve these.

We had some issues getting into the facility once when we arrived at 7am and the door was locked. No one was able to resolve the issue and we had to leave. Also, on the day we moved out, we discovered that epoxy from a previous floor job had leaked into our unit and onto some of our boxes/content. I alerted 2 staff and no one even apologized!

Management locked our unit without even an email. Inappropriate and not the way to correct policy violations. We didn't have a nonpayment issue but we used an inferior lock, locking us out with a more expensive one with no notice. Very inconvenient.

Let me say this location (3245 Mainway, Burlington) has been the Only u-haul facility that I have used where the staff (Jojo, Mia and all the others) were friendly and extremely considerate!! Kudos to the management! My tainted opinion from using the other locations was erased by my experience at 3245 Mainway. My Storage Unit was missing the pull rope and I am Not sure if the light bulb works on a timer or it Needs replacing. If the above mentioned was in good condition, I Would have given a 5 star. Overall Experience was Good and Will come back again if and when I Need Storage again.

I'm a local Real Estate Agent and the Uhaul phone line was impossible to get through BUT when I walked into the new Uhaul on Mainway Ave I was extremely impressed. Terrific service, very well organized, helpful and easy to find. The Manager was great, friendly with a very chipper, organized staff. I will tell everyone to go here, great to see customer service so important, great job!!!

The staff have been amazing. The gentleman working last night was so friendly and genuine. Tracy has been so accommodating throughout the whole process. Moving is a stressful time and this uhaul location has been so helpful. We will continue to use this location/facility and have already recommended it to friends. The only reason I said no to the access hours being convenient is because there is no access code to the storage facility yet. I understand it will be installed sometime within the next two weeks... so not a big deal. We are still very happy with this location.
