There were two employees on site who were early for their 9am shift and they were very helpful. I didn't get their names but a woman and a man went out of their way to help me. This is the second time using this location, it's my favorite. Returning the truck was also a breeze. Merci!

I get it money, company, payroll etc. but for hard working blue collar people that use your service and drop your truck off after hours after working on our move is a kick in the ball. The last thing we want to do is try to return the truck during hours. Is a great convenience to be able to drop of your truck after hours. Other than that. Everything was great.

When I return a trailer, I want to 'see' that a staff member uses an electronic device to check me in. Not 'say' "you're good to go" and walk away without physically ending the rental. I called back after 2 hours to ask Edwin to 'return' the trailer and send me a receipt. The 'return time' showed as a few moments after I made the call to him. Bad form.

As we progressed with our move to our new home, we emptied the boxes we stored. The first two managers encourage us to leave the boxes so others could use them. The third manage reprimanded us.

She was able to help me find a vehicle right away, and when I went on site, every person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and competent. I would use you guys again in a heartbeat…. For an after hour return that I tried to check in, and tried to get a hold of someone to find out why I was screwed for another $20.!!! Ridiculous!!! I got the car, and it had less gas, and it was too late to let the app know so I got it there too.

Because we were told that $117 was on hold and if we add anymore days to the Uhaul it would be deducted from the funds that was on hold we were never told that each time we would be charged insurance on the same vehicle wow that's very costly

Melissa PYour online/automated systems are HORRENDOUS!!!! I checked in the night before, filled out and provided ALL of the info to have a seamless and quick pick up experience. 15 min before picked up (as I got into my car to drive over) I got a SMS message asking ne to provide info I already provided the night before (which I did - 2nd time now) When I showed up at the pick up location - I wasn't able to use the order - the app/website would not work correctly and a rep had to rebook everything AGAIN from scratch (this is 3rd time) wasting my valuable time. To top it off, I was told to bring the truck back with gas "a little above 1/2 mark line" - that's EXACTLY what I did. Despite it - I was charged a fuel fee and when I called customer service, I was told that gas was "at the 1/2 mark line" This is so imprecise and subjective. Your service was HORRIBLE!!! I will NEVER EVER use U-Haul again. You're an incompetent, unprofessional business!!!

Truck had one more mile than contract said and the attic space leaked so I could only make one run which has set my moved back by at least a day. Just not at all what I needed

Gee BThe van was very clean and even smelled good. I only drove 12 miles and put in over 2 gallons of gas and was still charged for 2 gallons of gas, but I am not going to spend the time to challenge the charge to recoup only $7.

HUMBERTO MMaureen took the original order and made the installation appointment. She was very pleasant professional and explained everything over the phone making it very easy to understand. I arrived for the install and was greeted by Kayla who was also very pleasant to work with. Jean was my installation technician. He was very through, careful and friendly. When he was finished he too the time with me to show me how to install the hitch and checked the wiring to be sure it was working properly by hooking up to a trailer. I am very pleased with the job turned out. Everyone involved were very helpful and professional. A very special shout out to Jean for such fine workmanship. He was clean and neat. Even with the wiring under the hood. Nice people. Thank you all.
Sal DLocation is great, place is clean, I rented a pick up truck and it was perfect, but workers there don't know to to treat a customer, disrespectful, they don't know how to say:hi, good afternoon, please, thank you, nothing, I had to deal with a guy when a returned the truck and because I parked in a "wrong" place he started to treat me like an idiot, that's wrong, he should explain me not yell at me. The lady I returned the truck was supposed to send me the invoice with the total and I am waiting for 27 hours and nothing, really disappointed with those employees

Spencer FThey never walked the truck with me and marked the fuel level amount. Only had half a tank and when I brought it back they wanted me to fill the whole truck up. I argued that wasnt fair the manager agreed and charged me for the truck and for the 13 miles I drove. Later that day my bank reached out saying they are trying to charge me $450 for driving the truck 355 miles. I only had the truck 2 hours! PLUS they already charged me the proper correct amount. Fuel amount was wrong AND the mileage they wrote down is WAY off. This has been the worst exp ever.

