We got the u-haul and went to pick up a load and it would not start I called them and they said they couldn't help me right then because they had customers and they'd get back with me in about an hour. So I finally realized the battery terminals were so corroded and we got it working took it back to trade it and he acted like it wasn't a big deal and gave me keys for a new one but I had to go find the vin number myself and also get my own dolly from all the way in the back of the building while they just sat there laughing (probably at me) They are lazy and rude. GO WITH PENSKE YEA ITS 30-40$ MORE, BUT SO WORTH IT. PENSKE PENSKE PENSKE. I WOULD NEVER GO TO UHAUL AGAIN EVEN IF THERE WAS A FIRE. LOL

Henry HThe fuel level was said to be at 3/8th When I arrived and it was 1/8th and then I just think it's silly I can't get reimbursement for extra gas in the vehicle But if I don't bring it back with what was in it when I left with it I'll pay $5,25 per gallon??? Not nice. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience. Merci.

I asked to talk with the manager, and he never walk over to me even though I found out he was standing only a few feet away. I thought that was inconsiderate. No matter which U-Haul I rent from I always find damage that has not been marked. I found out after I left, the safety chain on car carrier was stuck and unable to get open. Truck seemed to need an alignment. Trucks should have cruise control and also headlights that turn on after dark.

Tamera RI live 10 miles from the location that Uhaul changed my reservation to. It is a hard to get location, out of the way, I didn't realize it would add 30 miles to my rental, because it was 10 miles from my house, not 4,5 miles like the location I had first booked my reservation. I don't know why Uhaul keeps more of it's trucks at this out of the way location, than easy to get to central locations, but I guess it is to overcharge people for miles they need to pick up the trucks at this location.

John RI tried to talk to a manager to explain my situation with reservation and see if they would discount my rental. The guy I dropped the trailer off to had the response of " That sucks bro." I did not feel that the good folks at U haul seemed to care about customer service at this location.
RAMON MGreat experience with U-haul overall. Security concern is the reason I don't give 5 stars. It's simply because visiting my storage as a woman on my own I didn't always feel comfortable. This could be improved with a locked gate around the storage lot accessible with the key. Otherwise the system you have is convenient and accommodating with friendly staff, great process that was quick and easy to start and end service. Merci.

JOSE OI take pictures of damages on vehicles I take pictures of where the gas gauge is and the mileage and I compare it from when I drop it off because I take pictures or text myself what the gas mileage is at when I drop it off and the mileage dropping off is exactly what the same with your guises I think that’s messed up is the mileage when I picked it up is totally different than the picture I took of the mileage when I picked it up what you guys put down as mileage is totally different than what I have a picture of and my picture is timestamps so you can see that I’m still in the lot at the same time as I did the picture I didn’t do it anywhere down the road or anything and I got I’m getting charged I don’t know how it went from $111 to I’m so confused on this one part says 120 something another part says 140 something and then another part says 180 something so I’m really confused of which ones what
Raina EI rented the unit believing it had 24 hour access which is what I need at this time because I'm having to move in an urgent fashion and I have yet to be able to even get to my unit due to my request for 24 access not being granted. This is the 3rd day in a row that I have not received this access as requested and now I'm truly stuck in a bind. I have to get my move completed immediately and I have to return the uhail truck I rented. I cannot do either because it's currently full because I cannot seem to unload it. I've scanned the QR code as directed and each day it said campaign was full. I've messaged the facility manager 3 times and have yet to receive a response. I also spoke with u-haul customer service. Why is this so difficult? I'm truly frustrated and disappointed.

Oscar RIt is 2024 and Uhaul cannot figure out how to charge people for partial month rent or pro-rate the rent based on a 12 day stay? I got charged a full month rent for a unit on Jan18, vacated the unit on Jan 31, and was told UHaul computers are not capable of refunding unused days. I'm going to call BS on that one too. Uhaul charges customers who are paying premium prices using their storage facilities and renting their trucks to throw trash in their trash bins? I'm going to call BS on that one also. The mob would be proud of the racket that UHaul has set up. There are nowhere near enough dollies and carts set up for folks to use for the size of the facility . The only reason I left an "average" rating is because the facility itself is very nice and clean.

