I was charged $57 for refueling, but I refueled the truck immediately prior to dropping it off. I received the truck with a 1/4 tank, and I returned the truck with slightly over 1/4 tank. I need to be refunded that charge.

troy mernattiI was disappointed in the customer service I received from the clerks who waited on me when I picked up the cargo van. My first problem occurred after I signed the contract for the cargo van and the clock started ticking on its rental. I asked what my storage unit number was so that we could unload our goods. The clerk was surprised that I was bringing the goods to be stored there. It took her twenty minutes to find my contract because the computer was slow in responding, and then she seemed to have difficulty finding an available unit. Then no one told me where the vehicle was located in the parking lot, and I had to go back into the store to find someone to point it out to me. Once we got our goods loaded and returned to the facility to store them, I went in to set the passcode for it. A young man offered to take me to the unit so we would know where it was. Turns out it was in the basement, and the elevator was out of commission for an extended period of time, and we had a power reclining chair to carry down two flights of stairs! SO with the clock ticking on our van rental, we went back to the office to find another unit on the first floor. We finally were able to complete our move which would have so much smoother if the clerks had told me that our storage unit was in the basement and the elevator was out of service and where the van was that I had rented. Simple awareness of how to provide excellent customer service!

Michael BrownDesk agent unfriendly. The back of the truck was dirty and the engine on the sounded like it was about to die, poor acceleration and the transmission was very rough. I only got 5 miles per gallon and the majority of the time the truck was empty highway driving. Very disappointing.

Darren BrinleeThe guy at U=Haul told me they would check me in, no problem. Then he marked my gas tank at 1/8 of a tank when it was actually 3/8 to 1/2. Charged me for gas after I had just put in over 5 gallons minutes before. Unless this is corrected immediately with a refund of the extra charges and an apology, I will report to the Better Business Bureau. I have proof of all of this. I thought I could trust the check-in guy to be honest and thorough at check-in. He wasn't.

John GrusselI rented a U-Haul and paid for insurance. The truck was damaged while park now U-Haul is trying to charge me $250 and they never mentioned a $250 charge to me this is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
Curtis BrownMy uhaul wasn't checked in when I returned it nor the next day it took 3 phone calls and a visit back to the location to get a finalized bill and for my deposit back (3-5 business days, don't use pre-paid cards or they hold a deposit!) I've done a lot of rentals never had a single issue however won't be going back to that location on the future!

Brad MartinMake sure the mirrors are tightened. The passenger side mirror moved freely and as I pulled onto the freeway it spun to the side and I wasn't able to see to my right to change lanes. It was an extremely dangerous situation. Not to mention the lady that was cleaning the windows and mirrors before I took the truck must have known and still let it go out.

The entire rental and return experience was hassle free and most importantly the store employees was so helpful on hooking the trainer + I received pdf laying steps on how to do it. JOHN CRAWFORDThe facility has roaches I did NOT want to leave my stuff and am concerned about getting it. I saw a dead roach INSIDE the unit and a baby crawling on the way out. I've never dealt with a storage place that had roaches. If I saw it the workers know that the roaches are there. I saw a busted bottle of sauce on the floor but of course the cleaning lady was standing around, then left. The online process was great even though I got lost while moving in. The girl who helped was nice but ROACHES are disgusting and that ruined it all. I'm sad for my stuff!

William PimpoWhen they gave me the first van, I was told it was 1/4 full of gas and I needed to return it at that level or pay $17.00. When I got into the vehicle, the gas gauge was below the empty line and the low fuel light was on. I asked them about this and they said, that is what we have! I asked if there was enough gas to get too a gas station and they didn't know. I asked what happened if I ran out of gas before I could get to a station. They said call the road side assistance help people. I asked her toput a couple of gallons of gas in it and they refused, saying we do not put gas inu haul vehicles. After refusing the van, they brought me another. It was full of gas, but the low air tire light was on. I had to stop and put air in tires. By the time I returned the vehicle (4 hours) the tire was low on air again. I have rented 6 u haul vehicle in the last year facilitating a move. Every experience has been great until this last one. I was very disappointed and would tell people to avoid this location at all costs

Clifton FLax | Premières impressionsWe were directed to pick up a trailer it was parked in the mud while there were several not in the mud the lady told me to take the one in the mud I got stuck had to be pulled out ,the employee locked us out told us he was doing it early because he didn't want to come back told us to use small side door however it was locked also our code no longer worked took an hour and a half to get back in as we were waiting a car pulled up with several men they were very scary and we got the impression they were going to rob us we picked up our phones like we were calling the police and they left it was a very bad day ! Caused us a considerable delay .

Came back on 9/30 to attempt to drop storage items and there were no carts available to use. Other customers were hoarding carts and wouldn't share. We were told by your team first come first served and that they couldn't limit how many carts one person could use.

One employee flipped us off and another whispers jokes about you in front of you to other staff. My storage unit had a code put on it without my knowledge and I wasn't even offered to put my own code on my unit. I came twice to access my unit after the office was closed and my key card granted me access but the doors wouldn't open because unbeknownst to me they had a code on my unit so I wasn't able to access after hours. I texted the General Manager and received absolutely no response. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anybody.

Dana Boales | Expérience généraleWe had the storage unit for 20 years (yikes!) so we have a lot of experience with multiple managers and staff. I was always treated with respect and got help when I needed it. The facility was always clean. In all the years we did not find a single bug or rodent in our storage units. The loading dock and carts make a tough core as convenient as could be expected. The only problem is parking near the storage building. At busy times it can be a zoo. The ability to prepay for a year to freeze current rate and get a 13th month free saved us hundreds of $$.