Your employees as the storage unit and truck rentals (individual locations and FL resv) were rude l, hung up on me, never picked up when I tried calling back, never had my serve ration which was made weeks in dance, never tried to help to find me a truck and lastly the storage unit charged me full cost plus late fee for 7 days with no proration. And rude and disrespectful employees. One employee at the storage unit was hearing my conversation with another employee and she took it upon herself to discuss my issues with the client sitting I front of her! Inappropriate and unprofessional. Again Inaul needs to invest in HR training for all employees and additional trucks obviously you are getting the business!

I arrived to find human feces was thrown over the top of my locked storage unit and onto my items i was paying to store there. Upon reporting it to the office i was insulted by the man in the office and nothing was done about it. I had to clean this up myself even though i pay to store items securely at this place. They would not check the cameras, they would not have my unit cleaned, and i did not even get a call back from the manager. I will never rent or storage items at uhaul again. I have posted google reviews with pictures for this location. I have reported it to corporate but still nothing has bene done. The customer service is so bad that the man i spoke to in the office that yelled at me and seemed insulted that i wanted him to do something about the situation, cared more about the nfl team shirt i was wearing more than the situation. This is the worst customer service staff of any place i have been in my life. Not even a little professional.

The Johnson location needs more staff because my 1st reservation on Saturday Aug 5th wasn't fulfilled within the right time because there was only 1 lady working that shift. The customer service reps on the phone and the reps inside the store are not on the same page so there is a lot of miscommunication. I experienced a delayed reservation which had to be rescheduled & An oversight as it pertained to a storage unit & a rude costumer service rep (on the phone) who had no empathy. But I must say - Maureen Smart & Eddie were the 2 people who made sure that every inconvenience was sorted and truly explained and communicated everything effectively. They showed genuine care & I'm really moved to write this review due to them. Moving on your own for the first time isn't easy. Maureen Smart took time to explain, fix and made sure everything was fair & dealt with. Thankyou Ms. Maureen Smart.

But now i'm really sad with my experience with the new people that are working on the store now. The new manager Deloris its a ignorant, arrogant, and unhelpfull and definitely she do not have the touch to be a manager. She lied about the availability of storage units, wildly shouted at me and my son that we were just trying to hire a service, influenced other employees to treat me and my son badly and telling the servers not to do what the u haul app was saying it should be done, stating that this store was hers and she would do whatever she wanted. I have to do the online check in because they recuse to do it in person in the way that it should be done. we were treated badly and coerced. definitely would not recommend this unit to friends.

However, I received an email indicating my unit was vacant we without confirming with me. My payment was up to date and not due until 4/4/2023. I called and the lady couldn't understand or address the issue. She kept saying I was vacated by the manager because my unit was up for auction!

I will put my experience with U-HAUL on the internet so other can see. The truck had a messed up front , the windshield washer only worked on the passenger side. They gave me reservation for the free month rental and the first place didn't have it so sent me a public storage that is not owned by u-haul so they didn't give a free month. They gave me a third location and they could not give paperwork because printer didn't work and they didn't tell me about you have to have a special code for 24 he access. I will not recommend U-haul to anyone.

On the day I went to empty my storage and close my account, they were waxing the floors in the middle of the day and had "caution" tape hung across the door to the storage building. When I complained to the manager and told him he was ridiculous for doing such a thing, one of his employees threatened to assault me and had to be restrained by his coworkers. I would rather leave my things in a stranger's backyard than ever rent from U-Haul!

I screwed shot The hold call and sent it to the manger asking for someone to come to the phone. Instead of receiving an apology for the wait, I was told she was on lunch and her staff was busy. The the alarm system did not work properly and it did not matter to enter the code corrctly every time the alam sounded when open the storage unit and it was loud and disturbing. Lights will turn off very fast and the unit was in total dark very annoing to keep going to the hall to activate the lights frequently. Most of the staff was nice but some were not very friendly.

You can pull up the recorded phone records and see that I have been trying to get a storage and turn in the u hual for several days but was promoted to extend the U-Haul for 3-4 days because of a mistake on your end !! I also was not granted any compensation or voucher for extra millage and days with the U-Haul ! I do not think this is fare at all ! If I am charged extra I will be disputing the charges due to unsatisfactory with the service and product !