I figured I'd be renting storage space for 3, maybe 4 months, max. Then, wham! My new rental deal fell apart, as the home owner moved her kids into the home. Suddenly, I was very happy that I moved stuff into storage, as I was moving in with family. The uhaul location was great as it was close to work, and easy to access off of I-10. The facility was absolutely clean. There were no creepy crawlies, no funky smells, no water damage to floors or walls that might give me pause as to whether or not my own stuff was at risk. It's been great! On the handful of times, I had a question about something, the staff were helpful. I appreciate good customer service. Now, almost two years to the day I put stuff in storage, I emptied the unit out. I'm a homeowner! ~ Thanks, UHaul!!!

One one occasion I was trying to access during regular access hours, after the office was closed. I have been with you for two years...walking into my storage area and finding homeless people inside and locking themselves in the bathrooms. After speaking to your staff nothing was done about it. You employes in fact just shrug their shoulders when I told him. When I paid for a storage unit, climate control and yet I walk in and its about 90 degrees. Is that temperature controlled? I have been a business owner for years and I have NEVER dealt with such unorganized people in my life. You as a company need to train your employees from completion of reservation, and completeness of contract. Lack of security in "locked storage" and your employees are showing a lack of business customer service. I will be sharing my thoughts about this and will never recommend you. I will not contact the storage unit as this is an issue with uhaul in itself. I wish you luck in staying in this business. People are not in a way to deal with this stuff right now...Shameful.

Was notified day of the reservation (while my truck was en route) that all they had available was a 10x10. Staff was exceptionally rude and disrespectful, to the point of laughing at us over the phone. Manager was unrepentant and even threatened to cancel our reservation and contract when we contacted him. If we had another option, we would have gladly gone elsewhere, but we were already out 700 dollars on the truck and crew we hired. Very poor service. Uhaul has burned its bridges here and this is the last service I will ever hired from them again. Telling everyone I know the same.

Lights keep going out when working in locker. Manager "Jenna" treats customers as if they are an inconvenience for her. She is also disrespectful to the other employees. ("Scolding" them in front of customers. Appearing irritated for when having to help them.) I have used Uhaul for moving and Storage for all my storage and moving needs and have never negative experiences like I've had here. I will be using another location in the future.

I was sent late letters which required me to call on and wait. On the third month I received a vm stating I had to remove my lock if I wanted to vacate. I didn't request to vacate, the manager for the locker number wrong. I called and got a rude employee who said he could not note my account and it was personal between me and the manager who would not be in for two days. I vacated the locker on December 30 and advised the office. They didn't tell me I would have to pay for la lock because I left a small bag of trash in it. I had paid a month in advance and was going to get trash next day. There are no trash cans on premises. I would have remove small container if I knew I would charges for lock. I called manager and left message but she never returned my call. The man who inspected locker was professional

Just be aware it's not a safe area and you'll notice every once in a while someone will break a door to access the customers bathroom. You will see people high off drugs sitting around the perimeter (a sight that is becoming common in Tucson) as the area is not fenced off as one would think. I would definitely spend my money elsewhere next time at a secure location where I'll know I can access my belongings at anytime while not be hyper vigilant due to the transient people who hang around the area. Online pictures make the place look amazing as it is but, the situation around it isn't.

But we realized that there are no trash cans offered on the premises. Also during COVID it became very uncomfortable to go to our storage unit as many people including staff members do not wear face masks. This really rushed my husband & I to get out of there faster then we had planned but well worth it in the end for our safety. It's really shameful that Uhaul is not keeping up with other businesses.

The failure to post signs at the entrances requiring masks is highly irresponsible by a business during a pandemic. Most of the people we encountered in the storage portion of the facility were not wearing masks because U Haul did not post signs that they were required.

I had to ask an employee to wear a mask and then he put it on with his nose sticking out, which does nothing for safety!