When I moved out she coldly said she did not have time check the unit. I am still getting late notices and letters in the mail. I moved out as I was required. Given the rude behavior of that employee Im not surprised at the poor book keeping practices at this facility. On top of that my unit was floored. I doubt that I will ever use U-haul again.

The seal on the doors was broken, so the wind was extremely loud in my ear (sounding like the window was down) the entire 40 minutes to my destination and 40 minutes return! This made for a very uncomfortable, and nerve racking experience!

Stephen Tyler | Expérience généraleFirst my unit was flooded and I experienced great loss. We had to move me to another unit on a separate floor from my other unit. Then they proceeded to charge me a late fee on the new unit even contacting my next of kin. One notice threatened to prevent me access despite being paid in full. When I called I was not allowed to speak and I was spoken to so poorly by the manager that I absolutely cannot believe it. I rented a Penske truck and moved BOTH my units out and into a different storage unit. Luckily, at least for now, you are not the only game in town. I hope to never do business with U-Haul again, and I vowed to tell everyone who will listen about how poorly I was treated throughout this entire unfortunate experience.

When I FINALLY almost emptied by big unit and saw that there was a little one nearby, again not a problem. Then when they had a water line break (first problem ever) they handled it quickly and professionally. If I ever need another unit I would absolutely use them again.

Storage unit was on the second floor and was broken into and completely trashed twice. The second time it happened I was never even contacted. I went up on a Friday to pick up some things and found it broken into, went downstairs to confront the staff and they told me the break in happened on Monday. They refused to show the video tape even after the police arrived to take my statement. Later found out the break in happened 3 weeks prior to the original date they told me. Thousands of dollars worth of items stolen both times and the staff were completely unhelpful.

I created a pin that worked perfectly though. I found the floors were typically very clean, but there was trash and debris left by people. It always seemed to get cleaned up, but people kept making messes. I found the facility smelled like dirty clothes. I often would find the main doors open during the day. People would not check-in they would follow people in and would not seem to have credentials to check-in. I found the parking lot was often a disaster after hours and it was difficult to find a parking spot during the day. People seemed to leave their vehicles for extended periods in the parking spots and there was generally a shortage of spots available. I would often have to carry things across the parking lot to my vehicle.

After multiple attempts I finally reach the store only to be told a manager has to perform the credit. Never heard anything again. Yesterday I am there in person at 130pm and the manager has "left for the day". They took my name and number down, yet my confidence is not high I will ever see that money again. Horrible horrible management.

I had to enter the main building to ask for help. I paid online so I wouldn't need to go inside due to COVID precautions because no employee was wearing a mask. When I got to my storage unit. The sliding part of the lock was extremely hard to move. I called for help but by the time the employee made it to me. I had used my cellphone to get the lock to slide over to open the unit. Well, the employee that did show up acted like he was annoyed with helping me. He asked, if I paid my 1st months rent. I told him that I wouldn't have gotten access if I hadn't. I let him know it was difficult to open but I got it open but the lock was not inside like previously stated while signing up online. I asked the employee would he bring it to me. He said," I could come to the office when I was ready because he had customers and he was busy." I did not appreciate that comment because I am a paying customer too and I explained to him I had already been in the office for help with access with door and I didn't want to go back to the office for something that should have already have been placed inside my unit. Later on my sister needed to get a few more boxes. The young lady on the register did not know how to ring her up. She was asked 8 time what size boxes she had. My sister let the employees know that customers was poor here. The employee that was annoyed the first time we needed help stated, "I'm not sure why you feel that way because I've only dealt with yall one time." My sister explained his comments were not needed. I rate this experience as poor because no employee should tell a customer I'm busy helping other customers and what you need does not matter. I am a customer as well and have used uhaul for over 10 years. Also, staff members that aren't fully trained should not be in Customer Service as this is the face of the company and when they lack knowledge or lack customer service skills this is a poor experience for your customers. No employee was apologized when we expressed we were not happy with the Customer Service.

My favorite was a young guy with curly hair who had no training or pride in his work. He couldn't print a receipt, and after having me wait for at least ten minutes while he did who knows what on his pc, he started to browse on his phone while I'm standing there. These issues are the managements fault. They are obviously bad at their jobs since they hire people like that. Never again!

I rented a trailer and a truck from Uhaul within a month, which got me 2 months of storage for free. When I moved my things into a storage unit, they told me (the staff) to talk to the manager when my second month came up and he would work with me. That it actually was for 2 separate units, but that he would work with me. When I asked him (Rob, I'm talking about you) about the 2nd month he told me I could have it if I moved everything into a different unit (like right beside the one I was in!!) I was shocked!! This makes no sense and he corrected me and said it does! Ok So....I was to move my stuff to the unit beside my unit??? He obviously doesn't understand what customer service means. He told me he didn't have a button for that. Really...??? I moved everything out within the next two days and will not use Uhaul again. I know that doesn't mean a thing to your bottom dollar, but it sure will be a story I share with anyone who asks about using Uhaul.

Being able to drive through a gate, then park close to your unit, and load through whatever door to the facility is closest to your unit is more efficient from my experience than a single door access location like this one. Elevator is large and this arrangement will work fine for periodic visits. Just took a little longer for initial "fill" and will take a little more time when we need to empty it.