Even the truck is terrible, it takes a long time to change gears, it looks like it's going to explode, never have such a big loss with uhal. I rented at CoconutCreeck to come to Kissimmee +/- 180miles. I spent 95 dollars of gasoline, an absurd, came to 65/70 mhp as you should see in the truck's gsp. Today when I went to the drop off I lost another 8 tolls and 1 hour because no GPS can find the address they put in the truck. After finding and arriving at the place at 5:05pm it is already closed. absurd!! As I don't have time to go back another time, I stopped the truck behind where there were others and threw the key into the place. Bad experience this time with U-Haul. Spending $95 to walk 180 miles I can't imagine doing it again.

Today there was a bunch of trash strewn at the entrance to the elevator and a skinhead looking guy standing right by the door smoking a joint in front of everyone. I'm sure that's a one off but maybe if staff were keeping an eye on that entrance they can improve the situation a bit.

Our experience was very enjoyable due to her professionalism, problem solving, and a great work ethic. Just when we were ready to give up on Uhaul services, Cheri went out of her way ( on her day off none the less) to make sure that we were taken care of. When someone takes pride in their work, it shows. The level of integrity on her part is to be an example to all. My family and I cannot thank Cheri enough for the exceptional service we received. Finally, this storage facility is the cleanest and well-maintained I have ever seen! Put in a pool and a breakfast buffet and I am moving in!
Lynden W | Expérience généraleI originally got this storage room when the pandemic had just started and they had the one free month special for college students. The staff that did my initial process wasn't nice at all and failed to let me know that I had to get a specific round lock for the unit when I asked she said that any was fine. It was then when I was already living 5 hours away that I kept getting calls about that I needed a new lock because it wasn't "correct" and once I finally was able to move back down to the area I couldn't access my unit with out paying a fee for something that should've been told to me initially. When I switched debit cards I forgot to update it on my account and was so used to doing autopay instead of calling or emailing me I get emailed a week later about getting a late fee, that again could've been easily fixed if I got contacted about it before the bill was due. Another experience I had with getting a moving truck here wasn't too pleasant either. If I do have to do storage with uhaul again I'll have to try a different location.

The workers they had helping didnt care about what they were moving and made sure they scratched or dented everything they moved. Like my white tv stand and my couch because they were rushing. So make sure you are watching everything

A week before we were moving our stuff out, we had driven from our house (40 mins away) to the unit to find out the elevator was broken and the stuff we needed to put in wouldn't fit in the stairwell. A few days later, we needed to book movers for our move out and the Uhaul representative on the phone assured me the elevator would be working because it would be a week from then (surely it wouldn't take more than a week to fix the elevator!! And surely if it wasn't fixed, we'd be told so we could plan accordingly!!) Well guess what? It didn't happen. After we paid $300 for our movers...expecting it to take a certain amount of time based on the time it took us to move in WITH the elevator...it took the FULL time for the movers to move everything down the stairs and they couldn't complete the job. They had another appointment after us so they couldn't help us unload at our house. If we had been aware of the elevator being out of service, we wouldn't have spent $300 on movers! Thanks for the awesome communication, Uhaul.
Rebeka L | Expérience généralemy rating is based on the fact that there are no rooms available on the street level and the elevator was not working, which means i'd have to carry my storage items up 2 flights of stairs. i have a heart condition and cannot do this. i am interested in renting a 5x5 room however, if it can't be on the first floor, the elevator must be working. hopefully, the elevator will be fixed this week, as i need to rent a storage room by month end.

Jeffrey B | Premières impressionsIt's my 3rd time using this store. I booked a 20ft truck and reserved a 10x10 unit on the 1st floor before I left. I received confirmation that the unit on the first floor was available. When I went to get into the truck the person told me it was in the "garage" so I went looking for it, after several minutes of walking I was not able to find it because it wasn't there, it was in the other side of the building so you can understand I was a little frustrated. After a long day of moving, my help and I arrived back to unload and place everything in the unit I had made the reservation in the 1st floor, we started unloading and bringing about 2 trips inside just to find out that the unit was still occupied!!!!! Horrible! I went back inside and the woman said it happens often, well it's unacceptable! We had to load everything back and drive to the side of the building to store in the 2nd floor. I was livid and so my was help, extremely disappointed at the lack of communication and customer service.

The manager has friendly kind attitude he never made me feel that he was unapproachable. She was a deer in headlights how that wouldn't work. She finally moved me to 3rd floor (she had no idea where it was on a map.) we then got stuck in the broken elevator while holding a couch. Called the emergency button in the elevator and it went to a uhaul recording (is that legal?) It was like a hidden camera prank show, and the employees low IQ is a Corp liability

Other units were available on the first, second floor and closer to the elevators. This distance added to our moving time making us incur in more expenses as we needed to rent the truck extra days.

What if I had planned on loading furniture into my storage unit the day I got the keys to my 2nd floor unit?! Outrageous. Also, it took us over 30 minutes to locate our unit as the key card was not working. I understand they aren't doing unit showings due to COVID but the front desk lady did a horrible job at explaining where the unit was and how to access it. She told us only how to access it from the elevator (WHICH WAS BROKEN) and said nothing about stairs. We were drenched in sweat running around the building trying every single door. Only for her to finally explained after 30 minutes of getting lost that we have to use the stairs (and no key card is needed?!?!) since the elevator is broken. Such a waste of time. I pray that the elevator is not broken next weekend when I move my things into my storage unit. After this experience, I will not rent here again. For the price I paid, I expected much better.

MARVIN T | Premières impressionsUpon arrival to return the truck, I mentioned to the attendant that I wanted to rent a storage unit and that I needed to unload before returning the truck. She proceeded to tell me to return the truck first, only to have the other employee tell to go get the unit first. One she was done helping another customer I explained I need the unit first. I had to repeat the size of the unit I needed 3 times. She finally gave me the entry Card with no map, unloaded my truck headed to the unit only to find out it was a handicap unit. I had to return to her once again and told her she had given me the wrong unit. Her reaction was apologetic at all. Got back on the computer and gave me the unit furthest away from the elevation and not once apologize for giving the wrong unit on purpose. I have been to uhaul mover 10 times and this is by far the worse service I've had at uhaul. Jimena Chumbe should be retrained. My customers receipt number is 7880-28-102331-109616. Due to lack of professionalism I wasted 1 hour going back and forth dealing my return by an hour. The rest of the staff was great.

Ana K | Expérience généraleI rented a truck on 06/10 at 06:00pm to deliver on the same day around 11:00pm. Nobody told me that the storage would be closed at 10pm. I was told all the time that it would be 24h for me. I arrived on 06/10 at night with the truck totally loaded and for my surprise, my access was denied and I couldn't get in the building. I called the customer service but the lady couldn't do anything. I had to come back to my house with the truck. On the other day, 06/11, I went to the Uhaul Store (Coconut Creek, Johnsons Rd, FL) @ 7am and I told them about the inconvenient that I had and I would pay only one day of rent because I couldn't unload the truck due to a Uhaul's fault. An attendant called Jimena agreed with that. On the 06/11 I went to the uhaul storage to unload the truck around 06pm. Same msg appeared on the device's screen next to the door: "ACCESS DENIED" as soon as I put my code. I ran to the office and told them about that same message that was also appearing on the day before. The attendant said: "You should swipe your card" and I said: "Nobody gave me a card" and the attendant was surprised. He went to the office and brought back a card and said" Use this card". I started unloading the truck and around 06:50pm I swiped the card and the same msg appeared: "ACCESS DENIED" I ran to the office again while they were locking the door. They were very rude, saying that the system was already closed and they didn't know if they could do something about. I found a customer, an old man, and he told me that there is a main device that we need to swipe the card first and it worked. The Uhaul's attendants were very unprepared. I told them that it was my first time and even this way they didn't instruct me properly and/or they didn't know about their own internal process. For my new surprise, when I was returning the truck by the website: www.uhaul.com/share, I was charged for both days instead of one as the attendant Jimena agreed to do I really really really do not recommend the Uhaul Storage of Coconut Creek and I would like you guys to proceed with only one day of rent. Also, just to let you guys know, I rented an space of 10x15" for around 3 months but I wont do that in the future with Uhaul Coconut Creek (Johnsons Road).
